Went there for a snorkeling trip, when I got the island, the boatman organized the payment for entrance fee. But then I merely stayed on the island for 5mins. And our boat was asked to leave the port. We cant even find a good place to snorkel because the boats are everywhere, and we got nowhere to dock. Just went... More

Great area for snorkelling. Was on this island whilst island hopping in the Philippines. Perfect isolated island and plenty of fish to see when snorkelling, despite the small area only allowed for snorkelling. Would definitely recommend!!

I am just back from the island and I'm already missing it. I completely agree with the review from llwkali below: this island is the best kept secret in Cebu. Don't stay in Mactan (too polluted), instead take a boat (40 min) to the Nalusuan Island Marine Resort where you will truly enjoy the best of what the Philippines can... More

I selected this place because it has a marine sanctuary and was supposed to have good snorkeling. I had trouble booking as I got no response to online inquiries; eventually I got a response via email and made a reservation for an overwater bungalow. We arranged a pickup as well, flying to Cebu, taking a taxi to Nalusuan Pier and... More

Pictures online are so edited. The island doesn't really look great. Entrance Fee of PHP200 is over!! We were not allowed to take our foods from the boat. So we decided to go snorkeling on the sanctuary. My partner almost drowned and so we leave the island immediately. We wasted our money going there. My dad did not even have... More

We stayed at the Nalusuan Island Resort in April 2016 for 4 nights and we truly enjoyed each day. First off, the island is a tiny place in the middle of a gorgeous marine park area. There are 14 rooms so its never overly crowded (at night) and the water and views are gorgeous. If you are the type of... More

Nalusuan has been on top of our list to visit. The reviews and photos are convincing enough to put it on top of our "places to visit". Before you proceed with your tour here, make sure that you visit this place during high tide. It is a very depressing place when the tide is low. If you want to go... More

We stayed at this resort mainly for the chance to relax. Rooms over the water, great snorkeling off the pier and nice little restaurant. The trip to the island using their own boat was a little difficult as the location for departure is poorly signposted and a bit hit and miss for the poor taxi drivers.Again when we departed we... The people are actually very nice, but it´s very difficult to understand their way of thinking. We have been there for three nights including breakfast, they charged us for the same bottle of wine every day a different price, but that was still ok and actually quit funny. We took every morning a fruit platter which they charged extra, ok... More
