The pictures look great on the internet but once you got in, it is different. No WiFi, TV is very old that can’t even play Netflix, swimming pool is very old and shape like penis. Luckily it is close to the beach but you have to cross the road to a small beach. Sea water was good that you can swim. Breakfast is at the lowest cost thus quality. Can’t even drink coffee. Parking space is difficult to move the car in and out.
My partner and myself stayed at the resort twice during August 2020 the 1st & 2nd and again 8th to 12th, this resort is a budget resort and offers great service, breakfast and accommodation for the money are Excellent. Both of us are well travelled and after our first visit we came back again to stay longer. The swimming pools are good for all age children as they start with the shallow pool and go up in depth. Our rooms on both visits overlooked the swimming pool and across to the ocean, each room had a balcony and chairs, the rooms are big and the bed offered a good sleep, from the room to the dinning room and reception area is undercover so no problem if it should be wet. The breakfast is good and serves both Thai and Western food, my partner is Thai so we were able to try both, service and food were excellent. From the resort you can walk across the road to the ocean and stroll along the walkway and at night it is an easy walk up the road to the night markets, the shops in the town are a 5 minute drive and the sea food restaurants you can drive down the road as they are close. We will be staying at the resort again as we both enjoyed our time there and have recommended it to our friends when they want a relaxing time away.…
The hotel has a great location close to the beach and has potential not fulfilled. It's very dated and you notice it's not updated to the needs of today's travelers. Where can I charge my mobile? Disconnect the plug from the fat TV or the fridge? The breakfast room has a great view but was messy. It took us 3 times to toast some bread before we could catch the bread in the air before they landed on the floor.
Looked great when we booked on the internet but it didn't live up to the expectations Very slow wifi The tv was from the 20th century and the satellite reception terrible Liked the pool area but not the "bug spraying" One of the reasons we booked Bacchus was the gym.... But it was "closed"
I'm confirmed that this is a very old resort without any renovation and not so cleanliness, bathroom and towel are not comfort and there has some insect in night time. But compare with the price , it 's look like more expensive but swimming pool and breakfast are quite OK. The beach is very deep and heavy wave, so they can swim at the beach, or not ?
First of all reviews and photos online quite deceiving. This is a very old resort which probably used to be great many years ago but nothing has been done over the years so it's a little 'loveless'. I shall name a few pros and cons: Pro: - Very good price for 2 interconnecting rooms for a family of 4 - nice pool - clean - Good firm bed -Free wifi Cons: - beach non existent now (digger etc) - rooms very basic and no kettle but asked for one then got one on loan and bought our own tea and coffee -price list in room for all items in case you break them gives out a negative vibe - unwelcoming reception and staff generally not very friendly at all - especially for being Thailand! Everywhere else much friendlier! - wifi very sporadic Breakfast (valued at 350 THB) is one of the worst we've had. Choice of American or Asian plate, supplemented by toast and jam and awful tea (looked and tasted like it had Brewed all night). Fried eggs were still jelly-ish, so were the soft-boiled ones. All In all definitely not AT ALL worth 350baht. Our son threw up immediately after it but one can't be sure it was from that. He was, however, fine for the rest of the day. The sausage looked awful-I didn't dare eat it due to its dubious colour. What a shame about this resort, so much could be done about this. Starting with showing effort and a positive attitude to guests when they arrive- we got charged for the entire week upfront which I also can't say I ever had to do unless I booked through a third party! …
This hotel is valuable for money but just for basic stay n pls do not expect for perfect condition. Good location near the beach, nice pool, abf ok, no lift then a bit tied for walk up. Room looked old, hot water not work, noisy at night from party with children noise. Here valuable your cost not much expensive.
This hotel was booked by a Thai friend at a rate of 50% of the published rate. At the price we paid ($70 US per night), this was a somewhat of bargain, but the full rate seems abnormally high for this area. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were helpful, attentive and courteous. They have a very nice pool and the hotel is just across the road from an extremely clean and, at the time, unpopulated beach. The hotel staff moved lounges and an umbrella to the beach for our use and also brought us towels. The hotel restaurant served a nice breakfast and also had nice variety of foods on the regular menu. Wifi was better than average. I would like to rate this property higher, but I don't think the coast is commensurate with what one receives.
Stay here for company trip one night. I like the beach in front of the hotel. The beach still clean and quiet. Really recommended for people who want to relax. But It's quite far from Hua-Hin down town. No convenient store nearby but you can rent a bicycle to cycling around the area.
Stayed for 4 days while we visited the area and lazed around. Managed to get a discount, otherwise would not have been happy with the rates. Very spacious room, liked the balcony overlooking the pool - had a table & chairs where we lounged. Room was relatively spartan, but functional - slept well, it was clean and covered our needs. Restaurant was OK for breakfast, but not sumptuous (by Thai standards?!). Weekend breakfast buffet had plenty of selections, however. Pool was also good - big, clean, quiet and nice for a bit of suntanning and swimming. Wireless internet only reached the open-air lobby area, not to the bedrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. This village is not a busy tourist place, rather a sleepy fishing area - lots & lots of squid, so stock up on bags of it if you like the stuff!…
