We spent a wonderfully relaxing holiday at Hotel Mallas. The staff is great and the service is top. Though only a two-star hotel, it deserves the best grades for such rating. I would give them a bonus star! Jasmina, Serbia

My boyfriend and me visited this hotel in July and we were happy to be there. Friendly staff, tasty dinners, clean rooms, best location(1 min from the sea and 1 min from the main street). One remark: monotonous breakfast. Beautifull terrace will impress everybody :)

The Reseption boy was unfriendly, had no idea we were coming. We wanted to stay 7 days. The room was from us, my husband and me booked and we called 3 times before . We became another room very small with a little bathroom and WC. The balcony was very small and looked at the street and not at the pool and garden that was promised to us. There was no help from the receptionstaff and no response. Also noone was whearing masks. No antiseptic hand cleaner, no masks no cloves in the room. Nothing looked like the pictures we saw at booking.com We left the same day.

καταρχήν δεν καταλαβαίνουμε για ποιο λόγο έχετε γράψει την κριτική στα αγγλικά, καθώς είσαστε κάτοικος Ελλάδας, εργαζόμενη στην χώρα γεγονός που αποδυκνύεται από το γεγονός ότι κάνατε κράτηση μέσω του προγράμματος του ΟΑΕΔ. Για ποιο λόγο λοιπόν παριστάνετε την αλλοδαπή? όσον αφορά τα μέτρα κατά του covid , το ξενοδοχείο τηρεί αυστηρά το πρωτόκολλο, υπάρχουν σε όλους τους κοινόχηστους χώρους αντισηπτικά, πινακίδες με οδηγίες. Στο δωμάτιο παρέχουμε αντισιπτικά μαντηλάκια , ούτε μάσκες, ούτε γάντια(και για ποιο λόγο να τα προσφέρουμε αυτά?) . όλοι οι πελάτες και όλο το προσωπικό φοράει μάσκα, στην ρεσεψιον υπάρχει και προστατευτικό τζάμι που προστατεύει εξίσου προσωπικό και πελάτες. σχετικά με την ευγένεια του προσωπικού μας έχουμε εξαιρετική βαθμολογία προσωπικού σε όλες τις ιστοσελίδες. Όλοι είμαστε πολύ ευγενικοί με τους πελάτες μας. Σε σχέση με τις φωτογραφίες που είδατε σε γνωστή ιστοσελίδα κρατήσεων το δωμάτιο που σας προσφέραμε ανταποκρίνεται απόλυτα στο standard δίκλινο δωμάτιο που κάνατε κράτηση. Αν εσείς είδατε άλλο δωμάτιο (σουίτα ή superior) , δεν ευθυνόμαστε εμείς. Σχετικά λοιπόν με το θέμα που έχετε, ήρθατε ανεβήκατε στο δωμάτιο, μείνατε μια ώρα, μαλώσατε μεταξύ σας και κατεβήκατε κάνοντας παράπονο για την θέα του δωματίου.Η μόνη αλήθεια στην κριτική σας είναι ότι ζητήσατε δωμάτιο με θέα στην πισίνα. Αμέσως σας προσφέραμε άλλο δωμάτιο και ενώ ο συζυγός ήθελε να το δείτε, εσείς ουρλιάζατε και μαλώνατε μαζί του. εκβιάσατε και για να πάρετε πίσω την προκαταβολή σας( που δεν αντιστοιχούσε ούτε στο μισό της διαμόνης μιας ημέρας ) με κακή κριτική. Και αυτό κάνατε. Εμείς σας ευχόμαστε καλό καλοκαίρι και λυπούμαστε πολύ για την συμπεριφόρά σας,

Positive: Very close location to the sea, 3 minutes and you are there. Looks very nice from the outside.
Negatives: - constant water on the floor in the bathroom - first two nights there was no pressure in the taps so we couldn't have a shower - air conditioning wasn't working properly, we set it to 18 C, but it was hardly 22, moreover, it was very noisy. - only 1 English channel on TV - having bought half board we expected to have enough food for everyone, yet. the portions were too small, moreover, being a latecomer, we sometimes didn't have a variety which was at the beginning which was annoying. - drinks are NOT included during the dinner and there are no notes about it, so we got a call at the end of our stay saying we owed them money. - cleaning staff knocked on the door at 9.30 asking to clean the room, when we opposed to it, they said they wouldn't have another time to clean it as they have other job to do. - food is not allowed in the rooms. - we could constantly hear noise from other rooms.
To be honest, there were so many things that we were not happy about that it nearly spoiled our rest in not a very cheap country. We have stayed in about 7 different 2 star hotels across Europe, but that one was the worse.

