very nice hotel with excellent food. we stayed for 2 nights, did some hiking at Tenorio Volcano National Park to the bright blue Rio Celeste. The rooms are simple, but the hotel offers lots of place to sit and enjoy the view

We spent three wonderful days at the lodge. Got valuable tips from the host, and enjoyed the stay. Specialities dinner with a good combination of European and regional cuisine, it did to us. The rooms are furnished in a great style.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully designed modern mountain lodge. Joel the owner is warm and very helpful. He has great ideas about activities to do in the area. The food was delicious. The lodge is very well located for exploring Rio Celeste.

We have stayed here for 2 nights. It is really a wonderfull eco-lodge, the building is of superb architecture and completely merges with the green environment. We stayed at room nr 18, which has fabulous views. Bed is good and comfortable. Also the food was very tasty, we could even get a very tasty vegetarian option! In my opinion the... More

Joel, his wife and staff are a very warm group of hosts and served an array of amazing food. Since there are not many places to dine, the French-like dining (typically included) experience infused with CR influence was fantastic, not to mention the great signature cocktails (not included) and fresh squeezed juices. I recommend Celeste Mountain Lodge to any traveler... More

The hotel is superbly located on the slopes of a cloud forest covered volcano. The food is excellent as was the service. The manager has great tips for local activities and is always ready to share them.

We traveled to Celeste Mountain Lodge as a party of two families with a total of three children, ages 6-10. The Lodge was easy to access by car from Bijagua and conveniently located within a few km of the national park entrance. Most importantly, there were great activities on or near the Lodge, including an incredible Night Tour during which... More

The most personal stay at our Costa Rica-trip. Excellent food. The kind hosts mad us feel very welcome. The way of rebuilding made the hotel charming and personal - and inspirational. We did not want to leave.

The view, when clear weather, is absolutely amazing. Dinner was one of the better ones we had in CR. And the nice personal atmosphere made it a a really memorable experience. The room was very clean, excellent shower, and it just made sense and felt proper and nice.

Our travel agent booked us (family, 3 kids) here for 2 nights. Big misstake: it should have Bern much longer. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and they served the best food in whole Costa Rica. There's lots to do around the place. We all loved it, so definitely visit the place..!
