The fully renovated Sunrise Oasis stands only 300m from Sunrise Beach, regarded by many as the most beautiful beach on the island of Cyprus, with crystal clear water and fine golden sand. The hotel is situated right in the centre of the tourist resort of Protaras and all the amenities of the resort can be reached within a short walking distance. The charming church of Profitis Ilias sitting on an imposing natural rock formation is a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

The Sunrise Oasis Hotel & Waterpark is a hit among guests for its immaculate cleanliness and spacious rooms, although a few note the rooms show slight wear. Its prime location is a stone's throw from beaches and shopping, earning high marks for convenience. The service is frequently commended for the friendly staff, yet some guests suggest tweaks to improve sunbed allocation. The hotel's waterpark and various pools receive accolades, as does the value it provides. While the atmosphere is geared towards family fun, certain areas could benefit from more vibrancy.

Just recently come back home from 11 nights at Sunrise Oasis
With the pandemic we didnt think we would get a holiday this year and sunrise oasis excelled our expectations
We married at sunrise beach in 2015 and oasis is not much far behind
The hotel is spotless, we had clean linen and towels every day
Wasnt expecting much breakfast but that was 5* too!
Travelled with our nearly 4 year old and the pool areas are great. Staff were fantastic nothing too much trouble
Will definitely be returning for another visit
If anyone is wondering how safe the hotel and resort is for covid, much safer than England..masks worn by all staff, sanitizer everywhere, 10 to a table in most places, the pool staff even sanitised the sunbeds after use!

We have just returned from a 3-night stay here, we had such a great time, we wish we could have stayed longer. We were on half board, and all evening meals were on an A La Carte basis, which was superb.. delish freshly prepared food, and a trip to their Asian restaurant 'Lemongrass' which was an outstanding restaurant owned by the chain. We could not reccomend this hotel highly enough as the room we were allocated was huge.. 2 seperate rooms, with a seperate large bathroom, kitchenette, and plenty of space.. clean, beds extremely comfy, cleaned daily, with fresh towels and great air con.
The two pools were great fun, a small one for children tucked away so we didn't feel we were under any pressure to quieten down an excited 5 year old. The other was great for chilling out in.
The staff were welcoming from the very beginning, the Head Receptionist was charming, and friendly, as were the rest of the staff in the restaurant, bars, and pool areas. They made a big fuss of our son, and we genuinely hope to visit this hotel again shortly

I’m not normally somebody who writes reviews whether the experience positive or negative but this hotel and it’s staff deserve the recognition!

Firstly, the hotel itself was lovely and clean, our rooms were cleaned everyday and our maid Zoya was just the loveliest lady, couldn’t fault the cleanliness, and the pool area was also spotless.

Secondly the food, there was plenty of variety and there was the choice to eat out at numerous restaurants on the strip, We thoroughly enjoyed our food every night and the service in the restaurant is just second to none. I travelled with my parents and my little girl who was 3, the staff absolutely fell in love with her. Waiters and waitresses were so so pleasant. The chefs, they looked after us so well, my little girl wanted pictures with them all. Finally, Giannis, what an absolute pleasure it was to meet him, he bought my little girl an ice lolly at his own expense, let my little girl help him and we just got looked after amazingly, so thank you to you all!

Thirdly, the pool - the hotel seemed relatively quiet still with the COVID situation but we had the baby pool and main pool to ourselves almost everyday, it wasn’t overcrowded, no fight for sun beds it was bliss. Towels could be hired daily, you pay a €10 deposit per person for the duration of your stay which was given back at the end.

Overall, myself and my family had a fabulous stay at the hotel and would love to come back, my only minor points was there was a lack of evening entertainment ( possibly because of COVID) and our room had bunk beds which for a 3 year old and a 26 year old weren’t ideal, but apart from that I have nothing but positive comments to make and I would certainly recommend a stay here!

I hope the staff see this review as every single one of them in every department were so pleasant and friendly and they just seriously deserve some recognition, I have never been on a holiday and felt so special and welcomed by every single member of staff so thank you!

Probably one of the best holiday hotels we have stayed at. We stayed in Room 420 Studio with sea view (September 2021) and the room was beautiful. Loads of drawers and a decent wardrobe. Free safe in the wardrobe. Bathroom is well equipped with a walk in shower that has a conventional attachment and with a button to use the rainfall shower above your head. Has to be one of the best showers we have ever had on holiday. Always warm too. The bed was massive with a memory foam mattress which gave such a good nights sleep. Out of the room onto a small balcony where there are two comfy chairs and a table. The room is cleaned daily, clean towels daily and loo roll restocked if you need it. Air conditioning is amazing, works so well you may find yourself turning the heat up a bit. A very well equipped kitchenette is in the room. Microwave in a cupboard, toaster, kettle, cafetière, crockery, cutlery and utensils. The hotel reception staff are lovely and will help you with everything you need. Pool bar and the staff there are excellent. There are plenty sun beds and every 2 beds have an umbrella. From reception get a towel card. €20 refundable deposit, you can collect 2 clean towels from a really lovely fella as you go to the pool area. Before 6 give him the 2 you had and get 2 clean ones for tomorrow. At the end of the holiday exchange you last towels for your card and get your €20 back from reception. If you are not all inclusive (we don’t as we like to eat out) then buy at the pool bar by signing a chit against your room. Settle the bill in reception as when you want to, we did it daily.
I have to be honest I have stayed at so called 5 star hotels before not as good as the Sunrise Oasis. It is a short walk from the strip but just out of ear shot of the loud music so ideal. The management set very high Standards here and I have to say it shows. Oh the breakfasts are plentiful and yummy. Would I stay here again, we are already planning our return for next year. A fantastic hotel.

