Great place to stay, Andy & Sue are great and very good hosts. And there breakfast is superb, a great way to start your day. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The B&B is on a quiet street in Dufftown, and it is easy to park your car. I good recommend this place, we are definitely stay here again.

Great hosts, many DVDs (we watched Skyfall), the room are just what needed. Yet in the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off to say that they had to change the battery. A real bother but not the owner's fault yet no commercial discount in the morning ( I didn't sleep at all starting from 4 in the... More

Clean place and friendly people ( owned by a couple). Rooms are big enough, with nice decoration and the windows let plenty of light to come inside. Breakfast is a typical B&B with an English dish (eggs, sausages, beans etc), coffee etc. Very close to Glenfidich distillery and in the center of highlands. Dufftown is called as the capital of... Friendly house in the middle of Dufftown. We stayed one night in Room 1 at the back of the house. With B&B you get what you pay for. In this case a well- proportioned room overlooking the garden with a small en-suite shower room. Very good breakfast. The weather was not particularly warm and the towels stayed damp in the... More

We arrived for our two night stay to a warm and friendly greeting from Andy and Sue and Bob the Dog. Davaar is in a central location in Dufftown and only a short walk to the stunning Speyside Way. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and all lovely and quiet. There is a huge guest sitting room as well... More

I went down my TripAdvisor Dufftown accommodation listings, E-mailing each B&B separately until I finally found that Davaar had availability (or was willing to take in guests for only 1 night). LUCKY me - for starters, the price was right. Susan, I don't know how you manage to make money at that incredible price! Second, the room was SO cozy...the... More

Andy and Sue is a wonderful host. The breakfast prepared by Sue is fantastic. I would probably enjoyed it more if not for the hang over from all the whiskey. However, I enjoyed my stay at Davaar. Sadly, I'm only staying for one night. If I'm ever in Dufftown again, I'll definitely look to stay with Andy & Sue again.

We had a wonderful 1 night stay when we stayed for 1 night on 30th May. The B&B is very conveniently located just off the clock tower, especially if you intend to take a distillery walk tour which starts from the clock tower. Andy and Sue were extremely friendly and very warm. It was a delight to get to know... More

I stay in Dufftown every week with my wee Lad so we can go to Beavers & Cubs in Dufftown. Andy & Sue very kindly accommodated us for a couple of months. The room was tastefully decorated, spotless, very comfortable - as was the rest of the house. The breakfast was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A perfect place to stay during my visit to Dufftown, with the most comfortable bed of any of my ports of call in Scotland this trip, very friendly and informative hosts, Sue and Andy, and really tasty breakfasts. Plus, it was good to chat with other guests also there due to an interest in whisky.
