We were spending two nights in Ystad as are both Wallender fans. This hotel was generally disappointing. The exception was breakfast which was excellent. The restaurant for evening meals looked so poor we didnt use it but Ystad has many better to offer. Room was large but no aircon and it was hot and the whole place just had a...

Very good location, close to the train station, and close to the town center. Good breakfast in the morning, and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere overall in an historic hotel But the room was very overpriced for what it was. My bathroom had a funky smell that seemed to be coming from the shower drain. Shower door didn't close all the...

Stayed here on a saturday with my family. The hotel has a nice entrance and interior on the ground floor. Unfortunately this is let down completely by the rooms and corridors, which at least for the second floors case is in need of a refresh(i believe some rooms have been renovated - but they were too small for us when...

This is a charming , dated hotel centrally located in Ystad .If you are like us and value all the values of an old world hotel , then you will love this place. We had a very large room with a balcony at the front of the hotel on a busy road , however thanks to the triple glazing we...

I paid the equivalent of USD 240 for what turned out to be a tourist class room with an outdated bathroom. At this price we had certainly expected something much better. Noisy location with trains passing nearby all night. The restaurant was closed and the outside alternative was totally unsuitable for rainy and windy days.

This is a great place! Old but extremely charming! The desk clerk was so helpful with directions to restaurants and sites to see. The staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge one night and it was very relaxing and lovely. . There is a small store close by along with a tourist...

Just Love this place. Great escape in the middle of Ystad city heart. As always-great food, made by young, talanted chefs and served by happy welcoming waiters. Also tryed some summer coctails-yum yum yum. There is a different menu for lunch and dinner, which i think its really interesting.. Cool place to hang out with friends just for some evening...

Classic hotel – one of Sweden’s oldest, if not the oldest – with excellent location within walking distance of everything in beautiful Ystad. Nice, modernised rooms with basic amenities. The Luxury Rooms were modernised this year, 2016, and while it’s not really luxury interior, the rooms are comfy and roomy and the bed is great. Breakfast is excellent in the...

The common areas and lobby of this old hotel are a little faded. But the rooms have undergone a recent renovation and are modern and comfortable (although a little cheaply done). Bathroom is very small but serviceable. There are no fridge, safe or tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Location is good - on the edge of town and by...

Return to the days of comfort and hospitality. Thanks to the staff for making us feel so special, and to Aaron for all of your help. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Pick a room facing the street and you have a balcony with seating and a view of the water and town. The breakfast buffet was...
