I actually loved this hotel and would proudly return. I found it searching online through an edit off Mr and Mrs Smith and didn't know much going in. I wasn't sure what it would be like, but it ended up being fantastic. Firstly, the service was magnificent. They made all of the reservations we wanted at all of the relevant places; they offered to arrange for a rental car from the hotel, which is much easier than Mykonos airport; and they even set up a car pick-up from the ferry (which is difficult to get a cab and generally obnoxious). The food was sensational, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were fantastic. It was worth it to pay a little more for a nicer room with a hot tub and view right off of the pool area, but everything we needed was set and it was a great crowd of people. It was quiet enough that it almost felt like your own villa, but with excellent service. The breakfasts each day were a feast and the cocktails were as good as anything we had at Noema, Skorpios or any other place on the island. I think we were the only Americans there and the crowd was generally discerning, discreet and relaxed. The bed, linens, Hermes bath products and room layout were great, the location was wonderful and I would proudly stay there in the future. We also tried the spa and the quality of the massage was excellent and well-priced. I am not one to write reviews, but I would proudly recommend the hotel and will return there on our next trip to Mykonos.

I know that Mykonos has a ton of options for lodging but once you know about Kensho you'll know that there is no reason to look any further. From the time that you enter Kensho treats you like royalty. You are given a cool towel and welcome drink and their custom incense aroma invites you to relax immediately. Much of the decor at the property are custom touches and you literally feel the Japanese influence throughout the entire property. I loved the attention to detail by each staff member. There is a yoga space for meditation. There is a rooftop area for cocktails and swimming. The spa is absolutely amazing. They have a cave spa that is one of the best in the world and what I loved about the spa is that you can reserve the cave area just for yourself and/or your travel mate. The rooms are spacious and either have a jacuzzi or private plunge pool. The food is thoughtfully prepared by chefs and the wait staff are very knowledgeable and inform you on each dish that you order (thanks Abeola and Paris)! Kensho is a place that you'll never want to leave and once you experience it you will understand why.

I came to this hotel after having a disappointing experience at Mykonos Blu. To be clear- this is my third time in Mykonos and I have stayed in numerous 5 star hotels on the island. It is much smaller (about 35 rooms) but all of the rooms have total privacy from other guests aside from the pool facing rooms. The pool is quite small but the chairs are very comfortable and I was always able to get a seat. The ladies are kind at check in and the neck message was a bonus. The rooms are nicely decorated and the Hermes products are a nice touch. My only complaint is that a luxury hotel should not be serving Lipton teas please, especially after the breakfast is finished and they charge 6 euros. However the breakfast was included and very nice with a large menu. The all day dining needs some more options.

The driver for the hotel is very kind and the car is a Range Rover, not an old shuttle bus like other hotels. Also the bellman is very kind as well as all of the staff in the hotel. Service was decently quick as well and the hotel wasn’t too noisy (there are no clubs nearby to keep you awake). I would definitely come back!

I loved everything about this stunning hotel.
The location is ideal - far enough from 24hour Mykonos town and all the clubbing hotspots to be a true oasis of calm, but close enough for you to access all of these at the drop of a hat, whenever you want and as much as your taxi budget will allow (this isn’t the hotel’s fault, it’s the reality of getting around Mykonos).
The food is excellent.
The service is exceptional - staff are professional, attentive, warm and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you are well looked after. Mila in customer relations, you’ve been amazing. Athanasia and all the restaurant staff, compliments on your service.
My room was cool and spacious, had a wonderfully comfortable bed with cool pristine sheets and was immaculately cleaned every day.
The massage I had in the spa was, to my surprise, one of the best massages I have every had..

Thank you Kensho Ornos. I will miss waking up to your Greek yoghurt and honey, smooth creamy cappuccino and warm greeting of the breakfast staff. I’ll miss the light shimmering off your small but beautifully designed pool; your inventive menu; late night cocktails on the terrace with chill sounds and beautiful romantic views.
I can’t wait to return.

