Typically traditional finnisch style hotel directly located at the lake. Nice rooms and friendly staff. We love the carelian buffet. It very tasty. The is music and a summer market. We will definitely come back.

Stayed with our family with 2 kids (ages 0 and 2) in the mid of July. We had a room in a 2-storey Karelian village, which was a huge disappointment. The houses seem to have virtually no soundproofing as during the night we could clearly hear the creaking footsteps, discussions, and even urinating of the people staying in the apartment...

To have a hotel close to the famous Bomba log house in Nurmes was simply a perfect location. The grounds set in the magnificent.Northern Karelian lake scenery are a Paradise. My room, looking out onto beautiful forest, was spotlessly tidy. The pillows were also firm and good. I will certainly come back to this place when using my own car....

Stayed here 1 night with my family of 2 kids. Due to kids we reserved room from "Karelian village" side which is about 300m apart from the main hotel. I booked through hotel web page and rate was 84€/night for 1 room. In the pictures room was big and looked okay but actual room was different than what was pictured....

Finland is a beautiful country in summer but few places are as charming as Bomba area in Nurmes. Located on the shore of Lake Pielinen, it offers everything a family with small children needs from a spa to activities and even a chocolate fountain for dipping marshmallows at breakfast. Awesome! Accommodation is offered in both cottages and the spa hotel...

There is a a la carte list and daily carelian buffet. We had buffet, which was a disappointment and overpiced (17,5 €). If you consider eating a buffet lunch, you...

Quiet and comfortable place The service and food were good. The so-called spa, however, was even worse than the "swimming halls" and cottages was poorly lit, also the condition of the bathroom did not meet expectations. But I can recommend if you are not interested in the spa.

A Spa hotel next to lake Pielinen. Really nice Finnish lake views from the spa. The spa area is quite small with few pools indoors and outside. Rooms located in the new building opposite to the spa were surprisingly good quality. Restaurant was located a few hundred meters away in the old Carelian Bomba house that is a place to...
