Spent a week at the Bayside Hotel, the main selling point of this little hotel is the staff, they are warm, welcoming and very accommodating! The rooms have useful fridges, kettles and hobs, so if on a budget they are perfect for lunch in your room. The balcony was perfect at night. Free air on and little TVs. Taverna on site, gardens and own beach. Opposite is a little supermarket and only a 5 min walk to the bus stop to town and the airport. Lots of local restaurants I would recommend Canton and Rosemary in particular. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the pool area. It really does need a severe deep clean of all the grills and tiles and some chlorine popping in the pool, as it is building up green algae. At this time of year, at the end of season, not many people we’re swimming as too cold and windy, so I understand the need to cut costs on chlorine and filtration, but the pool area was really disappointing with a shut down bar, broken umbrellas and sun beds, and a dirty pool. It’s the selling point of the hotel with the raised bar and bridges, but it has lost its previous glam. However at £35 a night I imagine there isn’t much profit for renovation projects post pandemic so I appreciate its hard to find spare cash to invest in this area but it’s where I would put my focus on for 2023/2024 season.

Hotel was good and easy to arrive from airport. Nick was very friendly and we felt welcoming, thanks to him for that. The woman with black hair at front desk wasn’t really professional. She claimed us for her own mistake and didnt apologies us, even toho she made a mistake and blamed us for no reason. Not really professional work from her! Otherwise we liked the hotel very much so thanks to others for good stay!

The best thing about this place are the staff. The owner Nick was so helpful and serviceminded. Unfortunately the poolbar where closed when we where there but besides that it was a grest stay! Just next to the brach and close to a big grosserystore. My warmest rekomendations about this place.

First thing i want to say is that the chubby woman at reception was very rude throughout our stay, she tried to separate us when we first checked in and every time we asked her for something on the phone she would sigh and make us feel like we were a nuisance. she is a very poor addition to the hotel and i would recommend that she gets a different job as she doesn’t know the meaning of customer service. Food wasn’t nice at all but the manager went out of his way to order us a delivery every night and also bought us food from the supermarket on request. The wifi kept going off and we only had 1 bar signal throughout the whole ten days. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were rock solid, our backs are paying the price now. my hips are bruised both sides. the tv was the smallest tv i have ever seen in a hotel. we had to kill 3 cockroaches in the room also which made us sick. The best addition to this hotel is the manager and his brother who were very reassuring and helpful throughout our stay.

We were meant to go here for one night. We enjoyed it so much we stayed another. Then we switched for a sea view room for another two nights. So our road trip around Rhodes come to a halt!!
This place is overall pretty quiet which is how I like it.
Kremasti is at the end of the runway so for about 3-4 times a day a group of planes fly over really low. Which I loved. It’s quite a sight.
Kremasti is on the more breezy side of the island so it’s almost bearable to sunbathe with the August heat.
I’d definitely recommend paying for the sea view. It’s not only the view but the rooms are more modern than the side wing of the hotel.
You could get by without a car but I’d recommend one to see the sights.
The hotels not the Ritz but it’s value for money and all the staff give you that warm Greek welcome.
I’d highly recommend this place. It’s not 5* perfect but that’s reflected in the price. It’s clean and that’s the main thing. Loved it loved it.
The pic is the view from the balcony.
If you ask for a room in the low 60s you get the best view and there’s nobody above your head.
My room was 63. It was perfect.

We arrived in Kremasti at approximately 2pm quickly emptied suitcases and decided to go for a walk. We walked along the beach to the bayside cafe/restaurant we were met by a really friendly lady, she took all 4 orders for drinks & food....omg it was delicious. We asked for the bill my husband got his card out to pay & the lady told me they only accept cash, we only had €20 on us the bill was €26 so my husband was going to run and find a ATM machine but the lady said no you can give it to me next time😳
We visited the next morning to give her €10
We have eaten here quite a few times now and the food and service is amazing
The owners are so welcoming and like to have a chat with you.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and, by luck, came across the taverna set on the grounds of the hotel and open to all. The taverna has the look and feel of a traditional greek taverna, and we were welcomed by friendly staff. The menu is small but varied, with traditional meals and snacks and a good range of wine, beers etc. We ordered a Greek salad, Tzatziki with Pita and a bottle of house white wine. The quality of the food was excellent, tasted fresh with large portions. House wine was also really good. Prices were very reasonable, and we were soon hooked by the friendliness of all the hard-working staff and the quality of the food. We visited at least one time each day of our holiday and soon became friends with Steve & Irene who in the main run the show. We enjoyed every meal we had, which you can see being cooked to order in the spotlessly clean kitchen. Next year we intend to return and stay in the hotel and enjoy more traditional greek food and hospitality.

I don't demand luxury but this is not a 4 star hotel, I would give it 2 stars.
Rooms are small and dirty, the daily cleaning is very basic, straighten the sheets and wipe the floor. All drawers, the clothes closet and nightstand were dusty and smelly.
The TV in the room is useless, a 17" or 20" screen from 4-6 meters away.
The kitchen tools, very old and dirty.
The balcony, the small table and seats were never cleaned.
Bathroom is small and dirty, nothing works as it should, the shower head was never cleaned and it licks in all directions, same with the sink floss. Towels were never changed for the duration of the stay.
Walls and doors are thin and you can hear everything and everyone.

Very friendly stuff and very good location, little family run restaurant we will never forget it. The food is made just on time and the portions are massive. The dishes are fresh and and very very tasty, and are not expensive. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a lovely memory!

Absolutely amazing little hotel. Clean and comfortable. Me and my son we’re treated so well on our quarantine stay, luckily at the end of our holiday!, staff couldn’t do enough and the food we received was amazing!, 3 meals a day delivered to the door. they put sun loungers out the front of room so we could at least sunbathe.
Considering the reason we were there, they made it bare able.
