Minuses are well out of town, shower temperature is inconsistent as is internet service, heating system was difficult to operate and self shuts off in the middle of the night. Safe was locked shut on arrival. Breakfast is basic. Pluses are bed was comfortable and room quiet. Front desk was helpful and addressed the majority of the minus issues when...

Room 210 was spacious and modern. The bathroom was large and the shower bigger than most with a large rain head. Hot water came up quickly. Hallways were dark and the room was not as brightly lit as we wold have liked. The bed was comfortable and the laundry service less expensive than Palermo. The big negative was the internet...

The Hotel Visir Spa & Resort....... on arriving by rental car through a very run down area we arrived at an oasis, the hotel looks smart and modern from the outside with lush gardens big palms and automatic fancy sliding front doors. Although to get to the front of the hotel you had to walk through some rather not nice...

We had the most fantastic time at this hotel thanks to its owner who understood our particular needs and went the extra mile to accommodate us. If you are looking for a place where you know that you can just relax, this hotel is for you. We also enjoyed the shows at night. Great music.

The Visir Hotel has very unique architecture and design—Arab—Moorish. My husband and I spent 3 nights there during a 2 week tour of Sicily. It was part of our tour package and selected to be a hub for day trips. It is not located near anything you can walk to. The lighting in our room was so dramatic that the...

Stayed here for a whole week with my wife. Really relaxing chilled out stay. The staff go out of there way to help you and serve you at all times. Great pool bar with lots of different cocktails available. The room was very good with air con and nice big bed. I would recommend hiring a car as we did...

We stayed here for 3 nights (on a tour). Our room, #214, was located in the back and was very quiet, has a balcony. The bedroom is small, but has a king-sized bed with great lighting over the bed, safe, mini fridge, WiFi. The bathroom has a double sink and a stall shower. The first night we had no hot...

I stayed here for three nights as part of an OAT trip to Sicily. While the hotel is a beautiful structure, some problems exist. The bedding was old and yellowed. The pillowcases did not fit the misshapened pillows. Both pillows and bedding should have been replaced long ago. Needless to say, the bed was not inviting. The towels in the...

I enjoyed this small, friendly hotel. I had room 206 and it was quiet and received a good wi-fi signal. There is excellent light for reading. The buffet breakfast is nice with the availability of fresh fruit. Coffee is on the buffet, but the waitress will bring you a capucchino or tea. The room has a balcony, but only one...

We spent three nights at this beautiful and unusual hotel. I loved the architecture with its North African influence. There are fountains and pools outdoors and inside, arched entryways, white exteriors and gold domes that put you in the mindset of a kasbah. My room was large and light with lovely amenities, good t.v. reception and strong wifi. There is...
