4. Mykonos Blanc
Stars by the Ice Bucket Full
Initially, I thought the hotel and restaurant were expensive. But I was soon persuaded to modify my view, seduced by the quality and immaculate level of service.
It all started with a complimentary passion fruit drink. Followed by several more over our stay. It became ‘our’ drink! 😊
We ate in the restaurant our last night. Yes it was expensive compared with other island restaurants.
But it was really fantastic and a delicious end to our Island Hopping adventure.
Our room was small in comparison to other hotel rooms but very comfortable. We especially enjoyed our private courtyard.
The only downside there was limited storage.
The location is the best, on the best side of the island with protection from the prevailing winds and the cruise ships.
The beach was so good with beautiful clear water and lots of recliners, we didn’t use the pool.
We found everyone in Greece very hospitable, the staff took our stay to another level.
Our towels were placed on our recliners and a bucket of ice with complimentary bottled water placed on a table between us.
It doesn’t get better than this.

Just back from a fabulous 2 week family holiday at this wonderful hotel, can’t praise it enough! From the minute we arrived we were amazingly looked after. As a family of four with a 16 & 14 year old daughter the family & friends suite was brilliant, both rooms had plenty of space with the downstairs room having a good sized terrace with jacuzzi & the upstairs with large balcony with gorgeous views to the sea. Perfect!

For us what made this hotel is the wonderful personal service & the fact that every member of staff went out Of their way to make our holiday special. The hotel & grounds are spotless, all staff work extremely hard from the guy constantly cleaning the toilets & communal outside space to the restaurant/bar to the beach & pool staff. Special mention to:
Neil (Concierge/guest manager) who was fantastic helping us organise car hire, trips & generally making sure our stay was enjoyable
Irini & Chris in the restaurant
Falak on the beach & by pool
And last but not least the amazing young guy that sorted our beds & umbrella every day, he does not stop all day & is a credit to the hotel (unfortunately we didn’t get his name).
The food in the restaurant is delicious with a fabulous buffet breakfast & plenty of choice on the menu if you want lunch or dinner there.
There was never an issue with sun beds with plenty of choice either by the pool or directly on beautiful Ornos beach, the hotel gives guests their own section directly on the beach. The gym is a good size with couple of treadmills, bikes & a cross trainer particularly liked the view out to the sea whilst on treadmill.
The hotel is fabulously located in Ornos within walking distance to Buddha bar, also the bus stop to Mykonos town is literally outside the hotel. We were very sad to leave & will definitely stay there again when we return to Mykonos. Thank you Mykonos Blanc for an amazing holiday! 5* all the way!

Absolutely 5 star in every way! Our friends and family suite was jaw-droppingly gorgeous, with plenty of room for our family of 4 and lots of indoor and outdoor spaces in which to relax. 24/7 room service was prompt and delicious. The upstairs shower was unique and extraordinary. Breakfast buffet was quite a treat, with chocolate cake that my daughter said was the best she’s ever had. Guests at the resort have access to beds at the beach at no additional charge, with attentive service. We really couldn’t recommend this resort more highly. Irini helped us at the front desk and at the restaurant and was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a great stay! We’d love to come back!

Fabulous hotel - From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcomed. The airport transfer was quick with ice cold water waiting for us. The staff cannot do enough for you and are extremely efficient. While sunbathing on the beach they bring you bottled water and an ice bucket full of ice every day and watermelon during the day which are lovely touches. The sunbeds are very comfy and there’s plenty of choice and all come with umbrellas should you prefer shade. Other hotels in the Ornos area are currently charging guests for sunbed use. Mykonos Blanc sunbeds are free of charge to all hotel guests. Fabulous choice at the buffet breakfast. Everywhere is extremely clean with sanitizer gel on all tables in the restaurant and in reception. The hotel is situated in a fabulous location with a handy, well stocked supermarket just a 5 minute walk away. There are some lovely restaurants in Ornos that are worth a visit. Just outside the hotel there is a bus stop where you can catch a bus to Mykonos town for €1.80 each way. My husband misplaced some swim shorts on our last day which we thought had got mixed up with the laundry, Neil, the concierge, took responsibility and located and returned them to us to our delight. We weren’t expecting to see them again! Thank you Neil. I am a very fussy customer and I couldn’t find a fault, especially from Irini, Giannis and Neil. We will most definitely be back for another fabulous holiday.

