All Senses Ocean Blue Sea Side Resort hosts a vibrant atmosphere that brims with activities and entertainment, which, while appealing to some, can be a source of noise for others. While the hotel's location is often lauded for its beach proximity, guests have called out the disturbance from nearby airport traffic.

We stayed here for a week and had a lovely holiday, but the hotel itself was a mixed bag.
The negatives -
We had a ‘swim up’ room, which actually has a wooden bridge to your hotel room, it looks nice but the bridges are quite dangerous - steep, slippery, with no grip and ours was in quite bad condition with wobbly hand rail and slats that were wearing away. They definitely need to update these and if you have any mobility issues I would check what room you will be staying in!
The toilet seat in our room was broken and despite reporting it to reception nothing was done about it.
The room was serviced daily and we were given fresh towels but they never did general cleaning like wiping down the bathroom sink which I thought was odd. They also didn’t replenish toiletries and toilet paper so we had to go and get some.
The food was generally good - always lots of salad, pasta etc, but it wasn’t very varied and vegetarian options could have been better.
The positives -
The staff at the hotel were all nice and helpful.
The pool and gardens are nice and well maintained.
The location is convenient- you can get a taxi into Rhodes town easily and it’s close to the airport (which means you do hear the planes a lot but this didn’t bother us). There are some shops and restaurants by the hotel as well.
The staff in the restaurant work very hard - they were always busy clearing plates, replenishing food and making sure we had what we needed.
There is a car hire place on site which was great - we hired a car for one day which was a great way to explore the island.
All in all we had a great holiday and I would probably stay here again if it was a reasonable price, but there are a few things that could be improved.

Excellent hotel from the moment I arrived. The young girl on reception was very pleasant and helpful, which was welcome after a somewhat fraught journey. My room was well appointed and clean, with tv (which I didn’t switch on so don’t know what channels were on it), kettle and tea/coffee (which you could keep topped up from the restaurant) and a fridge, with 2 bottles of water. The room was cleaned every day, with bed made, towels replaced and water replaced. Having been to numerous all inclusive hotels in several countries I am always a little sceptical about the food on offer. There are no concerns here, with the food available being some of the best I’ve ever had, I particularly enjoyed the veal and boiled pork, they were so tender and tasty. You can never please all the people, all the time, but I can honestly say there were no bad meals during my stay. The outside areas were kept very neat and the pools cleaned daily and there were some games inside, including a pool table, air hockey and pinball. Yes, it is close to the Airport so there is noise from planes taking off and landing, but personally after a day or so I didn’t really notice. Don’t bother booking transfers, get a taxi. Mine cost me €15 from the Airport and €18 for the return and one into Rhodes town is around €20 (I paid €22 from Kolona Harbour). To sum up, if I ever return to Rhodes I will definitely consider staying at Ocean Blue again.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
I am currently in this Pension for 2 weeks, we just spent the first week. Contrary to some reviews our room is clean and large enough for 3. We are not pool side and good because animation until 11pm... Animations boff because there are 1 or 2 animators, the animator is dynamic, he tries to do for the best with the means he has.... Karaoke, dance, lotto... The pool is quiet not too crowded.... On the other hand, you have to book your deckchair early in the morning, some break their towel but they are not seen all day..... However, horrible food, no taste, no interest... The Inn is 40 minutes from Rhodes and you have to take the local bus 8 minutes walk, 3.30 euros a ticket.... it passes every 30 minutes and always at the hour from 5am to 11pm. The kremasti centre is a 30-minute walk away... It is absolutely necessary to rent a car CAT A 70 e per day....there is a rental agency in the Pension, no worries, I recommend. we rented a car 4 days and went around the island , superb coves and beaches... this avoids the super expensive excursions that can be done by car very easily, driving is quiet no worries..... Good stay overall because Rhodes is very pretty and wild on the East Coast....

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and instructed by the receptionist. So far so good. However, when we wanted to move into our room, this unfortunately did not correspond at all to the pictures of the website as well as our ideas. In addition, this was not clean and an ant trail leads behind the desk. When we requested a new room, we were told that the entire hotel was fully booked. We were a little desperate at first and thought about going to another hotel. The staff at the reception has everything wonderfully arranged, she sent the housekeeping to us in the room and the room was cleaned again and the ant trail removed. We were also told that we should talk to the front office manager the next morning about the requested upgrade. The extremely competent FO manager Virginia saved our vacation. She put our wishes first and already the next day we could enjoy a beautiful room with private pool and a attention of the house we also got. This is service!! I would also like to praise all the other staff, especially the restaurant manager Maria, who really had everything under control and rounded off our stay, the housekeeping lady who really gives everything and the complete service staff who do their job very well. The hotel may have had its best days, but is still highly recommended in good conscience. The hospitality, food and atmosphere are great. I'll be back!

