Excellent hotel with excellent location located in front of the beautiful beach, clean & comfortable hotel. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. I have to thank Ms. Sharon Moore for making reservations . Also very simple good breakfast. Very humble staff all over the hotel. There is no water bottle inside the room fridge or in the room. Downstairs front desk you can filled up your water, but after 10:00 PM they runout. Till next day morning.NO safe box inside the room ❓Please install new safe. Definitely We will come back. Thank you.

Hotel is clean, staff are nice, the location of the hotel is very good right facing Rocky Beach. rooms really dated need a refresh, no lifts of the elderly, make sure you bring the right Money as they really have any cash to exchange behind the front desk there always out of money, in the morning hot water is normally cold, if you have a late departure there is nowhere to shower and change other than the pool shower outdoors, and you get changed in the public toilets, as i said the staff are Loverly but really think it time for a refurb when you come to Barbados, you to expect better accommodation

The hotel is situated two minutes walk to the beach opposite. It is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. We requested quiet rooms and we were glad that we did as the road can be noisy. The average size rooms all have balconies and very comfortable beds with great blackout blinds. The website states tea and coffee facilities in each room. There is a kettle and crockery but no tea or coffee sachets are provided. We ate the complimentary continental breakfast each morning. This was variable and disappointing. The staff didn't seem to notice when supplies needed replenishing. I have never seen fruit sliced so thinly. The coffee was ok in the first week but went seriously downhill thereafter. It was very weak, often cold and undrinkable even though this was mentioned to staff. When ordering from the breakfast menu, food was very slow to arrive and portions were small. This is unacceptable as we were paying for these items. We ate dinner at the hotel several times and were pleasantly surprised, however there were often items unavailable from the fairly limited choices on the menu. The meals we had were served in an acceptable timescale, were hot and very tasty. …

We stayed here as it was the only hotel in the region with a room, following our flight being cancelled. It was clean and comfortable and offered a lovely breakfast. There was no hot water when we showered at 11am, maybe it was all used up and it was noisy but we carry ear plugs luckily. Overall, a great spot for a short stay. Lovely friendly staff at breakfast too, a very cheerful young lady whos name I didn't see.

The hotel is cute and clean. The staff is friendly. It's right across the street from the beach so it can be noisy. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned so it's the only room we could use. The living area was unbearable. The jalocy windows in the bathroom don't close all of the way so again, noise and bugs. The restaurant is quite small but the food is good.

I see this hotel getting bad reviews and I don't know why. Location was excellent, fantastic beach across the street, walking distance to tons of bars and restaurants. Our room was clean and modern with a huge walk-in shower. The staff were all fantastic. We felt secure and enjoyed the pool that no one was ever in. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan on returning. The only downside was our room was out front right on the street so we needed ear plugs at night but that's not the hotels fault. It was worth having 2 balconies with water views in exchange for a little noise. We loved it!

The only good thing we can say is our room was very clean! Unfortunately the staff are clearly not committed to customer satisfaction. We booked suite that was supposed to include continental breakfast (handy for the kids) the on-site restaurant was a HUGE disappointment, run by one disgruntled employee who would obviously rather be somewhere else. Table set for 2, we were family of four. After 20 minutes we were approached to order….(only one other table, not busy) long story short, slow slow slow and not organized, hair on one of the plates and after asking twice for napkins, cutlery, coffee cup etc. (none on table) we received napkins at the end of our meal. Breakfast should not take 80 minutes! Once we struggled through breakfast we were billed for the continental breakfast which was supposed to be included, double disappointment. We checked with front desk about the misunderstanding, not about money, but principle. Apparently their reservation manager told us breakfast not included, not the case. Oh well, your loss, won’t be back, will not recommend to any of the hundreds of people we know locally or family or friends visiting off island. Too bad, this hotel had potential, but not the staff.…

We had a beach view. Room had been updated. Lovely shower, Glass walk-in with rain forest shower head. Open staircase and staff on arrival helps with bags to 3rd floor. All staff masked even working on the grounds. Lots of staff. Had the pool to ourselves most days. Breakfast was an island style experience. The restaurant surprised us with awesome food for lunch. Ate there 4 times out of a week in the afternoon. I still miss those lovely salads and burgers we had. Delicious. Good chef. Just be patient. We were there to relax and we did. Weather was great.

I stayed at Blue Horizon Hotel in Rockley, Christ Church on the beautiful island of Barbados. I was not pleased at all with my room. It was old. But my mum loved the sea view so we stayed 2 nights for her birthday. She enjoyed it. The building they put us in is the outdated rooms. It really needs work. But the resort is nice and the staff is exceptionally pleasant. Sorry, I wouldn't stay here again.
