Mallas Hotel Nea Kallikratia Dissapointed! 799957861 The Reseption boy was unfriendly, had no idea we were coming. We wanted to stay 7 days. The room was from us, my husband and me booked and we called 3 times before . We became another room very small with a little bathroom and WC. The balcony was very small and looked at the street and not at the pool and garden that was promised to us. There was no help from the receptionstaff and no response. Also noone was whearing masks. No antiseptic hand cleaner, no masks no cloves in the room. Nothing looked like the pictures we saw at booking.com We left the same day.

καταρχήν δεν καταλαβαίνουμε για ποιο λόγο έχετε γράψει την κριτική στα αγγλικά, καθώς είσαστε κάτοικος Ελλάδας, εργαζόμενη στην χώρα γεγονός που αποδυκνύεται από το γεγονός ότι κάνατε κράτηση μέσω του προγράμματος του ΟΑΕΔ. Για ποιο λόγο λοιπόν παριστάνετε την αλλοδαπή? όσον αφορά τα μέτρα κατά του covid , το ξενοδοχείο τηρεί αυστηρά το πρωτόκολλο, υπάρχουν σε όλους τους κοινόχηστους χώρους αντισηπτικά, πινακίδες με οδηγίες. Στο δωμάτιο παρέχουμε αντισιπτικά μαντηλάκια , ούτε μάσκες, ούτε γάντια(και για ποιο λόγο να τα προσφέρουμε αυτά?) . όλοι οι πελάτες και όλο το προσωπικό φοράει μάσκα, στην ρεσεψιον υπάρχει και προστατευτικό τζάμι που προστατεύει εξίσου προσωπικό και πελάτες. σχετικά με την ευγένεια του προσωπικού μας έχουμε εξαιρετική βαθμολογία προσωπικού σε όλες τις ιστοσελίδες. Όλοι είμαστε πολύ ευγενικοί με τους πελάτες μας. Σε σχέση με τις φωτογραφίες που είδατε σε γνωστή ιστοσελίδα κρατήσεων το δωμάτιο που σας προσφέραμε ανταποκρίνεται απόλυτα στο standard δίκλινο δωμάτιο που κάνατε κράτηση. Αν εσείς είδατε άλλο δωμάτιο (σουίτα ή superior) , δεν ευθυνόμαστε εμείς. Σχετικά λοιπόν με το θέμα που έχετε, ήρθατε ανεβήκατε στο δωμάτιο, μείνατε μια ώρα, μαλώσατε μεταξύ σας και κατεβήκατε κάνοντας παράπονο για την θέα του δωματίου.Η μόνη αλήθεια στην κριτική σας είναι ότι ζητήσατε δωμάτιο με θέα στην πισίνα. Αμέσως σας προσφέραμε άλλο δωμάτιο και ενώ ο συζυγός ήθελε να το δείτε, εσείς ουρλιάζατε και μαλώνατε μαζί του. εκβιάσατε και για να πάρετε πίσω την προκαταβολή σας( που δεν αντιστοιχούσε ούτε στο μισό της διαμόνης μιας ημέρας ) με κακή κριτική. My husband and I stayed at the Mallas for a week after we had been to the city for 3 nights. With all my reviews I try to be as balanced and reasonable as possible, giving both sides as much as I can....but I have to say I was disappointed by the hotel. The location is great as it's a stone's throw from the beach and the town of Kalikratia, which is a lovely place to hang out for a few days (although it was deathy quiet when we were then predominantly due to Covid 19), but the room was very dated, dark and basic. We'd upgraded to a 'superior room' through booking.com but I don't know what would have been superior about it except for the size. It did have a good sized balcony but not the best of views overlooking the pool area, and given the hotel was almost empty we had thought they might give us a room with a better vantage point. We noticed that the room did not get cleaned for the first few days, but they had been in and emptied the bins and left towels. We assumed it was a reduced cleaning schedule because of Covid, but when we left to stay in another area for a night the bins had not been emptied that day at all. We spoke to the owner's son and said that it needed to be cleaned, but he said they weren't allowed to clean the rooms because of Covid. I said that we had just come from the Electra Palace and they were managing to clean rooms and he said he would speak to his parents....however when we returned it wasn't cleaned and the bins (including the bathroom one for toilet paper) hadn't been emptied, which was making the room smell in the heat. I spoke to the owner and to be fair he arranged for the room to be cleaned and sheets changed the following day, They also left a complimentary bottle of wine in the room for us, which was appreciated. However, the lack of communication by the owners was something we really noticed. We were never told of the cleaning issue - that we would need to request cleaning, we weren't asked if we wanted breakfast with them, we weren't really given any information at all - even the wifi code (we had assumed it wasn't working as when you connected to the Hotel Mallas it didn't ask for a password, it just connected badly....turns out they have another one) and that is an area they could improve on. Also, I'd specifically booked a hotel with a pool and the pool area looked very neglected. The pool didn't look like it had been used or cleaned in a long time and I asked the son whether it was actually open and he said yes...but I wouldn't have got into it. The garden area around it was full of weeds, which added to the feeling of neglect. I do appreciate that it is challenging times, but if you are going to open I think you should do your best to keep standards high and I don't feel they made any effort really to make us feel welcome. On reflection I would have stayed elsewhere, which is a shame because I do like to support small local businesses.…