Loved this hotel so much and particularly the friends& family suite that has a nice little backyard with jacuzzi and a balcony with beach view on the second floor. It was divine. Quality furnishings and fixtures, Acqua du Parma bath toiletteries, turn-down in the evening. Service is impeccable, it is clear staff are well trained and polished in high-end resort service even though this is a small hotel. Loungers are included for hotel guests, beach staff are there to lay the towels for you and bring ice bucket with bottled cold water. Breakfast had a good variety, it's lovely to enjoy the beach view while having your morning coffee.
Also loved Ornos Beach - water is beautiful but also enjoyed the view of the myriad boats and yachts in the bay.
We've been to our share of high end resorts (Four Seasons Bora Bora/ Mauritius, Burj AL Arab, Six Senses etc) and I know good when I see it. Will come here again next time in Mykonos.

We have been traveling for a few weeks now and the Mykonos Blanc was a pleasant surprise. It was the first property that I felt so at ease and had all the comforts that a true vacation should feel like. The front desk called us while we were in another island to arrange a courtesy transportation to the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and a very generous size. The bed was so dreamy and the entire hotel had a pleasant calming aroma. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant and beachside service. They also provided a courtesy airport transfer upon our departure. I would definitely recommend!

We have been to Mykonos a few times and stayed in some pretty great places. Our favourite by far is Mykonos Blanc. This trip we spent a week there and then came back at the end of our holidays (visited another island) and extended for another 3 days. The location, facilities and the service were amazing. The gym was also terrific, new equipment and great quality. We really felt like we were coming home on our second visit and made to feel very special. A big thanks to everyone esp George by the pool, Talek (sorry on spelling!) Takis, Irina and Lydia !

Second time to this lovely hotel. Room, amenities, staff and food were all top notch. We stayed in room 229….. same as last time and would highly recommend. Beautiful views of pool and beach. Ornos is a great town away from the hustle and hustle of Mykonos town. Lots of restaraunts along the beautiful beach to choose from with an amazing local taverna 2 min away called Mpatholies. Would highly recommend if you want a traditional, low cost meal. Bus stop is right outside and easy to use to get into town for 1.80/ 7 min. Max. Lovely beach to swim with quality beach chairs adjacent to the pool.
Big shout out to the beach manager Falak and his team….. amazing service throughout the day. We couldn’t say enough about how well took care of us.

Great experience overall!!

The location is amazing. Right on the beach but a handful of restaurants, 2 bakeries, and a small grocery in walking distance.
The service was impeccable, we are used to Europe have not the greatest customer service, but this place was 5 star. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and helpful.
When you go to the beach they will guide you to a set of very comfy lounge chairs with an umbrella and proceed to bring you a complimentary bottle of water with roasted almonds or watermelon.
The only problem we had was the very last morning the breaker popped at least 15 times (even though we had nothing plugged in). But not that big of a deal since it was only the last morning.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. They picked us up with a private shuttle (with such a nice driver). Gave us a special room and sent up a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit platter.
I'm not sure when will make it back but I can guarantee we will be coming back here one day.

Is it worth it to pay extra for junior suite? Or just get the basic garden view room?
Answer from XeniaSoprano
Athens Greece1 contribution
Hello the Junior Suites Garden have a direct access to the pool and beach, whereas the double rooms are in the upper floor and offer a view from above. It totally depends on what you want. The junior suite offers the convienience of accessing the pool from your room, in just a few steps. With compliments, Xenia Kaponi

The distance is not walkable but the hotel might help you with shuttle. You can rent near the hotel scooter/Vespa etc.... I think it dose not worth renting the car for few times just get to the city unless you want to go for touring.