My fiance reserved Kensho as a design lover and the hotel is amazing from every aspect.
Arriving past midnight check in was smooth and easy. The night auditor helped us with our luggage and escorted to our room which was amazing!
We loved the decorate into our double shower as well every single spot inside and outside of our room.
The hotel is located in a very good location, Ornos, with beautiful view.
All the staff was kind and friendly. Can't thanks enough Mrs. Vicky the manager who asked for our feedback and so willing to make our vacation time memorable.
Having spoken to the restaurant managers Pasq & Paris who are always around talking to guests and ensuring everything is up to standard. They do really aim to get everything perfect and if it isn't they want to know about it to be able to put it right for you.
Overall an amazing stay, highly recommend for anyone wanting to go , chill out, eat amazing food and be spoilt.

We have stayed in 15+ boutique hotels over past 3.5 years and this hotel has been our best experience of all.

Service. The staff is the kindest, most attentive hotel, spa and dining staff we have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. On a scale of 1 to 10 they have been at 15.

Design. Design is subjective but we found the designers/architects work extraordinary. Best lighting fixtures, unique furniture pieces and every room has a unique layout (we stayed in 2 different rooms). Love the shower that is the centerpiece of each room.

Spa. The spa/wellness cave was incredible. One must try as it is one of a kind and very relaxing. We just spent 3 weeks in Bali experiencing 25+ hours of Balinese massage and my girlfriend mentioned she believes he massage therapist was better than everyone she experienced in Bali which was her best wellness experience so far.

Food. The chef for the in-house restaurant is genius. His lobster linguini was the best lobster pasta I have ever eaten as well as the fried langoustines. Breakfast is a custom, gourmet event every morning - the beignets are a must try. For dinners, the cost was half of the restaurants we ate at in town.

Because we own a small boutique hotel in Southern California we like to stay 2 days at hotel only and move to another so we can learn and experience as we travel. But we ended up leaving and returning to this hotel mid-stay because it was difficult to step down from the luxury, service and culinary experience we had during our time here.

I wish I have the patience and time to call out every amazing staff member but honestly I would list everyone from Nancy, Paris, the front desk staff, drivers, bellman, chef, waiters, spa to the general manager who checked in with us numerous times to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

If you're lucky enough to find a room in this boutique hotel, don't waste it. It is simply spectacular. I have travelled the world and it will be hard to top the completeness of this hotel. From the moment you step in the reception, the welcoming staff, the interior design with the finest details, the services and the quality of food, and the stunning location and the sea view will just make it the prefect place, don't bother looking anywhere else if you find a room. Just brilliant elegance.

We recently spent our honeymoon at Kensho, and have no regrets! The staff at Kensho are all so friendly and helpful. They’re truly a credit to the hotel, and were a real stand out of our stay here.

Also the breakfast?! Absolutely incredible - we felt spoilt for choice and everything was so delicious.

We also both had a massage at the spa which was one of the best we’ve had.

The decor of the hotel is boho chic and modern, everything is kept extremely clean and you get lovely products to use in your rooms too which is a really nice touch.

Would highly recommend a room with a hot tub during autumn, as it meant we could full enjoy the sunshine without getting too chilly.

The only things that left us very slightly disappointed was that they don’t offer anything for couples on honeymoon, which is something most hotels will do - even if it’s just something simple. You only celebrate your honeymoon once so it would have been nice to have it acknowledged in some way. We mentioned it before we arrived, and to a reception staff member while there.

We also noticed that when other people arrived they were offered a tour and a neck massage, while we were not which was a bit of a shame.

But overall I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re wanting a relaxed hotel with great service and beautiful views!

We have our holiday booked, flights, dog sitters, time off work etc etc etc and 4 weeks before they email us to say they aren't ready and will be closed.
Obviously do not care a jot about clients.
To be honest I didn't fancy it anyway as it looks so ungenuinely fake Greek, my girlfriend booked it and I cancelled the other family run hotel which is more my style.
So beware they just want your money and Instagram photos.
Poncey and totally ungenuine.
The absolute opposite of the Greece I love..and have been going to the cyclades for over 30 years.
About time trip adviser had minus points and couldnt post this without a one star rating.
Disgusting.

Kudos to the chef of the hotel both in Ornos and Psarou where we dinned twice. One of the tastiest dinners I ever had in my life combined with amazing cocktails and chill out music! It is better to stay away from the town . There are many ways to get to the center should you wish to do so. The town gets very crowed and ou will not enjoying staying there.Too much noise . Morover, there is nightlife until 00.00- 1.00 am in all the beach restaurants / clubs on the island. Should you wish to continue you can get a taxi or transfer by the hotel.
