Fight nice and family friendly campsite, with Leksand Sommarland as the closest neighbor. The campsite is over a very large area, so if you have the possibility it is advisable to bring e.g. bicycle or the like. There are several service houses inside the area, so it's a big plus! Something that pulls a little down is that there were several toilet doors on which the locks were broken, a shower room that lacked light. Some of the service houses have access to a shower/toilet with a glass window on the door. The windows are rugged, but since there is flood lighting inside these rooms it felt like those with campgrounds right outside/and/or those in queues can look in. Otherwise it was tip top!

Stay high season July.
Check in; no problem, pleasant service, otherwise no need for contact.
Stayed at Bever, right by the park, large and nice plots with great views of Siljan.
Sanitary; first used sanitary 1, but it was difficult to get down from the plot and it was very narrow. Own shower closet next to, here you had to dress outside before you went into the shower because in the shower there was no room. Started using sanitary No.3. Mostly clean, like that shower and sink are separate from the toilet room, but you should consider when going to the toilet or shower for there were very few socks, both shower and toilet, in relation to the number of people.
Activities; summer land was ok, but our 12 and 14 are too big for many activities. The bath area was good. Adventure golf fun. Bath area on the square ok, the beach was very nice. The stumbling tower is useless for it stands on the ground and max 1m depth, do not realize it is not removed or pulled out further, has stood like this for many years.
A nice campsite, but some of the money that comes in should go to freshen up barley and div.

We stayed in the kabe village and the caravan was really good with ac and ventilation door. Had been able to increase the standard by using the toilet but our caravan was right in front of the service building so for us it was still comfortable. We ate the barbecue buffet which was quite good but had too few options and bad that soda is not included. The jump pillow was gone since the last time we were there and nothing new had been added. Without summer land, the campsite is too boring. Some night works

Leksand Resort is the perfect campsite for you if you feel you deserve to really party to loud music on your newly purchased speakers. Remember that you don’t have to worry about your neighbors and remember that you can party until well after midnight.
Remember that everyone within a 150-meter radius wants to hear your unique mix of pop, rock and dance bands.
You can easily continue to party loudly outdoors despite the evening call’s gentle instructions.
If you or your children wish to fall asleep before midnight, look for another campsite.

We were very excited when we arrived and the kids were looking forward to have a few nice days…..
When we asked, we were told that the summer land was already closed, but anyways before we checked in, no one told us that everything in the resort was closed as well, except for the reception. On the beach, we collected rubbish and broken glass so that the kids wouldn't get hurt. It seemed as if no one was responsible. We booked for 4 nights but left after one night because everything was already closed. If we had been told that before, we wouldn't have come in the first place.
We arrived with our mobile home and got a spot in the first row with lakeview but that was the only god thing at all.
Really a big disappointment.

A beautiful campsite laid out in terraces facing Lake Siljan. The service centre sells the most important things. The service house is okay. At the end of the season the service houses were largely closed, so the only open one looked accordingly. A pity because it detracts from the overall impression.
Very close to Lake Siljan with access via the sandy beach. Beautiful walks along the lake at the campsite.

Very nice campsite. Was there on a tent trip 1 week with several families. Incredibly cool waterpark and nice beach with fun activities.
The only thing that draws a little down are the spaces and facilities. The showers and does were fine but recommend slippers. There could be a little more information about the spaces considering that 2 of 5 spaces we had were gravel spaces. This might have to be informed mtp that we had ordered "tent" seats. But unless it was the place quite prima 👍🏼

Rented a cabin and would watch hockey.
Rat shit in bed, couch stale smell.
During cleaning, there was a dead rat in the rat trap behind the couch. Got an answer when we emailed that the cabins were in the woods. Fantastic bad service. So better would they inform about the problem when renting. That it's autumn and the rats want in so badly.

I'm here with family and live in kabe village. Fröch o nice caravan, close to service building no3 which is clean and fresh. Smooth check-in and close to summerland. Good food in the restaurant, but a bit too expensive I think. This campsite can be recommended

We stayed here late August which is shoulder season here so it was relatively quiet, lots of Swedish retirees walking their dogs! Why is it usually the women who do the dog walking??!!
It’s a beautiful spot by the side of Lake Siljan -well spaced out camping / caravan and cabin areas. We were booked in a 2 bed cabin but were upgraded free of charge to a three bed - one of the Tallbaken 2 cabins - this was huge with upstairs 2 bedrooms plus toilet and indoor seating area as well as outdoor balcony with table and chairs - downstairs another seating area, dining area and kitchen , outside picnic table seating area with access via separate kitchen door, downstairs toilet, separate shower room with inbuilt sauna which worked great. The downstairs room is two bunk beds, the upstairs rooms have two singles in one - zip link to make a double, other room is a bunk bed over a three quarter bed. Also sofa bed in upstairs seating area. The cabin was clean and well maintained and very warm.
The site is right next to Somarland which is a kids adventure park with a couple of huge water slides and other stuff - was closed when we were there as it was after the Swedish schools went back on 15th August - I imagine the site would be a lot busier in high summer but the campsite do seem to have a strict policy of quiet after 10 pm in the evening.
The bathing area and beach is very nice - late August the water was still easily warm enough to swim in . The crazy golf was fun and there was no extra charge for this. There is a lovely lakeside trail into Leksand itself - about 1.5 miles which goes through a wooded area. Worth the walk to go to the Siljan Konditori!
Use of the laundry was free - you normally have to book a slot but as it was shoulder season reception let us go anytime. The machines even add the soap for you which was a new one for me!
All in all a very pleasant and well managed site. Only thing I would say is take note of reduced reception opening hours - they close at 1600 usually but on the Friday they closed at 1400 and were not open when we left the site at 1100 on Sat. They did text us in Swedish with all the relevant codes to get on site and to open the key safe to find our envelope with info and hut key. A little work with Google translate to figure out what we were supposed to do, but all good.
