Set out over a hillside.Lovely grounds but steep.Lots of cats! Buggies to get you around were in short supply. Our room was very dark.Attached to the main building so no climbing but not recommended.I called the corridor to our room like walking to a prison cell. Food was OK but very much like a canteen. Wine was undrinkable and coffee not much better. Upper pool was lovely to sit around with a nice bar attached ,but freezing cold water. Lovely views. Lots of leaks when it rained! Dangerous road outside to walk along. Very much a mixed bag.

Hotel's Favorite
Me, my wife and 14 Yr old daughter spent 12 beautiful nights at this resort. The views from this this hotel are insane, totally amazing. The hotel accommodation is spread out on a hillside (don't be put off) in well kept atrractive grounds. We found all areas were well maintained and very clean. We had a superior sea view bungalow (619) that was very modern and had amazing views towards Albania and mainland Greece. The food was always very good and so much to choose from. The main buffet restaurant has theme nights and again fantastic sea views from the spectacular terrace. On the beach you can have amazing made to order pasta dishes as well as freshly made pizzas, oh and crepes, waffles and ice cream. From the top pool you can order freshly. made rolls with the filling of you choice and chips. By the main building pool you can get mini burgers and chips. We booked both the table service dining experiences and again both were very good, lovely presented food and great service. Both pools again are lovely with great views, the beds by the top pool get taken fairly early (08:30hrs) but the main pool and beach have plenty and you didn't need to rush down. The private beach is accessed by a tunnel. The beach is narrow with stones but beautiful (recommend beach shoes), The sea is calm and clear and once out a little way sandy under foot and never too busy. Whilst the resort is quite large it never seems crowded there are so many places to eat drink and relax, it really is paradise. Beer refreshing and the wine is very good. Some premium spirits are also included. All the staff at this resort work so hard and should be so proud (they make customer's holiday so special). Easily the best 4 star I've been to and deserves to be 5 stars. Whilst this hotel is set on a hill, it would only be an issue for people with serious mobility issues. I can't rate this hotel high enough. Absolutely fantastic, thank you. Tips, If your feeling fit and fancy a 20 minute uphill walk, leave the hotel by the back road (past the tennis court) and follow the signs to Achilleion Museum. There you can find a bar / restaurant called La Nova Bella Vista, the views from the bars terrace are simply beautiful. You can catch a bus from outside the hotel to Corfu Town, tickets are 1.50 from the hotel shop the bus runs regularly but is busy .

This hotel has so much to offer and so much potential, but unfortunately the rooms are not up there on that list. Our room(602 I think) was damp, moisture running down the wall and mouldy smelling, it was actually so bad that when we went to visit friends in Paleo we decided to stay there two nights. It was also under a stairwell and while we love cats, clearly there toilet was right outside our door. I think we were unlucky in the room we were given and had a not been travelling with an autistic child, I would possibly have asked to move. The room was filthy, we were slipping on the floor in our shoes when we arrived so we removed them thinking it had just been cleaned, within 10mins our socks were black. The room had no extractor fan in the shower so every day the smoke alarm went off and our room filled up with the steam, with no way of escaping. The room also go no sun, adding to the damp issue. Also meant we could not dry any of our swimming thing. The moisture in this room was so bad, all of our clothes felt damp. The pools and grounds here are amazing, as are the a la carte restaurants, but the buffet was horrendous, we were here end of season, so I have no idea how it is managed in high season. The staff are nice and the bus service right outside is a big bonus. The beach whilst small is pleasant as is the pizza/pasta buffet restaurant at the beach.

Well here we are once again. Sixth time visit. This time for a whole month. Mad aren't we.....or are we? Being canny parsimonious Yorkshire people we love a bargain. I won't tell you the pricing structure of the tour operator we used but let's just say for £600 we stayed for an extra two weeks each on top of the standard two week price. A no brainer as especially the exact same holiday next year is currently priced at over £4000. The weather, which is out of control of the hotel, was fabulous. In 28 days of our visit it only rained twice. It was quite comical watching the head gardener buzzing round on his scooter with an umbrella up. As always our stay was fabulous. Attentive staff everywhere apart from an evening blip where the main restaurant seemed to be struggling with the number of diners. The food choice was vast with plenty to eat and replenishments arriving as soon as one lot ran out. We both have a wide taste in food so good to see themed events two or three times a week. Nice to see the addition, from last year, of an outdoor verandah onto the dining room great views to be had from there. It's very pleasing to see the number of staff who recognised us both from previous visits and the general bemusement when we said we were here for a month. All the staff kept themselves busy but still managed a moment or two to have a chat with us. The room was clean and bedding or towels changed every day depending on when the room was on the rota. Bar staff were very efficient switching languages seemlessly between French, German and of course English for us lazy Brits. I must also say that all the guests,as far as we could see, got on with each other very well with courtesy being shown on just about all occasions. Well done to one and all. The hotels gardens were kept spick and span by a small army of workers who kept themselves busy. Well done boys. We were fairly near the top of the resort but no problems the golf buggy took us to our room when requested. Thank you Spiros you are a lovely man. We must admit we are sounding a bit like ambassadors for this hotel but we are not blind to little cracks in the hotel system. But all in all this hotel is in an envious position with more than reasonable food and drink clean but simple rooms but most of all a dedicated staff that coped with any situation that was thrown at them. It did feel they were being stretched it little too far sometimes but they coped admirably. Pavlos you are a love. Never change who you are. Thank you for a fabulous four weeks. Chris and Helen Airey. Like James Bond " we will be back"

