Best hotel room, we stayed in a superior double, best bathroom we've ever had in Greece, staff lovely especially the guys on the pool bar. I agree with other reviews about breakfast, can be lukewarm but tasty. Really can't fault anything hope to return
Room was a good size with nice balcony and seating. We only had one issue, although the room was self catering with fridge and 2 ring hob, there was a lack of decent pans to use. 1 very large (ok if cooking for family of 6) and 1 small (ok to boil an egg) No frying pan or toaster. Breakfast is available at hotel restaurant for a fee, but we like to cook our own breakfast. We did buy a frying pan as hotel could not provide us with one. Although towels and sheets changed daily, the room was only swept a couple of times during our 2 week stay. Would be nice to have a brush or broom in room. The location of the hotel is excellent for taverna’s, shop’s and beach. Hanioti is fairly flat with just a small incline to main road. We hired a car which we could park in the hotel car park free of charge. Drinks at pool bar are quite expensive when compared to outside establishments. …
This hotel was lovely and clean the staff were all friendly. The breakfast had plenty of choice something there for everyone. The rooms were a lot more modern than what we usually have in Greece, However the view wasn’t good we overlooked where people lived but the balcony and the furniture were lovely for the time we spent on it. It is in an ideal situation close to supermarket and walking distance for bars etc. We caught the local bus to Afitos it was €5.60 there and the same back well worth a visit. Also walked to Pefkochori which took 40 mins the old town was so Greek we ate at Makkis which was beautiful highly recommend.
We visited this fabulous hotel in June 2022 for 2 weeks. We felt relaxed and chilled out as soon as we arrived although we had been booked into a standard room which wasn't great. The room was spotlessly clean but felt the bathroom was too small for us. We may have coped for a week but not two. However, we upgraded to a superior which was superb and well worth the bit of extra money. All the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and Victoria on reception was a star, sorting out our room upgrade, ordering taxis and always had a smile and friendly words whatever time of day it was. We can't thank her enough for everything she did for us. The hotel is well situated for easy access to all the local bars and restaurants and the supermarkets nearby are well stocked and well priced. The breakfasts were good and had a decent range of items. Lunches were available round the pool or in the restaurants and they were always excellent. Everywhere was well kept and immaculately clean. When we got home we decided to book it again for 2023 as we had enjoyed ourselves so much. Most definitely recommend this place for a chilled out relaxing holiday. See you next year Dionysos, watch out for us Victoria - John and Simon :)…
Loved the hotel rooms immaculate superior room Staff always very helpful nothing to much bother Breakfasts were ok not very hot but brown bread is lovely Great location for Hanioti centre tried a few restaurants all were good Ice cream shops to die for. Had few drinks at last chance on way to beach Nick who runs it is so friendly not posh but so homely. Found white beach sunbeds 5€ each with sunshade as long as you buy a drink about 6€. Staff are lovely toilets available which were always clean. Such a relaxing holiday Would defo return
Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at Dionysos. We had upgraded to the superior room which I 100% recommended doing as it was lovely. Only downfall we had is the bed was a little too firm for our liking and the safe didn’t work. Wasn’t too keen on the breakfast as the hot food isn’t really hot so we mainly ate the pancakes which were nice. We did eat here most days of the week for lunch which we enjoyed and the staff are nice and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and shops around with a supermarket right outside the hotel. Thank you for a lovely weeks stay
Just spent a lovely week here September( 16-23) we had 2 superior rooms absolutely gorgeous super clean bed comfortable would say slightly firm but slept really well ..breakfast is good lots to choose from but the hot food isnt very warm but all very nice ..food around the pool is very good .however the pool was very chilly 😬 ..there isnt enough beds around the pool (due to the bed/towel hoggers ) for the amount of people staying there so had to spend most of the days at the beach which wasn't a problem .i would take beach shoes 100% as its stony as you get to the shore and in the water but sandy at the top..loads of restaurants /bars in the Area we ate at garrys gyros massive portions a few times .the garden .gusto Italian beautiful pizzas .zorbas we didn't like unfortunately ..capari behind the hotel was nice . We went into afytos during the day by bus took 40 mins and 11 euros return for 2 and went in the evening with jet 2 on coach absolutely.beautiful .there .. Evenings are getting chilly so need a jumper/jacket ..lovely friendly helpful staff here wouldn't hesitate to stay again ..some places were starting to close up in the evening but still plenty to choose ..supermarket directly behind the pool ..lots of clean mostly friendly stray dogs and cats which didn't bother us ..could have easily bought some of the dogs home with us 😪 dont hesitate to book here ...definitely pay extra for the superior room ..had a 3 hour delay in all on the day from stansted the day we flew due to the french air strike .😳.jet 2 once again fabulous .!! transfer from airport to hanoiti 1 hour .50 mins…
We enjoyed a lovely 2 week stay in the Dyonisis Hotel/Apts. The room was excellent, with superb facilities and very comfortable. The room was serviced daily and towels were changed daily. The beds were changed weekly. The buffet breakfast was adequate with a good choice of hot & cold food. (although, if I’m honest the hot food wasn’t so hot) but, it is difficult to keep buffet food hot and not dry out. However, it was very tasty and the fried eggs were delicious. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and to have a Jet2 Rep visit 3 times a week was very reassuring. Her name is Debbie and she was very good and very helpful. We would recommend this property and go as far as to say, it is the best accommodation we have had in Greece in over 30 years. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.…
Stayed here July/August 22 it was a little gem Lovely and clean All staff were very friendly and attentive breakfast was lovely plenty of choice. location is great central to all amenities would highly recommend
Stayed as a family of 4 (3 adults, one nearly 11 year old in July. 2 Deluxe studios with pool view on a B&B basis. Hot food was usually cold and unappetising no matter what time you went. Loads of cake and on a couple of mornings what looked like chocolate mousse. Some fresh fruit, mixed fruit and nuts, yoghurt, honey, lovely fresh breads, croissants, olives, cheeses and cold meats as well as cereals. Studious very nice but smaller than they look in pictures. Adequate facilities for preparing sandwiches, salad etc if you wanted to. Great shower and air con. Balcony lovely with ratan furniture and clothes drying line. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels. Cleaned to quite a good standard but we found a small child’s shoe under one of our beds when we arrived. Staff very nice and efficient and friendly.Drinks and snacks served directly to your sunbed. Drinks more expensive than in the village. Had 2 cocktails and I’ve had much better. The food at snack bar/restaurant is very good and much better value than the drinks. It can get very busy from around one o’clock until maybe 3ish but you won’t not wait any time at all to be served. Unfortunately I had to query my bill one day as I had been charged not only for our food but another table’s. I saw this happen to someone else too. This was quickly rectified and as said it was very busy and at these times mistakes can be made. Sun beds comfortable but when we were there the majority of them had been “reserved” by 10am despite the hotel policy (not really enforced) of removing towels/personal belongings from unused sunbeds. Small pool area and tiny children’s pool which was directly outside of a couple of studios on the ground floor. A couple of families with toddlers and younger children but not many. Adults and couples were definitely in the majority. No children running about the pool area (not that there would have been space for them to do so.) A couple of minutes walk to the centre of Hanioti and not much further to the beach. 2 supermarkets, a bakery and a giros place across the road. Entertainment was on Saturday evening (Jazz singer). Hotel gets busier at the weekends with Greek guests. As we usually holiday with our grandson we would not return but would recommend to adults who want a nice quiet clean conveniently located hotel.…
