We spent here for a night in our 6 days stay in Saariselka. Nice clean reception, restaurants, sauna & shower areas. The glass igloo at the West Village is bigger than what we expected. We had the Best night of our Arctic stay with Great...More

The excursion companies supply you with the clothing but you really don't need the whole shebang it actually gets really hot in those suits. Just layer up and have some good boots and you'll be absolutely fine. Even in -7 at night time on an excursion we were sweating in them! I wouldn't recommend sept /oct for the lights .. I think they say from November - April is the best time. And we stayed in this resort for 2 nights which was enough for us. We also stayed in a place nearby for 2 nights and after those 4 days felt like we had done it all x