We had an amazing, relaxing holiday, as a family, good food and drink, the staff were friendly, helpful and made our holiday enjoyable. We stayed at The aeolos for the last 2 weeks of the season in October. We had a wonderful time, we were a party of six, 3 generations and there was something for all of us. We booked 3 garden view bungalows between us all. The staff were warm and welcoming from the start, nothing was too much trouble. Grandad had mobility issues, and the resort is hilly, but Dimitri with his cart was amazing, so grandad was able to go around the resort with ease. Granddad and Grandma had a room change at the beginning of the holiday, due to his mobility, and they were moved nearer the main building, which was so much easier for them, the reception staff were great arranging that for us, it was really appreciated. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a small fridge, kettle, hairdryer, airconand fantastic views from the veranda/balcony. The cleaner came in daily, always smiling, and refreshed towels and linen. The food was abundant, so much to choose from, and good quality. I applaud the staff, they are so helpful and friendly, and they work so hard. The main restaurant can get busy, and loud, on occasion my son stayed in his room, and the staff was so kind, and helped me 'take away' a box of food to his room. We ate at both the a la carte restaurants too, and the food was delicious at both, but my favourite was the beach restaurant, the views are beautiful. The beach is just a short walk down a tunnelled path, or a buggy ride to the bottom, and a walk across the road. Here you will find a beach bar, restaurant, crepe bar, sunbeds, volley ball and pedalo /paddle board hire. The beach is sandy, but has a few stones as you go in the sea, plenty of beds on the beach or chairs on the wood platforms over the water, the sea is lovely, quite shallow for a good while, and was warm in October! Great for snorkeling as their are lots of fish to see. The beach restaurant serves lovely lunches, with salad, freshly made pizza, and pasta dishes made to order. The crepe booth, serves crepes, waffles and ice cream, the bar has a good selection of soft drinks, spirits/beers and cocktails. There is a regular bus that you can catch at the bottom of the resort, by the road, which takes you to Corfu Town or binitses. You can buy bus tickets in the hotel shop. There is also a excursion business over the road, that you can take bus tours of the island, boat trips ect. Well done and thank you to all the staff, we will hopefully return soon.

Stayed here towards the end of the season (oct23-30) Pros Staff were very friendly Great location (20 mins bus ride to Corfu old town - bus stop is right infront) Right infront of the beach which had really clear waters 5 min away from another nice village (Benitses) Has a shop inside and also a mini market across the hotel Great panoramic views from room and also the lobby/kitchen The room was modern with plenty of storage (seaview room) Food selection was great (buffet style) Drinks selection were plenty, cocktails also good (not heavy drinkers so this one can vary) Lovely beach area Cons Quite hilly (we're quite young/fit-ish and were still huffing at times, will be an issue for people with mobility issues but you can ask for a buggy to get you around) Pools were freezing (but the views were incredible - if you want to swim, the beach is much warmer)

We had the most amazing time in Corfu staying at this resort! The food was brilliant everyday. All the staff were so helpful and lovely. All round 10/10. We had so much fun. It was great to have the choice of the pools and the beach. Absolutely loved the a la carte menu by the beach! Very handy to have the bus stop outside the resort to travel into Corfu Town.

Nice large hotel with plenty of bars and two swimming pools. Only used the infinity pool a couple of times as the water was very cold. A handful of the staff were nice and friendly but many others could do with a lesson in how to provide good customer service. The food was ok but could do with more choices really and tables to be laid out properly as many times there was cutlery missing. Had an issue with our room and it did get sorted quickly and we were moved to a better room but the lady at reception wasn't the most friendly.

