From the first contact with the vendors I could sense this was going to exceed expectations and we weren't disappointed. Emails were promptly answered and useful advice and guidance always forthcoming. We stayed in the farmhouse as a group of friends on a whisky tour. The farmhouse is set in a beautiful location with it's own private walled garden. All...

The countryside surrounding Dufftown is like stepping into a postcard of beautiful scenery that captures vivid green hillsides dotted with healthy sheep and stock and of course flowering Heather. The township itself is quaint with great shops to browse through and friendly service into the bargain. And of course the Whisky Trail is an added bonus! Our stay at the...

Not far out of Dufftown on the whiskey trail this complex of cottages allows for a free run for children without the worry that goes with it. Very picturesque and quietly just enough of the beaten track, it provides a secure setting for our family gathering. We stayed in the Islay cottage and whilst only three of us we entertained...

We rented out all the cottages for my sisters wedding for both sides of the family to stay in and it was fantastic. Every cottage was clean, tidy and well maintained. We loved all the outdoor spaces and were able use them all. Couldn't have asked for better accommodation and really helped the families celebrate together for the wedding weekend....

This was our 9th visit! A perfect place for retreat and let all worries and concerns go. Then able to return home peaceful and able to deal with life again. Viv and Di are gems and always make us feel so welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The world could do with a lot more like them.

At some three kilometer walking distance from Dufftown you will find this lovely quiet spot. The Parkmore holiday cottages comprise a series of cottages on the location of an old farmhouse. Some are refurbished old farm buildings and others are recently constructed. We stayed in one of the latter ones, the Isla lodge, that is well furnished with all you...

Viv and Di have been brilliant. We were getting married in Dufftown and I contacted them in August and straight away they put all the cottages on hold for me for 2 months for people to book. They then released the one remaining cottage in late October after checking with me that everyone was sorted. We stayed in the Bothy...

My family / friends rented out all the cottages for my brothers wedding that was held locally. We stayed in the 'cornloft' for 4 nights - which was absolutely lovely. Very clean and cosy with all amenities that you need. Little play park and sandpit on site that my 4yr old loved. Plenty of space to park and set amidst...
