The fully renovated Sunrise Oasis stands only 300m from Sunrise Beach, regarded by many as the most beautiful beach on the island of Cyprus, with crystal clear water and fine golden sand. The hotel is situated right in the centre of the tourist resort of Protaras and all the amenities of the resort can be reached within a short walking distance. The charming church of Profitis Ilias sitting on an imposing natural rock formation is a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

Have just come back from a fantastic week here. This is a fabulous hotel absolutely spotless everywhere. Lovely one bedroom apartment which had towels and bed linen changed everyday. Breakfast was amazing so much to choose from!!! The staff The pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds . A really lovely hotel that is being changed next year 2023 to include a new restaurant and 7 waterslides . I highly recommend this hotel.

Once again a brilliant stay!! I honestly never know what’s not to like? The rooms are spacious and we had a great view, they are clean and have lots of storage etc. The shower is very powerful and aircon great. The food at the hotel has been really good, enough choice and something for everyone and the dine around is a fantastic option. The Pool area is great, slightly concerned about the slides coming next year, not our thing at all but I imagine lots of families will like them. I do like the idea of the adults only pool and bar. Location, just five mins from the strip and sea and far enough away from the noise. Staff have been, as always really pleasant and professional especially the receptionist who is on in the evenings. The hotel has a relaxed vibe and never had a problem getting a sunbed at anytime of day. We have stayed in lots of hotels on Protaras over the years but we always end up returning here , this place really is like a second home, and in my opinion cannot he beaten, we are looking forward to returning once again soon!

This hotel is more a 3 star than a 4 but you get what you pay for! The pool area is lovely and clean with plenty of beds. Bring your own towels though as they are so small and you have to pay 10 euro per towel. Fabulous location and only 5 mins from the beach. We were all inclusive but ate out apart from breakfast which was ok. The food was vile - cold, bland and the same thing every day! Take advantage of eating at the four all inclusive restaurants on the strip they were superb! We wouldn’t come here again!

I have just returned from the Sunrise Oasis, as a group of 4 ( 2 couples) we spent a very enjoyable week here. The hotel is in a fabulous position 2 streets back from the main strip , staff keep the pool area restaurant & communal areas spotlessly clean .We stayed on a B&B package , the breakfast choice was excellent with lots of hot & cold options . Pool bar was well stocked & friendly service staff plenty sun beds. Rooms were Spacious an iron & dustpan & brush would have been a handy addition. Can’t comment on evening entertainment as we went out in the evening . I would certainly give this hotel 9/10 & thoroughly recommend it to couple families & groups of friend

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in which resulted in the best holiday I’ve had to date. The main reason being the food, every night it was stunning. Different soup each night which was lovely, a really good mix of meat dishes and sides. You get 4 restaurants to choose from eat out at once each and we only used 2 of them as we didn’t feel the need to eat out for 4 nights as the food at the hotel was that good. We went to Marcellos and Lemongrass, both stunning restaurants. All the staff at the hotel was very friendly from the reception, restaurant and the bar. A special mention to Sagar on the pool bar, was really polite, well mannered and looked after us all week. The rooms were very spacious and clean, every day we come back to a spotless room. Great drinks options on the bar and was very generous, could not have done more for us. Will 100% be coming back to stay at the Sunrise Oasis again, really exceeded our expectations and I am still going on about the food whilst I’m back home, very surprised how good the hotel food was for all inclusive, was genuinely top-tier restaurant standard every day. Only one small recommendation I would say is to possibly have more main meal vegetarian options, as my girlfriend is vegetarian and wanted more options. However there was something for her every night and she was still really happy with the food overall, so that will not be changing our rating of the hotel. Thanks again to all the staff at Sunrise Oasis for their 5 star service and making our holiday one we will never forget. See you again soon!

