Sabah Tea Gardens have great accommodation. You can either stay in the chalets or in the traditional longhouse. We stayed in a chalet and it was very clean and well equipped and set in stunning location with beautiful views of the mountains. The tea factory tour was very informative and the factory smelt amazing! You get to see the sorting,... More

I stayed here for one night during a trip to the area. I was very surprised when we arrived as I had not expected to have a cottage each. The rooms are spacious with a small living area but you will not spend much time here as the surrounding is beautiful. We managed to arrive in time for sunset over... More

We were in Sabah as tourists, and relied heavily on the brochure avalaible at Malaysian Tourism Board. In Ranau, the Sabah Tea Garden was highly recommended. For us, it was worth checking out. Weather - Warmer than Cameron Highlands tea gardens. Facilities - More basic Tea - Great choices - Large portions! Lunch menu - nasi goreng, kuew tiau goreng... More

My family of 4 reached this tea garden in the afternoon only to discover that the guided tour to the plantation and factory is only available in the morning. Hence we spent 2 hours visiting the long house and explored the plantation ourselves. The weather is hot even though it was December. The weather is not what we expected from... More

I was for Ranauthlon 2015. It's located inside the tea plantation surround by beautiful view of Mount Kinabalu. There are longhouse and cottage to choose. Since we came in group we decided to stay at longhouse and it was awesome. The sharing bathroom was clean and the longhouse was made from bamboo and tree bark with very basic room. I'm... More

I stayed here during the Ranauthlon 2015 trail run. The trail run was going to be at the Tea Garden. I booked one of the cottage for a one night stay for two person. We were surprised upon arrival to see that the cottage is quite spacious. There were 1 Queen sized bed and single bed in the cottage's bedroom.... More

We enjoyed our visit to the Sabah Tea Garden. We travelled as part of an Intrepid tour and stayed in the longhouse. The longhouse is constructed of bamboo and all the rooms are located off the huge longhouse covered walk way. The rooms are quite basic, but clean and unique. There are shared toilet and showers. There are separate cottages... More

We were booked in here as part of our private tour as a stop over to cut the long drive to KK. We arrived and were just stunned by the scenery, we could see Mt Kinablau and all the surrounding rainforest. The cottages were cute, and even had a seperate lounge and most imporantly some AC. There is not a... More

A great location, and rooms were surprising good. We stayed in the bungalows but there is also a longhouse available as well. We had a lot of rain so the sunrise walk was a little washed out but a tour of the factory was interesting, and tea-tasting was good. Breakfast was pretty poor with just a plate of noodles for...