So to begin I’d like to say the holiday overall was fantastic, such a great experience from start to finish.
To begin with we booked a garden view room and we’re upgraded on arrival to a swim up room I’d like to thank the staff again for their discretion when passing me on details of the birthday surprise I’d planned with them for my partner over email which they were very responsive and active online and for the complementary wine.
The staff cannot be faulted from the reception team to the cleaners and the waiting staff. Everyone is excellent, cheery and always happy to help. The entertainment team manager was engaging always doing his best to get everyone involved and organising fun little things for everyone to do. Also we had a little fault with our toilet and before we even had chance to report it the cleaner noticed it, reported it and the maintenance man had it fixed within a couple hours.
The food is classic Greek cuisine with fresh salads, bread and meats but every night will also be a different theme alongside from Italian to Mexican so there will always be a good variety of food to choose from however fussy eaters may struggle a bit with the food. This food might not be to everyone’s cup of tea but if you really didn’t like the food there is a very easily accessible bus into kremasti or ialysos with lots of restaurants to choose from and even a little bar round the corner.
So facilities wise there is a main pool, a slide pool and a kiddies pool. All well looked after and clean where we’ve seen groundskeepers adding cleaning products to the water at night after the pools have shut up for the day. The grounds themselves are well looked after with the greenery very well trimmed and maintained.
So the only issue I really had was the drinks provided by the hotel. Obviously for an all inclusive you are gonna bleed the most money with drinks however I feel that the drinks provided were not of the best quality and could definitely be improved. Their cocktails were especially strong so there could not be any complaints there if that’s what you were after however it was hard to have these drinks for any enjoyment.
Not a complaint but a mention but you will be listening to planes fly directly overhead from morning till night most days so if that bothers you I’d be wary when booking but I found you got used to it by the second day.
Overall a fantastic stay and definitely looking forward to the fire for this hotel, would definitely be a return for me in the future and I wish the staff all the best.

We brought our daughter for her first family holiday and had a fabulous time. The staff here were amazing and sorted out anything we needed - especially the hotel restaurant manager who provided my daughter with milk for our room when she saw she was trying to drink the little milks for the coffees! The room was cleaned daily and the hotel reception staff were able to let us have a late check out due to our late flight home - for an extra, reasonable fee of course. We had a swim up room which was well worth it as my daughter is nervous of swimming in a busy and loud environment. We loved our week here!

Recently stayed here after our booking was changed at the last min (original booking had an issue 2 days before we flew out). not having time to look around much, this was something we picked as it was close to where we were meant to be staying. some of the reviews we had read left us with mixed impressions but based on the recent reviews we chose this hotel. I will say, service is great. staff are friendly, especially the entertainment team. Ian, Louna and Kitty are all assets to the hotel. the team at reception were great too and helpful. I did however not like the way 1 of the staff was speaking to some new starters in the dining hall. they were getting told off for having a drink in front of guests and it's not appropriate. It was 32 degrees, so i can't see any guests having an issue if staff want to stay hydrated but snapping at staff in front of guests is inappropriate Generally the hotel is clean but needs some maintenance especially in the rooms. On the first day we had to complain that the rail on the balcony is not getting cleaned and has lots of bird poo, it wasn't followed up with, so we had no where to dry swimsuits. our room was not cleaned despite a sign being left on the door. it was cleaned after I complained, even then the bed is done, and the towels are changed but i didn't see the floor was swept or mopped. even when we moved the sofa in the room, we found hairbands from previous guests. we also had a wobbly toilet, which was addressed the same day luckily the shower had signs of rusting and mildew, so a deep clean would be a good idea All other areas of the hotel were kept in good condition expect the Gym. not sure i would class it as a gym as it had minimal equipment and looked outdated. On a positive, food was generally tasty and plenty. my only complaint would be signage needs to be better. I am a vegetarian and it makes it hard to figure out what i can have or not. most days the pasta sauce had signs indicating they were not veg friendly so what would I eat the pasta with? The potato salad had a Vegetarian sign but had ham in it there was a day when the hummus had bits of sausage on it to decorate it. I even recall picking up a pastry where is said apple pie and actually had cheese inside. so as a vegetarian it makes it difficult to eat. The pool side bar is advertised to have hot and cold snacks but there were some sandwich's, which were not marked with what was in them, some loafs of cake, biscuits and fruit, but nothing else. Good location as the short walk to the main road, where you can get a bus into the old town. there are also some coffee shops and supermarkets to grab anything you may need However please note, it is near the airport and you will see and hear planes go above the hotel. Flights start early and are running till late hours, so not a great location for light sleepers
I would suggest walking down a little if you want to go to the beach, it is very pebbly but a little further down the coast you will find spots where you will have a little sand
Overall a good stay but i wouldn't class it as a 4 star