We were only here for a weekend but everything was just perfect for our impromptu break with our family. We made a late decision to join our daughter and her family who are currently travelling in Europe in their campervan. We wanted to treat them all (daughter, partner and two children ages 7 and 9) to two nights in a hotel as a break from their van and so that we could make the most of our time together. The rates at this All Inclusive resort seemed very reasonable and I was a bit worried about the quality but decided that All Inclusive was the way to go as it was only for such a short time. We weren't disappointed!! It turned out to be fantastic value for money! And the quality was excellent. Firstly, our rooms. We had opted for 2 x triple rooms with seaview and this worked out well. I had (correctly) guessed that if we had a family room and a double they might have been in different locations but the two triple rooms were next to each other which was great for such a short stay. The rooms were very spacious and we actually moved one of the mattresses so that both children were with their parents (their preference) and they still had plenty of room. They were well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge with bottled water, a complimentary bottle of wine and bowl of fresh fruit. The showers were very powerful and also well equipped with good quality toiletries. And those views!! They were awesome!! We were lucky with the weather and saw beautiful sunrises from our balcony. And our daughter and her partner enjoyed having a nightcap on theirs while the children slept. They were both totally private and with uninterrupted views of the sea. As the resort is perched on a hillside the views are also great from both swimming pools, the restaurants, the bars, etc. So basically all public areas. I suppose the downside of this is that it is hilly. However, we didn't find it too bad and even our daughter's partner (who has mobility problems after a stroke) managed well. And the resort do have a buggy service for anyone who needs it. The beach is quite small and is a mix of sand and shingle. It is packed with loungers which may be necessary in high season but I would suggest that some could be cleared when it is less busy. When we were there, there were only a handful of people using them so most were empty and just taking up space! My only other minor criticism was that the beach showers were rather illogically situated ON the beach so it wasn't possible to shower the sand off and then return to the hotel with non-sandy feet. Simply placing a foot shower by the path up to the hotel would solve this problem. But these are really only minor issues. Our grandchildren (and therefore the adults accompanying them!) had a lovely morning on the beach. One of the advantages of having some rocky areas was that it made it more interesting and they enjoyed snorkelling and seeing lot of small fish. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to sample the beach restaurant but did make full use of the beach bar! And we noticed that there were two pool tables, a table tennis tables and various watersports available though some weren't operational on this last weekend of the season. We also enjoyed both of the swimming pools although they ARE a bit chilly this late in the season. But this didn't deter the grandchildren who played for hours in them! A major plus for this hotel are the staff who are extremely friendly and eager to ensure people have a good time. As we had a late flight and this was the last weekend before the hotel closed for the winter, they said we were welcome to keep our rooms until we left and to use the facilities for the entire day. We were really amazed by this as it included all the meals and drinks. My husband and I left at around 5.30 but our daughter and family were even encouraged to have an evening meal before they left in their camper van. The children were super-impressed with the All-Inclusive concept (which they hadn't experienced before) and loved being able to get popcorn, ice creams and soft drinks whenever they liked. Very different from watching the budget in their campervan but it was just as well it was only two days as they were buzzing by the end of it!! When they were leaving they apparently told the reception staff that it was the best hotel they had ever stayed in!! Praise indeed! The adults were similarly impressed by the quality of the food and the availability of drinks from the bar - though we would echo those people who don't recommend the rather sickly cocktails. After sampling a couple, we found it better to stick to beer and wine and other off the shelf beverages. We mainly ate at the buffet restaurant as the children found it fun to go and choose their food. But we did have one a la carte meal (also included) and this was superb. But far too much food! - there was an extraordinary number of appetizers and starters and we didn't really need the main course by the time it arrived (far less the dessert!) I felt sad to leave so much of my excellent lamb but just didn't have room for it all. If we'd been staying for longer we would have loved to try the beach restaurant and the burger bars but sadly our stay was too short. Still, it gives us a good motivation to repeat this experience. And we all agreed that we would love to! Thank you so much to everyone at Aeolos Beach resort who made our stay so special.