Dear customer AnastasiaDS First of all I usually don't reply to any comments that my property recieve from client's. When you come to a hotel You must respect the rules and regulations. You can not want to bring Water mellons to the rooms and you can not bring refreshments and alcohol from supermarket to drink it in the dinning room.If you don't know the agreement that you make with the tour operator that aranged your reservation it is not my problem and all the tables in the dinning area have price ists and catalogues.Air coditions with 38 degrees out side temperature it can not work in 18 degrees.As you know all the baths have curtains in the showers and if you have problem you can inform us about your problem to solve it. Of course the best responce to your review is the other clients reviews above. The tour operator that arranged your reservation is my partner 10 years and I offer my services to almost 10000 customers the last years.

We stayed in Mallas for a week. It is a nice location, just 2 minutes from the beach. On your way you pass a fruit-vegetable market and have a good chance to buy some grapes and peaches. There are a plenty of taverns in the vicinity, some attractions for children. Blue Flag beach is also nearby, but we found it too crowded, so we mainly used the beach directly near Mallas: it is also very clean.
Our breakfasts were included and they were really good. (I was surprised, because I read some reviews where their breakfasts were called "dull"). We found them nice, there was a good choice of everything, actually, they were the best breakfasts we have ever had in Greece.
Air conditioning is free (which is not all over Greece). Wi-Fi is not very good in the room, it is ok near reception.
The stuff is very friendly and VERY VERY helpful. We arranged to meet our son and some friends in Mallas and thanks to the stuff everything went smooth. Many many thanks to them all!
As I want to be objective, here are some minuses. Our room had a tiny bathroom, which was all in water after taking shower, our towels were wet, too (the bath curtain was too short). However, not all rooms in the hotel have such small-size bathrooms, my son's one was O.K.
Another drawback was the space in the dining room buffet. You have to squeeze or wait till one person fills the plate, and this is a time-consuming process with such a good choice of dishes))).
One more thing: no privacy on the balcony. We had neighbours from both sides and were separated from them with only short partition of metal bars.
All in all pluses by far outweigh the minuses. Ambience, tidiness and good attitudes made our stay very pleasant.

This hotel is really a great choice for those who appreciate the vicinity of the beach, the walking area, restaurants and shops. We were very satisfied from the first moment we stepped into the hotel. Our choice was a superior room, which means that you get some additional amenities like bathroom robes, slippers, a big LCD tv, a dvd player a hot water boiler, two ceramic cups, tea bags and sugar....and a bigger room, nicely designed, and as a welcome gift a wine bottle with glasses.Nice touch! There is a fair sized balcony as well,ours faced the street, which is a main traffic street, but a one way street. The only thing is that you don't get much privacy at the balcony since you are separated from the neighbur's balcony only by a iron fence. We also bought a clothes rope since there isn't any at the balcony, but it wasn't a problem at all. The rooms are cleaned daily, when the we got clean towels as well. Bed sheets were changed 4 times in 10 days! Really unexpected. We had a half board, and we didn't regret it. The food was really great and diverse For breakfast ,8.00-10.00, there was a range of cereals, yogurts, fruit, eggs in different forms, grilled eggplant and zucchini, sausages, cheese,pastries, and a cake and a kind of sponge cake and melon and watermelon....In ten days we didn't have the same choice for dinner. Every day two different kinds of meat...lamb, rabbit, chicken,beef, and a side dish. Everything veery delicious, the meat melted in our mouth. Two or three salads, and again melon and water melon...And a different soup every night. There is also a dining area by the pool in the shade. The staff is very helpful, always smiling. A very charming Katerina, I don't know if she is the owner or a daughter of the owner, but we had a really great communication with her...The hotel is obviously a family business, so her two boys also help every morning and night with the service. The last day, unfortunately, we had to check out at noon, because our room was booked, but we were able to rent another room, a standard one, for a daily use, for 30 euros,and the hotel gave us a free dinner included in the price! We were delighted!! There is everything you need in the walking range of 50-100 m from the hotel, the bakery across the street, the best pizzeria Milan four houses from the hotel, the grocery shop 50 m, and the best giros Donald Duck 80 m. Great location! And, of course, the beach 60 m. I warmly recommend this hotel!! Hope to stay there next year too!!

The placement of the hotel is exelent- close to the sea and to the center. The rooms are nice, even very noisy. But at night is silent. The terrace is big and nice. The beach is very dirty, the sea is perfect(in August). The food is good - which is hot and cooked every day, the salads are not so good and too litle, fruits are always little and the same, the coffee is not strong at all, tea too- and the water from what is made bad, so not tastey. at all..Toast, marmelade, honey are good ))).

Они ужасно себя повели, дали номер со сломанным замком на входной двери, который не открывался, вернее открывался если ключом тыкать минут 15 туда-сюда, а у дверей обычные замки с ключами, и на нашу просьбу заменить номер, грубо отказали. Да, я все в отзыве написала, а эти владельцы отеля, вместо извинений такую чушь написали, такой бред и неправду... вообщем, что хозяйка, что сын, такие люди, с которыми вообще общаться, если где-то встретить, желания не возникнет, еще и совести у них нет совсем... это первые такие греки, от которых просто мерзко...
