Lovely little hotel with a touch of class. Rooms are large and well equipped and the balcony overlooking the deck and ocean is just dreamy. Deck, loungers and pool are smart and instagram worthy. Bar serves up gooood cocktails and there was even a happy hour we stumbled across. Well located for dipping in and out of the local beaches and the bus into town.

I stayed at South Gap the week of July 16, 2022. Check In was smooth, staff was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant, the pool and location was perfect during my visit. The view from the room (well all the rooms) are outstanding. The hotel is clean. The location of the hotel has alot of night action so it can get noisy but you are on vacation so let nothing bother you. Special shout out to Avery!! He was literally every day and night and did every job. Lol!!! He definitely made a positive lasting impression. And I cannot forget Haneith (spelling) who was always helpful and friendly. Thank you to all the staff (especially the bartenders) for making my stay so memorable. I HIGHLY recommend and would definitely stay here again

· Our junior suite fed onto the deck with the pool and overlooking the ocean. It was very convenient to have everything at our doorstep. Although it was fully booked there were always enough sunbeds, chairs, tables, towels etc . It was also very quiet and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was decent and reasonably priced. Perfect location and lots of restaurants nearby. Beach with facilities is a 10 min walk. There is a beach 2 mins walk from the hotel but it is small and there are no facilities there. It is good for a quick dip. The hotel was as advertised Disliked · The restaurant had no ambiance. The couch in the room is a fold out bed and very uncomfortable ( as a couch). You have to pay a "deposit" for pool towels ( $35 BDS each). On checking out we were told that the money would be returned to our credit card 7 days after check out. This is ridiculous. I returned the towels on check out so why can't I get my money back then? Since lockdown I have noticed a trend with hotels - deposits for different things and the money is not returned to your credit card until days/ weeks after you check out. Why? It means that when you return from vacation you have to be vigilant and check to make sure that the money is returned to your credit card.…

We apologize for the dissatisfaction with the sofa bed, we will be sure to take your feedback into consideration. In relation to the deposit, I can confirm it is company policy to take a cash deposit or a credit card authorization for beach/pool towels. Once the towels are returned, this deposit is refunded at the time of departure if paid by cash or released from holding on your card. We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication. However, we do advise if funds are still pending on your account after your departure that you inform us at your earliest convenience so that we can address this with our bank immediately. Very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Stunning ocean view from balcony. Lovely modern clean room with plenty of hot water, wi fi, kitchenette, fridge freezer, hairdryer, aircon and ceiling fan. Staff very friendly and polite. Pool and deck area very nice and Stunning when lit up at night. Sunbeds bit hard to get as guests get up at crack of dawn to put their towels down but this is not the hotels fault. There are plenty of Stunning beaches nearby so didn't bother us too much. The sand and sea is amazing. Plenty of buses to get around although some zr buses are a bit hairy! Just to note that if you are over 65 and want to hire a car you have to have a fit to drive medical certificate. We didnot know this. All in all a brilliant holiday.

Stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. Great location, nice staff, modern, spacious room. Kitchen has everything you need (besides paper towels) owners are super sweet. On the gap so its super loud at night. Even with all doors and windows closed i could sing along to the music (room 221). Dover beach is only a 4 min walk down the block. Hotel restaurant had really good food and drinks. Should out to the restaurant staff; Alisha, Stephan and Shaq!

We stayed at the South Gap in St. Lawrence Gap. Very comfortable and quiet. Right on the ocean but no beach - had to walk about 10 minutes to get to a lovely beach nearby. Lots f restaurants and nightlife within close walking distance. Pool was very nice.

What can we say....a truly fabulous, beautiful and vibrant hotel!! :) From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we were blown away by the hotels facilities. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and has everything you could possibly want and need for a relaxing holiday. We would go as far as to say one of the best hotels we have stayed in!! BUT...the true beauty and gem of this hotel are the amazing, friendly and accommodating staff. As a team, each member made our stay extra special by being so personable and friendly. Their aura and energy made us enjoy absolutely every minute of our stay. We would like to say a big shout out to ALL the staff we came in contact with...Cody and Jon at reception, always so keen to help, they gave us some of the best advice and really helped us with making the most out of our holiday...Camisha, Amaul, Nicholas, Terry, Alisha, Stefan and Shaq in the bar/restuarant...they were all fantastic in every way delivering only the highest customer service. They made the atmosphere in the bar happy and vibrant, and the music was always amazing. Roland in security, he was always very helpful and very friendly.