Just got back from an 11 night stay here and it was amazing. Staff were fantastic, couldn't do enough for you, everywhere spotless, rooms were great, food was pretty decent (not a massive amount of choice and a bit repetitive but it was nice food) and the dine around option is great. Couldn't fault it really. Only slight gripe is AI finishes at 11pm

We stayed at sunrise oasis . We could not believe the size of our room it was fab had queen size bed no singles pushed together . Showers early in the morning are a tad cold but later they are lovely and hot . The cleaners were very friendly and worked hard staff pleasent . Not alot of entertainment in the evenings it's an outside bar but we didn't like cardboard cups for an evening I think guests should have better quality glasses for an evening and entertainingarea . The lobby bar is never busy quite boring as no music playing no atmosphere. Pool area is amazing plenty of loungers no wars with guests as plenty to go around also lots of umbrellas. We did bed and breakfast and this was good every morning plenty of cooked restaurant is small and outside. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer if family's need it 4 euros for a wash 2 euros for 50 min dry u can add more minutes. Fabulous location lydl opposite so lots of nice fresh bread etc . 5 minute walk to the centre of potarus 15 mins walk to fig tree bay . Plenty if places to eat we had meal in a pub called cheers very good value and good service . We went for a couple of lovely meals in Sonjos it's up on a veranda and beautiful food and service . The Cypriot dishes are fab and the puddings are all home made . We did turn up and get a table but we suggest u book as its a busy restaurant and popular. We had 3 course meal 4 drinks (spirits) total 66 euro which was good we were so full . There is lovely cafes on figtree Bay reasonable prices loungers on the beach were 7.50 euro for 2 loungers and 1 umbrella for the day which is cheap. Weather very hot it was 32 to 34 most days can get humid . Shame to see covid had hit some area shops or restaurants closed down . We came 3 years ago and could see covids impact on small businesses. We booked a speed boat trip down on the harbour we went to famagusta on the open top bus was truly amazing well worth seeing. Very hot so be prepared with hats etc u need to take passports for the trip . We also saw the water fountain show in potarus this was 20 euros each through tui was well worth watching . Fab holiday will definitely book this hotel again they are having a big refurb next year adding waterslides and more entertaining areas .

We had really high expectations for this hotel after reading all the wonderful Tripadvisor reviews. However several circumstances interrupted the overall positive impression. For the sake of clarity, I'll list pros and cons in a list: Pros: - It is hard to find friendlier staff, than the staff at Oasis. The receptionist are smiling and welcoming and eager to help. The pool bar waiters waved and send kisses to our excited 1-year old, when she was dancing to the music. - The rooms are of great standard (we tried both a studio with sea view and a two room apartment). They both had great space and didn't feel cramped even with three suitcases and a large stroller. - The locations is great and there's a great amount of money to be saved because of Lidl next door. Here you can by alle your drinks and snacks. They even have lunch salads and other types of easy lunch. Cons: - The children's pool area is soooo tired. Cracked tiles, broken umbrellas, broken sun beds (it was easier to find a broken one, than a full functional one), and so extremely dirty. I don't think anybody cleans it. The same garbage that was there when we came, was still there when we left. For example coffee cups alongside the pool plants. Theres no staff here at all unless they are serving peoples ordered food. We even had to fish out someones poop one day, as we were swimming with our daughter. It was the most disgusting thing. They should really tighten up on pool rules and baby swimming diapers. Also people were smoking there, which in my eyes is ridiculous to allow in children's areas. But again theres no one to enforce rules anyway. - Breakfast buffet is boring and small, there isn't a lot to choose from. Bread is dry and everyday is the exact same as the day before. - The rooms does not have lotion, cuticles and cotton pads. One can of course easily bring these items themselvs, but usually the hotels we have stayed in, provides these small items (Lidl to the rescue). - The aircon in the rooms are really poor. It cannot keep a pleasant temperature. Either it cools too much or it becomes too hot. - It is hard to find an available sun bed. People place their towels as early as 6 o'clock (pool opens at 9). Although there are signs saying, that it isn't allowed to block sun beds with your towel, nobody is saying anything, so everyone does it. Staff is well aware, but they do not react unfortunately. We had a nice stay, but if we come to Protaras again, I would probably consider staying somewhere with a nicer children's pool area, larger breakfast and maybe a bit closer to the beach as the walk was a bit harsh in the sun because of a steep hill. If we do come again, it is because of the wonderful people ín the reception and the pool bar. Thank you for making our daughter smile and laugh.
