Despite a difficult start to the stay due to a receptionist who was a bit limited in terms of empathy, the Director was on top and resolved our accommodation problem in a very short time. A big thank-you.
As for the rest of the stay, apart from the weather which was really not good, the staff in the restaurant took great care, especially Kim and the ''++versatile'' Marie who also did everything to be very helpful to us. pleasant. Thanks again to both of them in particular.
On the other hand, I have a lot of reservations about the reception and the presence of a seminar of 160 people which considerably disturbed the "lamda" vacationers.
Endless queues at the various buffets when we were unlucky enough to get off at the same time as them leaving the seminar room. Let's not even talk about the large bar room permanently occupied by exhibitors, the buffets reserved only for seminarians and in full view of everyone, etc. etc. (discrimination?)
Too bad for the peace of mind of vacationers who come to rest ''outside school holidays'' with a good dozen children over 3 years old while school is compulsory!!! Not to be repeated in these conditions!!

First surprised by the "labyrinth", I got used to it having discovered shortcuts...
Bedroom :
- good size
- good bedding
- a balcony but no view, damage
- a little dated/worn in places (plinths around the bed: traces of humidity/wear, evacuation pipe for the inhabitants above right next to the bed: noise...)
- lack of equipment: drying rack, another table to put things on would have been welcome. Need more electrical outlets in living space.
- paid wifi, frankly, is "has been" (especially at these prices: 3.50 e / day!) Would be acceptable for 7 e / week (we're far from it!)

The catering: I appreciated at breakfast:
- pomelos and oranges cut into quarters are much more convenient to eat!
- real coffee, in bean machines, finally!
I least liked :
- the first price white bread and not cooked enough, while in the evening there was better quality bread. I would have preferred the opposite (or both!)
Overall the meals were OK, nothing more (sometimes lacking in taste), but I missed regional dishes and more variety in the cheeses.

The center is well located for hiking near Lake Pavin, Lake Chauvet...or towards Murol, Lake Chambon...etc.
The free ticket for the Perdrix gondola return trip with direct access to the Sancy peaks is a very good idea.
The presence of Lac des Hermines where you can swim for free, 5 minutes away by car, is a real plus.

A great week!

We came as a family 2 adults and 2 young children, the week of 31.12! What a pleasure to discover this belambra club! Everything was perfect:
- clean and spacious room for us 4 with all the practical amenities for a return to skiing (coat rack, towel dryer, cupboards ++ =, fridge)
- smiling, dynamic team, with little care. They spend hours not counting and are very pleasant. Hats off to the Wonka show that was definitely worth seeing!
- the returns skis at 16:30 with snacks, hot chocolate mulled wine a delight!
- the quality of the restaurant, +1 for the New Year's Eve menu that was to fall! not counting the fireworks, aperitif, bottle of wine
- the geolocation: green ski slope at the top of the external staircase, we could take it with our son to descend to the resort on Wednesday (first week of skiing for him)
- the transport service for children in the morning during ski lessons with Germain
- the different activities or outings offered
- the 6:00 p.m. aperitifs
- the daycare for our 3-year-old daughter who spent a great afternoon there and did a lot of activity!
- the premises are super beautiful, well heated (except the corridors to reach the accommodation but it is normal), and well decorated for Christmas!

Really, an exceptional stay, we let you know and say it again here! we did not understand how people could come to complain!! And above all how can we afford to talk to you like this: these people are a disgrace! Keep going like this, everything is great!

For future customers things to know:
- big galley if you have an electric car, there is 1 charging station down at the tourist office but to succeed to have it is mission impossible. At the end of the club on the other side of the bus shelter there are 2 charging sockets, but low intensity it takes at night to recharge.
- during school holidays it is difficult to use the shuttles because too many people +++ they do not take passengers after a while. So drive back and forth to the station...
- in school holidays galley +++ to take the package on Sunday or Monday (new system 2025) 1h waiting
-if it snows you can't climb the club without chains, because there is a big climb to get there

We know this belambra club well because we have already stayed 4 times (family stay). We had not been there for 3 years and during this last stay in August 2024 we noticed a clear deterioration of the services and services of this club.

Nothing wrong with the location of the club. In addition, there are many Things to do in and around beautiful locations! Nothing wrong with the reception (smiling and pleasant staff).
You have to have big arms to carry luggage to your room, but as we had already experienced this club we know that we must favor backpacks rather than suitcases!

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food and the quality of the meals. The restaurant looks like a school canteen or a low-end Inn...
During breakfasts: there were no more cups so we had to serve our coffees in glasses... moreover, we noticed that there was less choice than on our previous stays. The refueling of the dishes was not fast, we had to wait a long time... even very long!
During dinners: no pitchers to help water, salad bowls and dishes remained empty... The staff seemed overwhelmed...

Generally speaking:
Some restaurant staff were not able to answer us as to the content of the dishes....
No information about food allergens, which can be very serious especially in case of food allergy risks...
In conclusion, we were disappointed with the quality of our stay and we unfortunately think we will not return if the quality does not improve...

