I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights at the end of August with my partner.

I had good expectations and they have been more than met. We purchased a "Junior Suite Superior" room which was not exactly cheap but, once the trip was over, we believe that the price matches what the hotel offers.

The room was very large, very complete and generally had all the comforts you would expect, including a small terrace. The bed is very comfortable and allows you to rest well.

The hotel has several swimming pools, including an indoor one that not many guests used despite it being very good.

We ate twice in the restaurant and the experience was very good. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner except for the food that is recommended outside the menu. We highlight the Huelva prawns, the beef tenderloin and the oxtail croquettes.

The hotel has several parking lots and we have not had any problems parking, despite having gone out with the car to the town every day.

As for breakfast, the truth is that it is very varied (some things change from one day to the next) and complete.

We also positively highlight the kindness and professionalism on the part of all employees.

As I said in the title, the hotel was very quiet at all hours. There were not many children and in general, there was a lot of peace.

We are very happy to have stayed during our vacation. It is very likely that we will return soon.

We have been spending part of our holiday in the Cortijo de Zahara, we love to go!. The hotel is very well located and well maintained, the garden, the pools, the tranquility there is although this quite full is ideal to relax and enjoy the holidays together with the surroundings and the proximity to its great beaches. The staff is always very attentive and the gastronomic offer they offer is very well. We will continue repeating without any doubt!!.

The service is absolutely excellent and above all possible expectations. You feel in a paradise of disconnection.

Breakfast and dinner som fantastic. The comfort of the location is unmatched and you never feel that the hotel is overcrowded. The breadth and number of sites makes you feel calm and unfussed.

We chose this hotel for our holiday within a holiday, where we like to go and discover Andalusian pastures new.
We have visited the Costa Del La Luz on a number of occasions, but were still taken aback by the beauty of Zahara De Las Atunes.
It has stunning turquoise seas and a gorgeous white powder beach that literally stretches for miles. The hotel we settled on, The Cortijo Zahara de las Atunes, was positioned at the furthest point along the beach from the town in a newer development called Atlanterra.
The hotel is very well appointed with the nucleus of the hotel being in an old Spanish Cortijo style (Hence the name) with more modern outbuildings of accommodation and other facilities surrounding it.
The first bonus is that there is free underground car parking. As you’ll be aware, parking in even a slightly built up area in Spain can be awkward and costly, so thanks for that.
Staff were, from the first to the last interaction, courteous, friendly, well presented, professional and above all were all smiling…..which is something that really jumps out at you, no matter which country you’re in.
My personal favourite was the pool attendant, this guy was all the above with a substantial pinch of OCD which is a great attribute to have in your locker when you’re duties include straightening up pool furniture for most of your shift…..good effort son!
The hotel is in a great spot, surrounded by premium apartments and houses, there’s definitely some money down this end of the beach, which by the way was a short 5 minute stroll away….another bonus.
As we weren’t sure of the local area and had been travelling, for our first evening meal we booked a table in the hotel’s restaurant. It was good all round but we made up a 3rd of the occupants in a rather large room plus balcony area which kinda killed the experience……Sorry, scratch that, there were 2 cats, so we made up a quarter of the occupants.
Second night we took a walk and about 15 mins away, just back from the beach found a small collection of bars and restaurants, but that’s about it within walking distance. The third night of our stay we drove a few miles to the town of Zahara which was lovely. It has a real Spanish seaside town feel and boasts a great collection of bars and eateries, located in some lovely quaint streets and alleyways.
So here’s the rub, if you’re going to this hotel with the intention of melting into its luxuriously appointed facilities, sprinkled with the odd walk down to the beach to shake off the cobwebs, it can’t be faulted and I’d definitely recommend it.
But if you like to escape from the hotel on occasion, especially in the evening as we do, you may want to consider a hotel nearer the main town.

The hotel is beautiful and the exterior facilities are unbeatable. The gardens are very well cared for and the decoration is detailed. The room disappointed me a lot because it had nothing to do with the images offered on the website. We let reception know and they did not hesitate to change our room. But although the room was undoubtedly better, it was not well insulated and you could hear absolutely everything from the neighboring rooms.
Another detail that I didn't like was when I asked about the heated pool and the massage service. I wanted to request a massage in their wellness area and they explained to me that this service was provided by an external company and they gave me a telephone number so I could manage it. I think that a four-star hotel should not resolve a client's request in this way.

Our stay at the Cortijo de Zahara was spectacular. It is the third time we chose him to spend a few quiet days in Zahara de los Atunes. The design of the hotel is very welcoming, small and quiet, with amazing views from its wonderful Balinese beds and infinity pools. In addition, its first class services, make the stay there always a truly relaxing and pleasant experience. The staff is very professional and friendly,
concerned to meet our needs so that we can fully enjoy our stay. With its location in beautiful surroundings and excellent service, it will certainly remain our choice of accommodation whenever we travel to the area.

It had a junior suite with a living room and four-seater sofa bed. Even so, it cost me almost 600 euros more for my daughter to be able to sleep in the hotel for two nights because there was no way they would allow her to sleep in my room. I am a regular customer of the hotel. I go every year with my two children for between 3 and 5 days, but this year my son is studying abroad and although I requested it several times in writing, there was no way for us to share a room. Money aside, it is easy to understand that the experience is not the same and that I would have loved for her not to sleep alone. I will keep that in mind if I want to have a family experience in the future.

Very attentive and professional staff, the facilities are good. It is on a hill and there is a 7-8 minute walk to the beach, on the way back it is difficult as it is uphill. There are several swimming pools and sun loungers and Balinese beds. The Standard rooms have horrible views. The snack bar and restaurant are good but the prices of some drinks are exorbitant (with profits of over 300%)

It is a wonderful hotel that offers an exquisite experience. Everything is great: from the decor, the atmosphere and of course the rooms and staff.
It's a big hotel but you don't get the feeling of being in a crowded resort. There are many spaces to rest, the pools are a pass and allows you to rest after visiting the wonders of the area
