We recently spent our honeymoon at Kensho, and have no regrets! The staff at Kensho are all so friendly and helpful. They’re truly a credit to the hotel, and were a real stand out of our stay here. Also the breakfast?! Absolutely incredible - we felt spoilt for choice and everything was so delicious. We also both had a massage at the spa which was one of the best we’ve had. The decor of the hotel is boho chic and modern, everything is kept extremely clean and you get lovely products to use in your rooms too which is a really nice touch. Would highly recommend a room with a hot tub during autumn, as it meant we could full enjoy the sunshine without getting too chilly. The only things that left us very slightly disappointed was that they don’t offer anything for couples on honeymoon, which is something most hotels will do - even if it’s just something simple. You only celebrate your honeymoon once so it would have been nice to have it acknowledged in some way. We mentioned it before we arrived, and to a reception staff member while there. We also noticed that when other people arrived they were offered a tour and a neck massage, while we were not which was a bit of a shame. But overall I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re wanting a relaxed hotel with great service and beautiful views!…
I came to this hotel after having a disappointing experience at Mykonos Blu. To be clear- this is my third time in Mykonos and I have stayed in numerous 5 star hotels on the island. It is much smaller (about 35 rooms) but all of the rooms have total privacy from other guests aside from the pool facing rooms. The pool is quite small but the chairs are very comfortable and I was always able to get a seat. The ladies are kind at check in and the neck message was a bonus. The rooms are nicely decorated and the Hermes products are a nice touch. My only complaint is that a luxury hotel should not be serving Lipton teas please, especially after the breakfast is finished and they charge 6 euros. However the breakfast was included and very nice with a large menu. The all day dining needs some more options. The driver for the hotel is very kind and the car is a Range Rover, not an old shuttle bus like other hotels. Also the bellman is very kind as well as all of the staff in the hotel. Service was decently quick as well and the hotel wasn’t too noisy (there are no clubs nearby to keep you awake). I would definitely come back!…
I actually loved this hotel and would proudly return. I found it searching online through an edit off Mr and Mrs Smith and didn't know much going in. I wasn't sure what it would be like, but it ended up being fantastic. Firstly, the service was magnificent. They made all of the reservations we wanted at all of the relevant places; they offered to arrange for a rental car from the hotel, which is much easier than Mykonos airport; and they even set up a car pick-up from the ferry (which is difficult to get a cab and generally obnoxious). The food was sensational, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were fantastic. It was worth it to pay a little more for a nicer room with a hot tub and view right off of the pool area, but everything we needed was set and it was a great crowd of people. It was quiet enough that it almost felt like your own villa, but with excellent service. The breakfasts each day were a feast and the cocktails were as good as anything we had at Noema, Skorpios or any other place on the island. I think we were the only Americans there and the crowd was generally discerning, discreet and relaxed. The bed, linens, Hermes bath products and room layout were great, the location was wonderful and I would proudly stay there in the future. We also tried the spa and the quality of the massage was excellent and well-priced. I am not one to write reviews, but I would proudly recommend the hotel and will return there on our next trip to Mykonos.…
An absolutely fabulous hotel. Great location for Ornos beach (literally down the hill and you're there) along with restaurants and bus links to other parts of the island. The service is absolutely top notch, they couldn't do more for you. Restaurant assistant manager Paris, along with Abola & Nancy served us the most and they were so friendly and helpful. The room itself was also lovely (yes it's all relatively open plan so expect that), very clean & tidy Can't wait to come back!
A great boutique hotel, everything about our 4 day stay was 5 star. The perfect place to spend some quality time relaxing. The rooms, staff (all very helpful, polite), great service by the team from the moment we arrived to when we left. Nothing was an issue. Great selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including tasting menus. The food was complimented by some great wines and very good cocktails!!! Will certainly come back again.
Where to start from.... The excellent and warm welcome from the smiling and kind staff of the reception and the complimentary relaxing massage during check in from the spa team, exceeded my expectations, even though it’s my second time visiting Kensho. We chose the same room as last year since we prefer total privacy. This year the restaurant and its team surprised us even more since the standards have reached an even higher level and the change in the a la carte menu is very refined but also very Greek. We tried the spa again and it was superb as always with probably the best massage I have ever had. The breakfast even more better with a nice choice and best quality. Finally.... on departure all the people there....to say “goodbye see you next summer”... offering us the unique Kensho bracelet, as a great gesture to remember Kensho. How can we forget you??? We can’t wait to go back!! Thank all for our memorable stay!!!…
If you're lucky enough to find a room in this boutique hotel, don't waste it. It is simply spectacular. I have travelled the world and it will be hard to top the completeness of this hotel. From the moment you step in the reception, the welcoming staff, the interior design with the finest details, the services and the quality of food, and the stunning location and the sea view will just make it the prefect place, don't bother looking anywhere else if you find a room. Just brilliant elegance.
My partner and I stayed for four nights. It was a wonderful experience as soon as we entered. A welcome drink and a 5 minute neck massage before checking in. That was an experience and so begins a relaxing time ahead. Our room was spacious, modern and extremely clean. A comfortable bed, coffee machine and beautiful bathroom amenities. We couldn’t ask for more. The food was an experience. We had a beautiful view while indulging in gourmet food. Breakfast was top quality. The whole atmosphere of Kensho is relaxing, a lot of that is due to the staff. They couldn’t be more helpful and were there to help with anything you need. Shout out also to the bar man making the cocktails, they were flavours I will never forget! I highly recommend Kensho and can’t wait to return!
The hotel was very beautiful and comfortable!! The location was nice, with a magnificent view! The room was elegant and classy! The room service was very kind and attentive!! We tasted breakfast and lunch which were delicious!! The waitress ms Nancy who served us was very kind and helpful!! We also visited the spa where ms Mary gave us her services! The experience was great!
Recently stayed at Kensho for 7 nights and overall had a lovely stay. The good stuff! - The staff are AMAZING, they will do anything for you are so nice and really make you feel like nothing is a problem. Nancy in particular at breakfast is so lovely. - I have been fortunate to stay at many quality hotels and I have to say the breakfast is like nothing I’ve ever had, it’s incredible. The chefs, the staff, the whole experience was the best and we looked forward to it every day. - When we arrived we were given a lovely welcome cocktail and two biscuit sweet things which was a lovely touch. The not so great stuff.. - Everything is extremely expensive at the hotel. I know you usually pay more but this was a lot more. A coffee or soft drink €7, a classic cocktail €25, when just down the road in the town you can get them for half the prices, which is a real shame as it kind of feels like they are doing it just because they can otherwise we would have enjoyed more at the hotel around the pool. - The zen room is extremely small, we were lucky that there was a bad noise that appeared after 2 nights and we were upgraded with no questions asked and we were so lucky as the other room had no natural light, the shower was virtually in the middle of the room and there was no draws / barely any storage space. If we would of had to stay in this room I feel like we wouldn’t have enjoyed our stay nearly as much - The pool area is nice, but quite small and is mainly very shallow Overall our experience was lovely and we had a relaxing week away. Thank you to all the staff for doing everything to make the stay effortless.…