We stayed as a young couple for 10 nights in October 2021. All inclusive.
The hotel;
Great staff all round (George at poolbar especially!) cleaning and restaurant staff always wearing a smile, under their masks obviously. They still take Covid protocol strongly. Pool area clean and relaxing, the water warmed up by about 2pm. Tvs showing most major sporting events too always a plus. Checking in and out was simple and easy.

Food;
Usually we don’t bother with all inclusive dining but glad we did for this occasion. Breakfast is your average affair. Lunch and dinner was surprisingly varied and good quality every day we went. Bonus points for having the option to eat out at 4 of their outside restaurants on the strip(have to book 24 hours in advance)
Drinks at poolbar during the daytime were great, service is fast and friendly every time. Can’t give enough credit to Adam and George who mostly ran that!

Room;
We upgraded to a sea view , technically it is but the hotel is located just a distance from the sea. Pool/sea view is still nice to chill on the balcony. Room was spacious enough for us two, waterfall shower was great and the queen size bed might have been one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in! Rooms cleaned daily but my only personal gripe was maid service starts early (9am) so personally I’d find having to put a do not disturb sign on the door most mornings to get ready in peace for the day.

I would recommend the hotel for anyone, couples , families of any age.

Just returned from our stay this morning , on arrival was greeted by reception staff after 10pm arrival on the 11th may lovely ladies always smiling and pleasant , was in our room 5 mins after that . Stayed in a 1 bed apt limited sea view 4th floor room 430 but in my opinion was a great view to the right seaview and the rest was land and villa views looking up to St Elias church on the hill beautiful when the sun was going down sunset and sun on balcony in afternoon. Apt was cleaned and towels changed daily great rainfall shower over bath plenty of cupboard / draw space toiletries replenished most days , kitchenette with great size fridge and freezer compartment, hob microwave and toaster and kettle with plenty of kitchen utensils. Free safe and air conditioning which was ok for May but would need to set it cooler in main seasons ,and good size living room with sofas table and chairs and TV but sadly no English TV !!! Plesse note Sunrise Oasis us brits love watching the tv whilst chilling or whilst getting ready in the morning would have kept the husband quiet whilst I was getting ready lol usually stay in the Sunrise Oasis and they have the 4 basic BBC1 BBC2 ITV CH4 this would be appreciated, while we where there mostly Brirs seemed to be in the hotel. Very clean only stayed BB as we like to eat out while in Beautiful Cyprus no complaints here ,limited breakfast options but enough to satisfy really but drinks weren't great
!! but what we had paid for the week I feel bad for complaining tbh other than that would we stay here again?? Yes we would !! right nxt to Lidl quiet position one Rd back from strip cant comment on entertainment as only really used hotel as a good base. Thank you to all the great staff hope to see you again one day stay safe best regards Lisa.

We travelled as a family, with 16 & 9 yo girls, paid extra for the sea view. Second floor - we had amazing views as the hotel's road is higher than the strip. Peaceful to rest, but less than a 5 min walk to the centre where the bars and restaurants are
Had B&B option, food was excellent, high quality, fresh with a huge choice.
Recently refurbished room, spectacularly clean, well furnished and large. Bathroom was immaculate with a waterfall shower
Had 2 room apartment, bed was enormous. Living space had new kitchen & appliances, table & chairs, large sofa and bunks for kids. Loads of storage, drawers, wardrobes, plenty for us for 14 days.
Maid was wonderful, she left cupcakes and decorations in our room on daughters birthday, that lady was a dream and we made sure she received a lovely tip.
The pool is huge, well designed with a swim up bar, but a bit cold for me! Aqua zumba/gym every morning and the reps were great fun and really engaging. There's also tennis courts and a large dedicated toddler pool with novelty sprinklers & water features, a lovely sundeck with lots of sunbeds & umbrellas
Choice of sundeck or garden around the main pool, plenty of space while we were here - even though it was Oct half term.
100% will book a return visit. Amazing value for money.. Top quality.
If all inclusive, the restaurant range is really good, but they are not all at this site, some are on the strip (which is a very short walk) You also have use of the spa at the other sunrise hotels.

This place is just so lovely! I think what makes this place is how friendly all of the staff are! Receptionists are always happy to help and have a smile on their face. Waiting staff at breakfast and meal times are always polite, asking how you are and friendly. Always happy to have you there! The Staff at the pool bar are the best! They work so hard and are the friendliest people! Veronica was so smiley! But they are all great!

