From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we were home. Dianne and Steve run an excellent home away from home. We were spoilt and our room was so spacious we could have gotten lost! Clean with a great shower too. The breakfast is excellent and the black pudding is the best I've eaten. Try it, even if... More

This was the last stop on a Speyside walking tour, and it couldn't have been better! Absolutely lovely and wonderfully caring hosts, nice rooms, excellent breakfast and all in all super service and great lodging!

Thank you for a nice stay for six days for four hunters fra Denmark. As a stating point for stag hunting the Argyle Guest House was the right place. Good rooms, heat and beds. Super breakfast and lunch packs provided. We will return.

Very nice rooms, delicious breakfast with home-made bread (still warm from the oven) and superb service from hotel management. We would love to come back anytime for our next whiskey-trail trip. Toumintoul also has very nice pubs and delicious Scottish food and ales!

The rooms may be a bit dated, but are really clean, and the breakfast and hosts are the best in the highlands. Make sure to drive to Tomintoul, since some booking sites list it elsewhere by mistake. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in this guesthouse recently as it was a practical place to spend the night after the Lonach gathering. The hostess was really nice and welcoming but the rooms are not of this era any longer. Very dated and a lot of noice from other rooms/bathrooms. Room could definitely have been cleaner. The bathroom facilities are adequate but have... More

Quaint and comfortable, Argyle house, became the cherry on the top to a magnificent Horseback riding experience around Tomintoul. Dianne and Steven, the B&B owners, are exceptional people, who go out of their way to accommodate their guests and their every need.

Lovely place to stay, beds comfortable, food great, friendly people. Its in the centre of town, so close to pubs & whisky tasting! We arrived late but that was no problem to the owners. The town is in a good location to visit attractions such as the steam railway, and distilleries in the area.

We stayed there for one night, as we were on a roadtrip through the northern part of Scotland. The room was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and the bathrom was good (incl. shower+bathtub). A bit far from the main roads and closest town of Aviemore, but absolutely a great choice of B&B. We arrived almost at night, and even... More

I stayed just one night in the B&B, but it was very cosy. Perhaps a little too cosy - the room I was in didn't have much light, and the one window looked out onto a service area rather than to the cairmgorns, and did not have an en suite, which was disappointing. However, the breakfast was lovely, the hot... More
