After booking for work Christmas time away on the 17th-18th Dec(more than 11 rooms)(19 adults and 17 children). Now they have cancelled on us. Why?? We have to rebook a different place now. And probably be too late in booking that too. Abit unprofessional turning us down like this.

Rooms were hardly cleaned, the linen and beddings had a funny smell, like it wasn't washed. The reception staff would be running to the window whenever we arrived to check if we had additional people, such an unpleasant experience. Will not return here, in fact will inform our travel person at work to advice staffs against booking into Tubakula.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your organisation’s recent stay at Tubakula. We advise that where additional guests who are not included in the original booking intend staying overnight, we do require them to be registered and accounted for. Our linens are laundered by an external professional laundry who also handle laundry services for other hotels;...

Second visit to this place and it has changed a lot. There newly profound policies far exceeds what they stand for. Bedding's weren't changed, room not properly cleaned and they charged us 30FJD for most probably a 10FJD kitchen knife which was in the first place broken and rusty on the edges. Management accused us for not letting them know...

Thank you for providing us with feedback on your organisation’s recent stay. Our linens are laundered by an external professional laundry who also handle laundry services for other hotels. Beautiful location, had beach front bungalow. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff very friendly. Although the bungalows are dated they are very clean and well equipped. Also the pool and bbq area was a bonus.

We chose "poolside" and enjoyed our stay. We were very pleased to find this self catering accommodation on the coral coast. The snorkeling is lovely, but be warned it is only available for a few hours a day, when the tide is high enough. We had a few hiccups with booking, which I now see is due to the central...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay at Tubakula. Yes, there are very few self-catering accommodations in Fiji, and we are glad that you found us. Having been built in the 1960s as one of the first bungalow-style accommodations on the Coral Coast, we are admittedly rather old-fashioned, but many of our guests find...

I've stayed at Tubakula twice, once with a small group of friends in a bungalow and the second time was a field trip with my entire marine biology class in which we stayed in the dorms. Both times I have gone there, the place has been dead.... really weird vibe. The bungalow is a little dated but had a really...

Thank you for your feedback. Our dorms are very simple, and offer an inexpensive option of hostel-style beds and limited services to school groups and other organisations looking to keep costs to a minimum. There was an electrical problem in the dormitory which was quickly rectified upon discovery. We were pleased to hear that you liked the food though, and...

This place is beautiful without a doubt. I guess I was a local so maybe thats why I was treated differently as I was reading the reviews from other travelers here they had great reviews. I made advance bookings online and prepaid a total of $186FJD for a beachfront bungalow ( 4 adults ) Just two weeks before my checkin...

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review. We are pleased to hear that you found Tubakula beautiful, but are sorry to hear that our policies disappointed you. Like many hotels, we do require a credit card preauthorization equal to 1 night's accommodation as a security deposit against incidentals and damages. This is in addition to...

Arrived here off season, so was not anticipating a lively scene, and was correct. We actually had the entire bungalow to ourselves, which was great. The kitchen has good facilities, allows for self-contained living. The levels of cleanliness are high. Location-wise, it is approximately a fifteen minute bus journey to town, which are frequent. We managed to get a bus...

Beautifully peaceful setting. only a little road noise at roadside bungalows but all other bungalows were quiet. What stands out the most was the staff. Veronica, the manageress was so amazingly helpful, couldn't do enough to help. outstandingly helpful customer service. Cleaning staff are super friendly, big smiles, big hearts. Only concerns are no Wi-Fi and although breakfasts were great,...
