This was our 4th stay in Lapland. We decided to try the cabins for a change, rather than one of the big hotels. Simply stunning and just as magical as before. The cabins are beautiful but you wouldn't be disappointed in any of the accommodation in Saariselka. Be warned though, it is very expensive to eat and drink out but... More

We stayed at this place for 4 nights with 2 friends. The chalet is perfect for 4 people, although it could accommodate 6 to 8 people. Inside : There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bedroom in mezzanine. The beds are not very large (130cm) but this is not an issue for us. In the living room, there is a fire... More

We stayed at Saariselka at feb 2105, and stayed for 2 nights at Saariselka Inn Log Cabin. The cabin is around 10 mins walk from the city center, while we check-in at Panimo, be reminded that the log cabins is self-catering, you need to pay extra 5 euros to get the bed sheets. It is a good experience for living... More

We've been to Finnish Lapland many times and would certainly recommend a log cabin over a hotel. It's cheaper, quieter, prettier and you can chose the timing of your meals. Most of the hotels will offer you their unique facilities (indoor pool, etc.) for a small fee. Inghams offer a choice of 4-star and 3-star log cabins. The former are... More

We stayed in a log cabin in the hill above Saariselka which is owned independently but let to Inghams / Lapland holidays. It was right at the top of the Suopunkitie loop road, so 20 minute walk from the town centre, but it was so worth it. We were expecting a much smaller cabin with ladder style steps to the... More

We booked with santas Lapland and stayed in a cabin for three nights. The cabin was amazing. And the host Anna couldn't do enough for us. If you book you won't be disappointed. Best family holiday ever and the magical day was spectacular. The santas Lapland staff were all full of beans and busted added to the magic.

Please note although this is a similar address the cabin we stayed in did not look like this please see my photos. We stayed here with Thompson for 3 nights, and although you do not have the benefits of a hotel such as room service, or on hand amenities this gives you a altogether different experience an in my opinion... We stayed at log cabins with the address of saariselka 10, also called panimo lodge - which is where we paid for the room and got the 'key' for it...... The beds were very comfortable and the room was warm, extra blankets and pillows were in the cupboard. Free Wifi in bar area only. The room was compact and clean... More
