If you want to relax and enjoy your stay in hotel then definitely don't go there. Everything was awful. The general attitude was that they don't care. Rooftop restaurant and "breakfast" was to bad as well. I`l never return there.
This hotel is fine. Service is good and staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very very basic and they struggled to get the breakfast ready at an earlier hour though they said that it wasn't a problem. The rooms were large and comfortable enough. If you're staying for a few nights then this hotel is alright, I'm not sure I would stay much longer than that. Wifi wasn't very strong in the room, so we struggled to get work done. They also have a sauna that you have to request to be turned on at an extra fee - that was quite relaxing after a long day. The main thing this place has going for it are the lovely staff.
It is not easy to book this hotel, so I booked via email. Since there probably are not so many foreigner visitors here, so as soon as we arrived, the receptionist already knew who we are. The room was big enough for us, with basic amenities. The breakfast was very basic, considering this is one of the top hotels in town. Nagorno-Karabakh is still at war and its economic consequence is easy to see, even through this sleek facade of the hotel. The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna, quite a nice relaxation after one day's drive. But you have to talk to the receptionist to open it and warm it up for you. The hotel is big, but seems quite empty at the time we stayed. And there are not so many places we could go to visit around the hotel, even though it was centrally located. We need to drive to the local restaurant. The room was rather clean and basic, but since the country is still at war, so this is probably one of the best place it can offer, to which we were deeply grateful.…
Nice clean hotel with welcoming staff. Our second visit in 3 years. Good base from which to explore the region. There's a permeating slight whiff of cigs but hey this is karabakh. Breakfasts are ok nothing special but the hotel is generally upmarket. Coming from the uk the prices were good value. I enjoyed staying there.
The hotel "Europe" of Artsakh is the perfect place to stay.. the rooms are too comfy. the atmosphere is enough inspiring. The Staff of the Hotel are very hospitable and amiable. Especially we are satisfied with the Reception's treatment service.. the high-level service and the hospitability of the Staff we appreciated most.. Thanks a lot....
The hotel "Europe" is one of the best hotels in Stepanakert.I was in Stepanakert last summer and my friend recomended to stay in "Europe" hotel. It was increadeble.First of all,I like how they met me,everyone is so friendly and affable. Also many people can't live without internet,so they haven't problem with Wi-Fi.They also have tasty food in the restaurant .I'm going to visit this woderful country again and I hope that in this hotel will be a place for my family to stay again.
This hotel was just plain weird. We were put in this massive room on the 4th floor. No bottled water in the room. We had to make the bed as the sheets were just folded on the bed under the bedspread. If this place is supposed to be a 5 star, then the rating system is clearly skewed. Breakfast was what you would expect from a 2 star or 3 star hotel. Our recommendation..... choose another hotel when in Stapankert.
We were very happy with our stay in this hotel. Professional staff ,receptionists Anna and Irina speak English, always eager to help. Adorable outside café to have a morning coffee and late night drinks. I would only suggest to get better coverage for the beds.
I booked for this hotel online and paid a down-payment, but upon arrival they said they had received my booking but not the down-payment. I had to pay the full price. Because I was so tired from the drive I didn't have the energy to go and look for other hotels. But in light of what happened I changed my stay from 2 nights to 1. The staff are courteous and respectful, but unfortunately inexperienced. The Receptionist didn't know any English, the floor manager lady didn't either. I had trouble making them understand the word "Reservation", in the end I finally understood and started using the Russian equivalent: "Bronya". Even the doorman (a 14 year old boy from the looks of it) was inexperienced and was his first day on the job. The room itself was smallish but comfortable. it was clean too. The lights took about a minute to activate all, but once they did it was fine. The air conditioning was excellent, perfect for counteracting the hot weather. They had free wifi and free car parking which was good too. The breakfast was very simple, but if you just need a coffee and a simple cheese snack it'll do fine. Try to get a room on the lower floors, you hear the screeching sounds of chairs from the roof restaurant in the rooms of the 3rd and 4th floor, also if you don't like the sun to wake you up in the morning don't take a room facing east, the shades are less than optimal for blacking out the room.…
I have stayed here with my family several times. We loved it. Rooms are quite spacious and nicely decorated. If you are planing to stay for more than 2 nights I would definetely reccommend taking a suite. It has more space, lovely sitting area and excuisite design. Cafe on the roof top is really a place to be. You get the best views of the town here, the ambiance is so nice. Very friendly staff. We also loved outside cafe, perfect service, good choice of coffee and tea, nice snacks and pizzas. Hotel also has a lobby bar, conference facilities and a swimming pool with a sauna. What we found great about it is that you can lock the door and enjoy your time like you would at your own private pool. Overall, i would recommend this hotel for its convenience, hospitable staff, location and facilities. It is a good value for money.…