Good morning,
Before booking, like everyone else, I consulted the reviews to get an idea of the Club but despite some negative reviews I decided to trust Belambra…..big mistake.
Only the location of the Club is worth the trip because it is located on the heights of Super Besse, for the rest go your own way……
Upon our arrival we had a room located at the end of the building, to access it it is a maze of corridors and stairs, in short far from the living areas and difficult to access with suitcases, bags……..so we asked to change rooms with a nice remark: 'you don't like stairs'...no comments....
We therefore had a room closer to reception but unfortunately the comments about the dilapidation of the rooms were true (see photos). Mold, peeling paint, crude touch-ups....
Concerning the meals, Belambra responded to distant opinions that he was trying to improve the quality of the services based on customer feedback……well you have to explain to me what has changed then because the quality of the meal, from breakfast to dinner. is LAMENTABLE……horrible scrambled eggs, defrosted bread and sometimes barely cooked, poorly presented cold starters, very simple, flavorless dishes and no specialties except one day in the week when we were served potatoes with cheese called truffade……in short…..(or rather yes, we should have paid a little extra for a special meal….). The next day we found dishes revisited in a dubious way. The dining room was noisy and packed even though we ''normally'' have to reserve a slot for meals.
By the way, the reservation of this slot is done on a Belambra application but for those who do not have an internet connection on the laptop you will have to pay from €3.50 per day to €15 or even €20 per week for WIFI .
Finally, the soundproofing of the rooms leaves something to be desired, and if you are unlucky enough to have disrespectful people around you, good luck……

In summary, very poor value for money, old structure, horrible meals, just a beautiful view.....

After a week's stay, I cannot recommend this establishment enough. The main reason for this is the blatant lack of hygiene. Cleaning is carried out superficially, whether in the rooms or common areas. Dead flies are present in corners and even in ceiling lamps. However, the most deplorable point concerns the self-service restaurant. Nearly 90% of dishes are dirty, with stains and food residue.
In addition to the hygiene issues, I agree with many other reviews who criticize the quality of the food at the restaurant. Everything seems frozen and lacks seasoning.
Additionally, the rooms require significant renovation. They are not soundproofed at all, you can hear the neighbors and the noises from the corridor. In my case, the bathroom door didn't even close properly.
The only positive point is the entertainment offered daily. The entertainers are full of energy and always smiling.

We think we were upgraded in view of the room which was very good compared to those of other travelers we met on the site. The children's clubs are limited for very young children with the host Olivia who is not at all suitable for taking care of young children, my daughter who never cries at nursery, screamed and was terrified to go there. return.
The teen club, Rachid and Basile are at the top and have adapted to the desires of teenagers throughout the week, even during their rest time.
The welcome, everyone very smiling and responsive.
Alexis, the entertainment manager, is excellent, accommodating and attentive to customers. As for the bar, well done to Ambre, but the service remains poor for Raphaël.
The restaurant tries to offer varied and themed dishes, the quality/price ratio is consistent.
Overall we had a good week. We regret not having done two.

It was cool.
Very pleasant staff.
Just the meals a little complicated but more due to certain vacationers who forgot that in France there is no food shortage.
Small accommodation anyway. At least it forces you to go out.
The site is very very beautiful.
To start again and to recommend.
Thank you everyone.
A special well done to all the staff who manage the meals. This goes from the cook to all those who clear the tables and who clean up with a smile the cups and plates that fall and break on the floor.

A great family stay in this center where we came 13 years ago. Free activities (visits, hikes) are now subject to payment but this keeps a good value for money.
The accommodation and bedding are impeccable, the apartment is quiet at the end of a large corridor, really nice.

The buffet is hearty and varied, a little more homemade would be appreciated
Big positive for the packed lunches where we made remarks about the quality and composition on the first day, this was taken into account immediately and rectified the next day!

For the kids clubs at the fox house special mention for Ludine who took very good care of our little Garance
On the other hand for teenagers no activity proposed in the morning so they came to hike with us
And in the afternoon they were offered board games! In the mountains there are so many other things to do (track play, landart, bivouac....) we should really review all this

Amzha at the bar is adorable though closing the bar at 9:45 pm?! A little early during the holidays ....
No entertainment on Friday or Saturday night? OK it’s the Olympics but for those who are not invested it would be nice if we offered something else
Neon evening very well organized on the other hand catastrophic karaoke evening: no transition in songs, completely transparent host.
1 evening show of the animators, bravo it was successful.
Singer Ben J. has an amazing voice thank you for this great concert.
We recommend this center for a peaceful holiday in the mountains!

To begin with, I would point out, like many people, the lack of hygiene in the establishment, flies in the middle of January, some dead people who stay there all day, the dishes in the restaurant are dirty, we know what people from before ate, I heard lots of parents say their children were sick and our daughter came home sick too! The kitchen staff is unfriendly, if you ask what the sauce is, watch out! Some evenings there was nothing left to eat after 7:45 p.m. and when we dared to remark we were attacked again! If you stay for a week, no cleaning during your stay, you are not even offered to change your bath towels, even the hallway has not been cleaned all week! Soundproofing is non-existent, and when your upstairs neighbor lets you sleep, it's the fire alarm at 6:30 a.m. that wakes you up and the why and how of which will never be explained to you. Of course there are always good excuses, the staff is new, etc... for breakfast it's the same one out of two coffee machines is broken every morning and you have to be patient to get your coffee if you arrive during rush hour.
You must also check your bank account since the credit card imprint of the checker is used to take money from you even though you have paid for your stay in advance, money that we only deign to reimburse you after your stay!
In short, too bad for the rather friendly entertainment team who are desperately trying to make up for it... and to end up hearing the receptionist say "I'm starting to lack empathy with all these unpleasant people", the height of it!