I was happy with drinks. Slightly disappointed couldn’t have some spirits (dissarono or baileys) on all inclusive but a wide selection of cocktails! Also nice that bottled water is available! Breakfast options were great! Always fresh selection of food. There wasn’t a massive selection of food at dinner and lunch but this meant we knew food was cooked fresh and it was always warm and tasty. As a vegetarian, I managed to eat something different each night, not the biggest selection but I expect this. The pizzas are amazing, made in the pizza oven and fresh and tasty! We only tried one restaurant- the Italian. Service was quite slow and I was profusely sick with vomiting within 1 hour of eating the risotto. Not sure if it was because it was quite greasy or warmed up rice? This put me off trying other restaurants but the restaurant at the hotel was great.

The pool is good! Nice temperature. Beds are always available. No rush to go down at 6am to reserve a bed. If you want a lie in until 9 you will still manage to get a bed. I do wish I could have swam more. Lots of children in the pool (which is ok as a family resort and not adults only) but the children's pool we often empty. Some music around the pool would have been fantastic and added to the atmosphere.

It’s a short walk to the beach (10 minutes) and it’s a really lovely beach. Good location! Close to the strip and beach. Bus trip to Aiya Napa is 20 minutes from the strip and run till 4am which was good when we wanted a night trip there.

Checkout was at 12 which was great for a late flight. There are also shower rooms/changing rooms which can be used when you have a late flight. We were also allowed to continue using all inclusive (drinks and food) until checkout.

Was really impressed with the room. Air con was very powerful and needed!!! Lovely private balcony overlooking the sea and pool. Big room and huge beds.

I wish there had been more/better evening entertainment and daytime entertainment.

Wonderful holiday! Thank you!

Upon arriving the hotel looks lovely. The main pool is a good size and the children’s pool is a great size too.
We stayed with our 2 children ages 2 and 4. The room was small as we were given a studio with a sofa bed for our 4yr old and a double bed for us. Our 2yr old was given a travel cot which was dirty and stained. We decided against using this and put him in between us for the duration.
The main issue for us was the cleanliness of the room. The room was cleaned every 3ish days. This might be ok for some people but with a child still in nappies it became a big issue for us.
The tiny bin we were provided with was overflowing by day 2 of not being cleaned. There was sand all over the floor from our beach visit and the towels weren’t drying properly. There was no fan in the bathroom and our fridge door didn’t close.
We reported the fridge door upon arriving and they said they’d send someone up to us to fix it. Nobody ever came.
Friends of ours also complained their A/C stopped working, they reported it at midday but again nobody showed up to fix it. They also had a just turned 2yr old and by 21:30 is was just too much as it reached over 30 degrees in their room so they ended up complaining yet again and were given keys to change rooms. Not great at 21:30 at night with a toddler! Also there was no apology or anything.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and will not be staying again. Surely for the price we paid, somebody could clean the room daily and give the sides a quick wipe down? Not sure how it’s a 4 star as this is not like any other 4 star hotel we’ve stayed at previously.

We stayed at sunrise oasis . We could not believe the size of our room it was fab had queen size bed no singles pushed together . Showers early in the morning are a tad cold but later they are lovely and hot .
The cleaners were very friendly and worked hard staff pleasent . Not alot of entertainment in the evenings it's an outside bar but we didn't like cardboard cups for an evening I think guests should have better quality glasses for an evening and entertainingarea . The lobby bar is never busy quite boring as no music playing no atmosphere.

Pool area is amazing plenty of loungers no wars with guests as plenty to go around also lots of umbrellas.
We did bed and breakfast and this was good every morning plenty of cooked restaurant is small and outside.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer if family's need it
4 euros for a wash 2 euros for 50 min dry u can add more minutes.
Fabulous location lydl opposite so lots of nice fresh bread etc .
5 minute walk to the centre of potarus 15 mins walk to fig tree bay .
Plenty if places to eat we had meal in a pub called cheers very good value and good service .
We went for a couple of lovely meals in Sonjos it's up on a veranda and beautiful food and service . The Cypriot dishes are fab and the puddings are all home made . We did turn up and get a table but we suggest u book as its a busy restaurant and popular.
We had 3 course meal 4 drinks (spirits) total 66 euro which was good we were so full .

There is lovely cafes on figtree Bay reasonable prices loungers on the beach were 7.50 euro for 2 loungers and 1 umbrella for the day which is cheap.
Weather very hot it was 32 to 34 most days can get humid .
Shame to see covid had hit some area shops or restaurants closed down . We came 3 years ago and could see covids impact on small businesses.
We booked a speed boat trip down on the harbour we went to famagusta on the open top bus was truly amazing well worth seeing. Very hot so be prepared with hats etc u need to take passports for the trip .
We also saw the water fountain show in potarus this was 20 euros each through tui was well worth watching .
Fab holiday will definitely book this hotel again they are having a big refurb next year adding waterslides and more entertaining areas .

Yes you can still use your all inclusive on your last day. Make sure and tell the pool guy you have a late flight home the day before so he gives you your towel card back, regarding the showers I'm not 100% sure as we booked a late 6pm check out.
