This was our second trip to this site - it’s really lovely . The mobile home was spacious and had plenty of shade and clean and well equipped. The restaurant is great . Good pools and plenty of loungers . Everything is kept clean and tidy . All the staff were very friendly. We did miss the little bar - we loved having a more quiet drink there ( the main bar is busy and lively.) Booked direct and communication was good. Highly recommended .
We stayed at this caravan in Benodet with Benodet Breaks in August of this year (2021). We booked this directly with the company who were absolutely fabulous. They bent over backwards to help us find what we needed and to ensure the booking process went smoothly. We arrived at the campsite which is a Yellow Village site and the staff there were very helpful and spoke good English which helped us a lot. We were taken to our caravan and they ensured we had everything we needed before leaving us to enjoy our break. The caravan was spotless and we were very happy with this. The bedding and towels were supplied and there were lots of little extras like board games and books which we used on occasions. The site is a beautiful site and has both a heated indoor pool with slides along with outdoor pools with one of these having slides also. There are plenty of sun loungers available, although it's good to get there early to ensure you get a good spot. There is an outside bar and entertainment area next to the pools along with an indoor bar and restaurant area. There is a large inflatable area next to a small Bouldrome and plenty of small part areas for the kids. The icing on the cake for us was the attached tree tops facility which is amazing. This has facilities to suit toddlers up to the extreme adrenaline junkies and our kids loved this. There are many other facilities on site such as the Go-carts, trampolines, volleyball pitch, spa, arcades, small shop and a good laundrette. The site is in a beautiful area with many beaches and ports, and you can get a local ferry to some of Frances most beautiful islands such as the Glenan islands which look very tropical with their white sands and green waters. All in all, this was a company and site that I would highly recommend to everyone whether holidaying here as a family or simply as a couple or friends. Thank you again to the staff at Benodet breaks for all your support and help. We will be holidaying again with you soon. Regards Paul, Michelle and the kids.…
Perfect family week Overall, kids 10-14 loved it, pool based. Notable: few cars, great for cycling, fantastic e bike rental, minutes from boulengerie and carre four (I didn’t use car for the week) Great staff. All v French, program of activities French aimed. <20% English speaking, good mix mostly French (perhaps as August). Kids loved the evenings also, older kids had a social scene. Cafe/Bar was Ok value. Accom was really good for what it is (we had 4 star glennan so inc dishwasher, no aircon). BBQ, well stocked. The acrobat was fab, good value. Not easy! And Benodet is lovely, we rarely went as the camp was so good for the kids, but the cycle route is lovely, and boat across the Odet. Discussion is if we should go next year, that good. Tips: bring a fan, and pillows if you can.…
Visited on 10th to 19th July 2022- 1st time camping in France. Fantastic campsite- spotlessly clean with tidy landscaping throughout the site. Stayed in 5 person Cottage taos- really clean on arrival with all the amenities listed on the website. Kids enjoyed the arranged activities (foam parties, magic shows etc). Pools were well maintained and suited our kids ages (5, 7 and 9). Brittany is a lovely place to visit- Benodet is very pretty, and lots of historic medieval towns nearby also. Great experience, and wouldn't hesitate to return
spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped with good quality crockery and cutlery, no shortage of anything, including BBQ. Sean was very helpful, the area is beautiful the resort has everything you should need for a memorable holiday. Will certainly stay again and it is highly recommended. The owners special attention to detail makes it a totally relaxing holiday and also very easy to book thanks to the owner Steve. you won't find better anywhere, and we also took advantage of 20% ferry discount with Benodet Breaks. We stayed with our 2 grown up children, from Peter and family
We had an enjoyable 7 days here (4 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 5). The indoor and outdoor pools were great and there was plenty of entertainment for the children. We stayed in a Bretagne cottage mobile home which was clean but slightly small for 6 people. We had excellent free wifi access.
We arrived early to the campsite and despite the website saying check in was at 4pm they where very accommodating and check us in at 2.45. The check in was very easy and we even got a free bag for life (always nice getting anything for free). The mobile home itself was well laid out and modern as well as having a nice little bit of garden area with it which was great for the kids especially my 3 year old daughter. Lots for kids to do and my daughter and son both loved the bouncy castles of which there are 3 large ones and 3 smaller ones beside the largest one. The campsite itself ha as good vibe about it and is very family orientated and feels a very safe environment. They have an excellent indoor pool facility as well as outdoor pools and a decent takeaway window for snacks and a proper resteraujt bar with great food and desserts. The onsite shop is sufficient and you can get a lot your basic here. The good thing about the location is there is also a very nice lattiserie a few hundred yards walk away that is also right next door to a great Carrefour supermarket which is very similar to a Tesco type store. Will 100% be coming back here as unless our previous site we stayed in mobiles are well spaced apart and the site was relatively quiet and relaxing considering it’s mostly families and kids. Our only regret is we only managed to stay here two nights but could have easily stayed two weeks.…
We have 12 nights in Port De Plaisance loved it. Mostly French people were staying there.(We are Irish) Our kids joined all parties made friends even though they were in french they joined in and had great fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kids were never bored. Great memories.
Just returned from great family holiday at the Yelloh camping site, Port de Plaisance near Bénodet. We stayed through Bénodet Breaks who were very easy to deal with from booking, paying, checking in and receiving our returnable cleaning deposit. The mobile home was immaculate and very well equipped with a big green space at the front and lovely large deck. The couriers were helpful, friendly but not intrusive. The site was clean, has everything a family would need and seems well run. In particular the small 'campers only' bar was a delight. Although the site was busy the pool complex was quiet and very clean. The walk along the river to Bénodet itself was really lovely, plenty of bars and great ice creams. It was really useful to have a large supermarket within a 5 min walk to the site. …
Be aware - most of the visitors to this park are French, with the English treated as second rate visitors - the staff in the restaurant were rude to us because we were English. The "welcome party" was all in French - fine if you speak fluent french but my kids couldn't and we left after a short while.....we sat in the cafe nearby and heard it going on in French for over an hour.......... The onsite shop was poorly stocked and was expensive - but there is a large supermarket very near so we used that instead. The takeaway was very good - offered good value and the food was great! The facilities are fine for young children but kids over the age of 8 will be bored. The pool area was always very crowded - far too small for the number of people on site, and the indoor area was always full and a big disappointment. The water slides were very simple and uninspiring. The rental "chalet" was very basic and small, in all the bedrooms there was no room for a bag/suitcase. They are all overlooked by other people and most people used our "garden" as a cut through to access their "chalets" rather than using the path and walking around the corner. Beware there were always children racing around in pedal karts which were too big for them to handle and I saw them hit more than one car. The kids clubs all seemed to be run in french with no provision for kids who couldn't speak fluent french. The final nail in the coffin is that you have to clean the apartment yourself prior to leaving or pay £60 for them to do it.......... this is when they already have a £200 charge on your card taken on arrival. A lovely area to visit once but not much to do around for older kids. A very disappointing holiday - needless to say we won't be back.…
