Spent a week at the Bayside Hotel, the main selling point of this little hotel is the staff, they are warm, welcoming and very accommodating! The rooms have useful fridges, kettles and hobs, so if on a budget they are perfect for lunch in your room. The balcony was perfect at night. Free air on and little TVs. Taverna on site, gardens and own beach. Opposite is a little supermarket and only a 5 min walk to the bus stop to town and the airport. Lots of local restaurants I would recommend Canton and Rosemary in particular. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the pool area. It really does need a severe deep clean of all the grills and tiles and some chlorine popping in the pool, as it is building up green algae. At this time of year, at the end of season, not many people we’re swimming as too cold and windy, so I understand the need to cut costs on chlorine and filtration, but the pool area was really disappointing with a shut down bar, broken umbrellas and sun beds, and a dirty pool. It’s the selling point of the hotel with the raised bar and bridges, but it has lost its previous glam. However at £35 a night I imagine there isn’t much profit for renovation projects post pandemic so I appreciate its hard to find spare cash to invest in this area but it’s where I would put my focus on for 2023/2024 season.

The best thing about this place are the staff. The owner Nick was so helpful and serviceminded. Unfortunately the poolbar where closed when we where there but besides that it was a grest stay! Just next to the brach and close to a big grosserystore. My warmest rekomendations about this place.

We arrived late at night to be greeted by Nick the manager. He escorted us to our room, carrying our bags and showed us how to use the safe, which was free! We had room 28 on the ground floor which led directly to the pool area. The balcony had a sea view. The room was clean and maid came in daily. The hotel is quiet but ideal for relaxing, easy to get sun beds and has its own private beach with sun loungers and umbrella which are free to hotel guests. The beach as a lovely breeze for those who like a break from the heat. The bar serves food which is amazing with large portions, good quality and value for money. The cook, staff, Steve and Irene work very hard day and night in the Bar/restaurant and do there best to ensure everything is just as you like it. The hotel is family run and it makes a big difference as you are well looked after. We were two friends on holiday and although the area is quiet there’s bars/restaurants in walking distance and if you take a 10 min walk to the main road you’ll find a bus stop where buses run frequently into Rhodes Town stopping in Lalyssos, Ixia and other beautiful places. The bus into Rhodes takes about 20 mins and Costs €2.50, Taxis are cheap and Nick is happy to arrange taxi for you. We went into Faliraki one night which was €25 in taxi and took about 20 mins. We were sad to come home as we enjoyed our stay so much and cannot wait to return with our friends. Thanks Nick, Steve, Irene and rest of staff for making our week special. Love Michelle & Deana

Absolutely amazing little hotel. Clean and comfortable. Me and my son we’re treated so well on our quarantine stay, luckily at the end of our holiday!, staff couldn’t do enough and the food we received was amazing!, 3 meals a day delivered to the door. they put sun loungers out the front of room so we could at least sunbathe. Considering the reason we were there, they made it bare able.

First thing i want to say is that the chubby woman at reception was very rude throughout our stay, she tried to separate us when we first checked in and every time we asked her for something on the phone she would sigh and make us feel like we were a nuisance. she is a very poor addition to the hotel and i would recommend that she gets a different job as she doesn’t know the meaning of customer service. Food wasn’t nice at all but the manager went out of his way to order us a delivery every night and also bought us food from the supermarket on request. The wifi kept going off and we only had 1 bar signal throughout the whole ten days. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were rock solid, our backs are paying the price now. my hips are bruised both sides. the tv was the smallest tv i have ever seen in a hotel. we had to kill 3 cockroaches in the room also which made us sick. The best addition to this hotel is the manager and his brother who were very reassuring and helpful throughout our stay.

We arrived in Kremasti at approximately 2pm quickly emptied suitcases and decided to go for a walk. We walked along the beach to the bayside cafe/restaurant we were met by a really friendly lady, she took all 4 orders for drinks & food....omg it was delicious. We asked for the bill my husband got his card out to pay & the lady told me they only accept cash, we only had €20 on us the bill was €26 so my husband was going to run and find a ATM machine but the lady said no you can give it to me next time😳 We visited the next morning to give her €10 We have eaten here quite a few times now and the food and service is amazing The owners are so welcoming and like to have a chat with you.

Stayed at a nearby hotel and found the restaurant to be a real gem. Not many options in the area so we were lucky to find this place. Irene and Stavros were super welcoming and so good with the kids. They made our holiday that bit more special. Food was amazing and very well priced.