My wife and I had stayed at the Aeolos Beach Resort on many occasions previously, the last time in 2019. We had been looking forward to this 3 week holiday for a long time, as the pandemic had delayed our return visit. I think that a new review may be of use to others. The welcome we received when we walked into the Hotel was so warm - familiar smiling faces of people who were genuinely pleased to see us - It felt like we were 'home' again ! Check in was as smooth and simple as always, and within minutes our luggage was helpfully loaded into a golf buggy by one of the friendly driver/porters for us and we were on our way to our accomodation - an upper floor bungalow with a lovely view through the gardens to the mainland (see photo) Throughout our stay the Receptionists and Concierge were always happy to assist with any queries or requests we had. Special thanks to Mr Kostas and his people. The bungalow had been refurbished during the pandemic, and couldn't be faulted. A huge bed, lots of storage space - cupboards and drawers, ample power points, safe, large screen tv, comfortable couch, fridge, tea and coffee making equipment and ingredients, bottled water, large well equipped bathroom with bath and a separate powerful shower, with quality toletries, fluffy towels and bathrobes, slippers The balcony was a good size, with comfortable cushioned chairs and a good sized table. We would like to thank Hotel Management for welcoming us back with a bottle of good wine, a selection of Greek pastries and a large platter of freshly prepared fruit ! (see photo) Housekeeping was to a high standard - we regularly met team members, who always gave us a friendly greeting We received daily visits, with constant changes of towels etc. We returned from the Beach one day to find an artistic display on our bed - so sweet ☺(see photo) We used both of the restaurants which served breakfast - the Main Restaurant in the central complex and the Ionian Restaurant above the entertainment area. Both locations offered a really good selection of quality food, well presented and tasty, with attentive staff - a great way to start the day ! Lunchtime provided lots of choices - light meals/snacks were available at the Lagoon Pool Bar and on the Terrace Kiosks adjacent to the Lower Pool, with multiple choices of hot and cold meals buffet style in the Main Restaurant, and freshly cooked pizza and pasta plus salads at the Beach restaurants - not forgetting waffles, crêpes and icecream. Something for everybody ! Dinner arrangements were different again: The Ionian and Beach Restaurants transformed into à la carte venues, with guests able to eat once at each restaurant during their holiday as part of the All Inclusive Package. Each restaurant had its' own 'ambiance', both quite romantic - The Ionian, on the hillside with stunning views across the Ionian Sea towards the mainland, the Beach with the sea gently lapping onto the shore only a few metres from our table.(see photo) Offering separate menus, with a wide variety of starters served and a good choice of mains, plus gorgeous desserts, the quality of the food served and the standard of presentation at both restaurants was excellent. We would like to give our compliments and thanks to the various Teams who looked after us so well wherever we ate - the Executive Chef and his Brigades for their skills and expertise in preparing such a variety of offerings to a consistently high standard, and the three Supervisors (Filimonas, Vangelis and Leta) and their friendly and hard working people - (many of whom had looked after us on previous visits, and greeted us like friends) who did their best to make sure that all guest needs were taken care of. The All Inclusive Beverage package had changed since our last visit - it was previously very good, this time it was even better ! The key differences ? The All Inclusive Beverage Package now operates until Midnight - previously it 'ended' at 11pm. The Lagoon Pool Bar now operates on an All Inclusive basis until late at night - it used to become a Cocktail Bar in the evenings with drinks paid for separately. Wine in the Restaurant used to be limited to House Wine dispensed by the glass, now there is also a wide selection of quality bottled Greek wines - red, white and rosé. In addition to the wide range of Greek spirits previously offered - which were and still are of a good quality - various International brands are now included, for example Smirnoff Vodka. Gordon's Gin and Bailey's Irish Liqueur. We certainly slept well :) after an evening in one of the bars of which there are five : Beach Bar during the day Terrace Bar outside the Main Restaurant, open daytime and evening Lagoon Pool Bar open daytime and evening Main Bar open in the evenings until very late - on a 'pay basis' after midnight 'Entertainment Bar' - if that's its' correct name ! - adjacent to the stage and auditorium, open in the evenings. Service at all the bars was excellent, as it had always been - once again we were recognized and made to feel special - compliments and thanks to Grigoris and his great Team. Entertainment in the evenings was very good, with lots of live music. We went to a 'Disco Party' one evening - good fun ! The Animation Team arranged a variety of regular activities every day, for young and old - we chose to relax on the beach and enjoy the sun ! We would also like to say a special 'thankyou' to two true gentlemen, Mr Tsinganos, CEO of the Voulgaris Hospitality Group, who own the Hotel, and Mr Bersimis, Hotel Manager, who both found time on many occasions during our stay to talk to us - they genuinely care about their guests, We had a really good holiday, and were rather sad to leave - the Aeolos Beach Resort is a wonderful place, made even more special by all the hardworking people there who always greet you with a smile ! We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Aeolos Beach Resort to any Tripadvisor reader considering an All Inclusive holiday in Corfu. Thank you for taking the time to read this review - I hope that you found it informative.