I only had an overnight here as I thought why not an overnight in an all-inclusive instead of an overnight in a city hotel. But it really is budget. The staff are very friendly and the grounds are beautiful but the rooms are tired and they are lacking in maintenance staff. We had the swim up pool rooms by the main pool. The swim up pools were like a narrow moat about 1m wide and 1m deep say. Not to be confused with the nicer looking rooms by reception that have about a 2.5 by 2.5m swim up pools. Our channel pools had leaves and cigarette butts floating in them and I don't think they clean the decking that belongs to your room because there was rubbish on the ground. And the bathrooms needed a good scrub and the shower curtain needed binning. Directly in front of our room was also the main pool which had all the sunbeds around. But three sunbeds were absolutely covered in bird poo which really turned me off, that for the entirety of our stay was just left there instead of being removed by staff. The floors of the spa building needed a detailed clean and the windows of the spa building looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. In the restaurant they didn't clean the tables. The waitstaff removed the plates of the previous guests, gave a flick round of the placemats and then re-set. There was tomato sauce on one of the mats. Now if you're looking for a cheap and cheerful girls/lads holiday then great, but if you've saved up and are looking to pay thousands for a decent family or couples holiday, look elsewhere.

Some of the reviews before going at the end of July was of putting but we have had a great time. If you arrive after the restaurant closes at 9.30 pm then I advise you to of already eaten as we arrived at 11.45pm and there was only a wrapped up ham and cheese sandwich available. All the staff were pleasant. Reception staff extremely helpful! The animation team were brilliant. Ian was great with the guests and ensured you were having a good time. Kitty did a good aqua Aerobics and engaged with the guests. The bedrooms were of a decent size. The restaurant had a small buffet to what we are used to, but we never had to Que, wasn’t crowded, food was replenished regularly and we always got a table. As I’m a picky eater and I normally struggle with all inclusive, but I found something every meal time. ( I do all inclusive for my husband and 13 year old daughter) plus all inclusive isn’t just about the food or drink. It’s about the entertainment too. The entertainment on a night I feel is lacking. There is a Greek night on a Saturday where ppl come in but all the other nights it’s the entertainment staff. The pool area is clean and the pool is a decent size. There is a small children’s pool and a pool under cover. There are also two slides. There is a snack bar that opens from 10-6pm at the pool side. Dosent have a great deal on offer though. My only disappointment is that they don’t offer bottled water for free. There is a charge of €1 for a small bottle. They do filtered water that you can ask for but I feel the bottled water should be included in the all inclusive. I would say this hotel is more like a 3.5 than a 4 star. There is only 2 restaurants nearby, one being Billy’s bar which did nice food, and two shops. Hotel is a little remote. The beach is over the road but very pebbley. Overall we are glad we stayed here and enjoyed ourselfs.

An excellent stay at the hotel which is in a fantastic location ..right on the Aegean sea..
Our day started with a run on the quiet street by the sea.
A rich buffet breakfast was just the beginning...because you always find something to eat throughout the day
The pools were waiting for us for a relaxing swim after our dip in the sea with the turquoise waters
In the afternoon we watched the magical sunset and took unique photos
At the amazing buffet with a great variety for all tastes and excellent quality, we were welcomed by the friendly Maria Papadimitri, who always took care of us in the best way.
In the evenings, we drank our cocktails and enjoyed Greek music and dancing by local dancers
It really is a clean, safe, hotel that can accommodate couples as well as families with small children and everyone have a wonderful time.
