Lovely elegant rustic accommodation in a beautiful hillside location surrounded by pretty gardens attracting many types of birds. Daniel and Dominique are perfect hosts who make sure you are happy during your stay. Warning - Dominique’s homemade baking for breakfast can be dangerous to your waistline.

The hotel owners welcomed us with great dedication and kindness. We had had a bad day and they took time to tell us about the attractions of the area. They have prepared their own version of a tour guide and thanks to that our day has changed. The room reflects a great love for details, the area has hanging bridges, birdwatching tours, reptiles, etc. and blue-colored rivers ... The hotel is clearly marked in google and is easily accessible.

Amazing ! This was our third hotel in Costa Rica out of five, and was by far our favorite. The place is run by a very friendly French family. They make sure everything is okay. There aren't many rooms, so the place must fill up fast sometimes. We had an incredible room with a king sized bed. On our front balcony there was a hammock we could swing on while taking in the view of the forests and mountains. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. No air conditioning but it wasn't necessary with the windows and patio door open. There is a cabinet that locks for your valuables. This was also the first room in which we had a mini-fridge to keep my beers cold. The included breakfasts are an experience. While they make you a delicious home-made breakfast to start your day, you can watch all kinds of exotic birds eat the fruits they've placed twenty feet away from your table. We saw many beautiful birds, including a group of toucans. All together, this was our favorite hotel throughout our Costa Rica trip. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dear Eric and Véronique, We would like to thank you for this super-nice review, You make us blush with pleasure ! Yes, we have only 7 rooms, it is the real limit . More than that we could not keep the personalized attention that made our reputation. To prepare the all-you-can-eat-and-drink-breakfasts is also a real pleasure for us, thanks for appreciating this. Thanks also for your friendly attitude, you have a 5/5 from us ! Hope to see you again here. In the meantime, please accept our best regards, Daniel, Dominique and Maeva

I spent one night here with my father and step mother Jan 26 2020. I had just arrived on a red eye flight from Calgary Canada and was super tired, they were very accommodating and let us into our room early so I could rest! The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds were gorgeous. Maeva checked us in and provided us with details of the area. Overall the whole family was very friendly, we really felt at home. Breakfast the next morning was delicious - fruit, sweet bread and eggs. Will definitely recommend and will be back!

Hello Danielle, What a surprise and with that a super review. Thanks a lot for your time. We remember well you and relatives, so sympathetic, we have spend a good time with you, With two nights here you could have felt much mor confortable but we understand there are so many things to see in Costa Rica. We stayed there in December 2019 and very much enjoyed our time. The rooms (let's better say: little houses) are just great. You feel at home immediately when you arrive. You can use the hot tub and the hosts serve you a great breakfast. Our son forgot his soft toy when we left and the hosts helped us immediately to send it back to Germany. We are extremely grateful for this help but also for a fantastic stay at the B&B. Many thanks,

As a custom tour planner I am always looking for the facilities and staff that offer a 'cut above' in amenities and service. I'd give Sueño Celeste a '6' if I could as it excels in all aspects. Daniel and Dominique are lovely hosts, provide a wealth of info and assistance, and are super attentive to every detail in their well-equipped rooms. It's not often you find a room as well equipped even in 4-5 star hotels. The multitude of tours offered in the area are all accessible here and Daniel will make sure you get the most out of them. Everyone comes to visit the Rio Celeste (which is amazing) but there's so much more; wildlife, birding, tubing, rafting, night tours, horseback, volcano, hot springs, and more. Ask for the exceptional guide, Jorge Soto, if interested in birding and wildlife tours.