This is my third stay in hotel. Hotel is located in city centre. Rooms are clean and have plenty of space. Bathroom is large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the staff and owners are wery polite and friendly.

We were at Hotel Mallas for 10 days, the location it perfect really near the beach a 4 min walk away. The beach has lots of sunbeds from 3-6 euros but if you buy a drink or food they are free, the sand has small pebbles in some areas and the sea is clean and clear, Mallas is right near the main strip of restaurants and bars. This is a family orientated resort lots of Greeks with holiday homes, hardly any English which appealed to me. The main non Greek holiday makers were Russian/Ukrainian/Serbian which the hotel was mostly full of. Mallas is a family owned hotel and they all take part in the running of it, they are a great family and very friendly. The breakfast is fantastic there really is something for everyone a huge choice and a great way to start your day. The rooms are small but perfect for a beach holiday the AC worked very well and the wifi was fast you can connect in your room without a problem. The rooms are cleaned daily and each room has a TV with English programmes, a balcony and a fridge. My only little complaint about the room is the bathroom, ours had a tiny bath that had a sort of seat in it so when you washed the water went everywhere as there was no curtain to keep the water inside but you get used to it very quickly. If you stay at Mallas contact the hotel and get them to book you a taxi as they get a better rate, during the day its 35 the taxi rank charge 40 at night they charge a night fee, at the airport we paid 50 euros. 3 couples in our group arrived to this very nice beach town by chance. We found Mallas hotel. It was also recommended by the local Baker. They had 3 rooms for us. The hotel is a minute walk from this lovely beach. The rooms are very clean the towels smell nice and crispy clean. We took a larger room and enjoyed the modern wet room. The bed was excellent big and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also very generous. Hot food fresh mediterenian salad and many greak pastries. To top it the staff are helpful and friendly and the prices fare. I will return to Mallas hotel north Greece.

Lovely place, very good location. Nice breakfast. 3km away very good Sahara beach. The hotel is very well maintained. The staff and the owner are very polite. Restaurant prices are around 13 euro per person on average.

The hotel is great,the staff is very kindly,breakfast was with many different dishes.The room are small but clean.The location is 2 minutes from the beach and 50 m from the restaurant and center of Nea Kalikratia.Everything was excellent.I recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Mallas for a week. It is a nice location, just 2 minutes from the beach. On your way you pass a fruit-vegetable market and have a good chance to buy some grapes and peaches. There are a plenty of taverns in the vicinity, some attractions for children. Blue Flag beach is also nearby, but we found it too crowded, so we mainly used the beach directly near Mallas: it is also very clean. Our breakfasts were included and they were really good. (I was surprised, because I read some reviews where their breakfasts were called "dull"). We found them nice, there was a good choice of everything, actually, they were the best breakfasts we have ever had in Greece. Air conditioning is free (which is not all over Greece). Wi-Fi is not very good in the room, it is ok near reception. The stuff is very friendly and VERY VERY helpful. We arranged to meet our son and some friends in Mallas and thanks to the stuff everything went smooth. Many many thanks to them all! As I want to be objective, here are some minuses. Our room had a tiny bathroom, which was all in water after taking shower, our towels were wet, too (the bath curtain was too short). However, not all rooms in the hotel have such small-size bathrooms, my son's one was O.K. Another drawback was the space in the dining room buffet. You have to squeeze or wait till one person fills the plate, and this is a time-consuming process with such a good choice of dishes))). One more thing: no privacy on the balcony. We had neighbours from both sides and were separated from them with only short partition of metal bars. All in all pluses by far outweigh the minuses. Ambience, tidiness and good attitudes made our stay very pleasant.…
