We stayed in the annex in a very large clean room, with window onto lightwell so there were no views although this meant it was very quiet. There is nothing remarkable about this place but it is clean, tidy and centrally located.

We were really well looked after at Dona Lola and the both the reception & bar staff were so friendly & helpful. The room was pleasant enough although as we had two single beds pushed together there was no way it could have felt like a double bed so maybe not the best for a romantic getaway! Our rooms balcony...

We booked last minute and got such a good deal we agreed to pay the extra for breakfast. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming. The pool and garden a rare treat in the centre of town. Our room was huge with a luxurious bed, large bathroom and a massive sun terrace looking over the rooftops. We had...

Then we are back again. Every thing is spot on. This is not the place for party people but fantastic when you need to chill and just be. Dona Lola are friendly and they try to do the best for you. We had very good time and hope to be back again in a few months. Thank you. This time...

We booked at the hotel Dona Lola, 4 star hotel, but was placed on a 2 star annexe to hotelet. We had no pool as promised and had to walk a few 100 meters to the main hotel for our breakfast. The car park is also situated half a kilometer from hotelet, but well worth using as parking in town...

We came here because of a catastrophe known as Atlanterra beach apartments. That place was a toilet, so we started strolling Zahara de Los atunes. Happening upon Dona Lola was a godsend. It is magnificent in the way a cold glass of water is on a sweltering day. From the gorgeous lobby (where Dona Lola sits most days) to the...

We stopped here for one night en route from Gibraltar to Cadiz. The hotel is lovely with the public areas extremely well kept and laid out. We ended up with two rooms and a sitting room with two bathrooms! No staff spoke English but this wasn't a problem bar when it came to breakfast. We had tea and toast at...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Doña Lola Hotel in Zahara de los atunes. Our room was large and spacious, comfortable bed and well located near lots of restaurants and a short walk to the beach The only downside was that wifi didn't reach our room much to my husband's dismay

I stayed in this hotel in April 2014 for 4 days coming up to Easter Sunday. The staff don't speak much english but they more than make up for it in their friendly nature and genuine desire to do everything they can for you. Hotel is spotless clean and rooms are spacious. Nice pool, jacuzzi and gardens outside. The breakfast...

Stayed for 3nights on recommendation of Spanish friends. Lovely hotel with modern facilities but old world charm -family friendly. Guests were mostly Spanish and little English spoken. Small seaside town with small bars and restaurants. Some can be a bit pricey. Normally this area is very windy. During our stay, high winds made use of the beach impossible but we...
