We spent 2wks at Gelos House beginning of Sept and throughly enjoyed our time there. As previous reviews say everyone at Gelos go out of their way to be helpful and are very friendly. Our room ( room 6) had the most amazingly comfy king size bed, and we could have had a party in our shower it was so big! The rooms were spotless and facilities were great, the small kitchenette had everything you needed. Our balcony had views over the kite surfing beach (great to watch the surfers) and Mykonos town, it was lovely watching the cruise ships come & go, & seeing them all lit up at night. To sum up, we would be back in a heartbeat, from the owner, to Katerina who ran things so well and the ladies who worked tirelessly to keep the whole place to perfection we say a big thankyou for making our stay on your beautiful island so enjoyable, Olwyn & Gary xx

I stayed at Gelos House for 2 weeks in the middle of August. The location is very convenient, right next to Korfos beach, very popular with Kite serfers, and less than 5 mins drive away for the Chora of Mykonos and 3 mins walk to the popular Ornos beach. The apartments are very well designed, extremely spacious and super clean!! A very nice pool is located at the bar area with a very comfortable sofa bed! Nikolas and Katerina, the owners, and also the other staff, are really unique people, very kind and helpful truly what Greek hospitality is famous for..!! They will cater to every need the guest will have and are a true asset to help you go around the island and find whatever you are looking for..! All and all a truly magnificent place to relax and spend your holiday in Mykonos, close to everything you may need! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody, and cant wait to come back very soon!! Thank you very much Nikolas and Katerina for everything and a wonderful time we had in your warm house..!!

We stayed as a family of 4, all adults , lovely clean comfortable rooms, air con great, shower fab, we were in room 6 lovely balcony. Katrina and the fabulous bar man, the manager and cleaners , all lovely people and on a very pretentious island that the lovely Mykonos has become, were all a breath of fresh air. If you visit Stay at Gelos house , made our holiday. The area is good for beach and food, but no night life as such, you need the town. By car bus bike about 10 mins away. We found buses ran when they wanted, never on time. We flagged taxis down, but we never could book one, was a problem. Hired a car, but a bit hairy driving in built up areas. Bars and restaurants in town could be rip offs, have to be aware of where you go. Still had a fab week.

Stayed for a week end May 22 with Jet 2 holidays. Lovely little complex with superb staff. The cleaner works relentlessly and as result the place is spotless !! Pool area is beautiful BUT there is absolutely no shade other than if you sit on hard dining type chairs next to the bar. I think 2 or 3 parasols might be needed for us Brits. It certainly stopped us using the area as much as we might have - and spending at the bar. The bar man is brilliant, so obliging. We were in room 9. It was fine but no outdoor space attached to the room so if you wanted a coffee outside then you have to take it a short distance to a table and chair set on a small raised up area. It made eating out difficult as you had to keep taking food to the table then back for me etc. also there was a cat hanging around which made me nervous of leaving food even for a moment. In addition we were just sat facing someone else’s balcony. This meant we didn’t sit out as much as we usually do. No bread knife in the room so attempts at cutting crusty bread with a small knife were interesting !! Air conditioning was fab. Location brilliant. Opposite a great beach where you can lay your towel down and watch kite surfers. 3 mins from main beach which is amazing but expensive. 70 euros for a sunbed for the day !! Bakery is 24 hour and is superb 1 min away along with the supermarket. Bus to Mykonos town is every other just across the road and takes 10 mins for 1.80 euro. So pleased we stayed in ornos and travelled into town as we had best of both worlds !!

Stayed for 2 nights in jun with 5 friends, got picked up by owner's father at the port and he's very friendly and helpful. The staffs let us choose from different suites as we are a large group!! They are very accommodating and offer help every time we needed. I strongly recommend to stay here as it is close to beach, and only 5-10 mins bus to town. Supermarket is 3 mins walk and restaurants are always available to choose from! Beds are comfy and wifi is excellent :)

Katerina will pick you up at the airport or port and in 10 mins you are at the gelos house! Just 3 mins walking from the beautiful Ornos beach and 10 mins by bus from Mykonos town! The rooms are nice and clean and, every day, the room service will cleanup the room and change all the towels! Can't tell anything bad about the place, just remember that the place is windy!

We stayed with our family and another couple for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! Nick and Katerina and their staff were so lovely and accommodating we couldn’t have asked for more. The location is also terrific at Ornos with a beautiful serviced beach nearby. The accommodation was lovely and the pool area spectacular! Thank you for an amazing stay, we can’t wait to visit again.

Right from the beginning, we loved the look of this place! It was located in a central corner of Ornos but the walls were thick so you could not hear the noise of the street. The hotel is within 3-4 minutes walk from two beaches - one facing North and one South. The hostess Elena was very friendly and offered us a very complete welcome with ideas to travel, ATV rental, and directions to restaurants/bars.
We particularly liked the fact that the city was removed from the noise and tourism of big Mykonos party beaches/clubs but close enough by ATV that you could visit them all!
The rooms were comfortable with good AC, fresh towels and a little kitchenette and we were even given a bottle of Greek wine and snacks for free! At the end of our stay, Nico the driver was kind enough to take us to the port for our departure with last-minute notice. Everyone here was so friendly!!!
All in, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy, cute little spot away from the bustle and club music!
