While the Hotel Finikounda looks dated and slightly run down, we keep going back to it because of his manies PLUSES. Firstly it is so central and next to the beach. Then they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and the balcony big. The air conditioning is FREE and the Wi-Fi is FREE too and works... More

Trying to find Finikounda Hotel was the first challenge. Paste these coordinates into your favorite browser: 36.808091, 21.807304 to help you orient yourself. Look through two palm trees to discover the hotel's sign - it is covered very well. My brother attempted to check-in speaking English. He was responded to with grunts in Greek. Speaking Greek will help overcome hurdle... More

The Finikounda Hotel is very near to the beach. A run down hotel, but all the same ok. One takes breakfast down the road at the Terra Mare which is right on the beach. The sheets were changed regularly and there was always hot water. Finikounda itself is a charming fishing village. Plenty of restaurants to eat in, but not... More

We are staying here and there are only 5 rooms taken. It's so near the beach. Very basic accommodation but hot water and clean sheets. 25 metres from the beach. We have breakfast at the terra mare right on the beach. What more could one want. Bliss

Just returned from 2 weeks in Finikounda, staying at the Finikounda Hotel. What a let down. This Hotel is so tired, it needs a total refurbish. No one on Reception, the only member of Staff we saw was the maid, who spoke no English. The room was very basic to say the least. Sheets and towel change did not happen... More

I recently stayed at the Finikounda Hotel (26 Aug 8 Sept). Bed and Breakfast basis which was taken over the road at the Terra Mare a wonderful cafe bar where I had many greek salads. The Hotel itself is in a great location just 30 metres from the beach the owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble,... More

This is the second occasion I've needed to stay over at the Finikounda Hotel, basic but clean rooms, with fridge tv & aircon. Friendly family & the location is great, a couple of minutes walk from supermarket, beach, tavernas etc.

The whole place needs smartening up (nothing a few coats of white paint can't fix) and a few repairs but it's clean and friendly and the free air con is a big bonus. Bins emptied every day and towels and sheets changed every other day. Our shower was great, had a proper hook so we didn't have to hold it... More

First the pros - free air con and an absolutely ideal central location in Finikounda near the beach, supermarket, tavernas, bars and church square. Now the cons - very shabby indeed and in need of a really expensive upgrade. The rooms are of adequate size and the beds are comfy, the balcony was fine but the view is not great... More
