Quite impressive colonial home, very clean and well looked after, there is a terrace in the small garden at the back of the house full of plants with a huge mango tree and a locked parking place under a shed next to the house. It's only a couple of minutes walk to the main street of Moron, it's also very... More

A lovely clean casa in Moron an hours drive from Jardines del Rey / Cayo Coco run by a very kind couple, Alfonso and Magaly. They were very attentive to my tear away 2 year old and made the start and end of our 3 weeks in Cuba very calm and cake filled! Magaly makes delicious fish and rice dinners,... More

This is our 4th stay at Casa Carmen with our 6 year old twin girls. Alfonso and Magaly have always been very accommodating with our needs - 2 cribs the first 2 years and 2 single beds the last 2 years along with our double. The larger of the 2 rooms is just the right size for the 4 of... More

I recently stayed at this location as I was diving in Caya Coco and needed somewhere to stay close. Moron is a nice place to see the Cuban people living the way they have for years. The house is large and the room was huge with lots of art work and the air conditioning worked well. It has its own... More

We stayed in this casa particular for one night after arriving in Cuba at Cayo Coco airport and also for two nights after our travels in Cuba. We chose Casa Carmen because we wanted to stay in something more authentic than is available nearer the airport. It was a good decision: Alfonso and Magaly worked hard to make us welcome... More

Amazing casa in the center of the town, very calm and quiet, rooms and bathrooms very clean and well kept, breakfasts and dinners so delicious, everyday you can try something new, typical for Cuba, everything made of fresh products, the owners treat you as a memeber of the family, always ready to help, advise, answer all your questions, they helped... I cannot write too highly of my experience of staying at the Casa Carmen for two nights in January 2016. Alfonso and his wife, Magaly, are the most charming and attentive of hosts and I was made to feel a welcome and valued guest at all times. She is also an excellent cook. The breakfasts I had there were substantial... More

My husband and I brought our two daughters to stay here during our recent trip to Cuba. We wanted to spend some time "off the resort" to show our girls a more realistic view of Cuba. We had a lovely stay at Casa Carmen. Our hosts were very welcoming, the house is absolutely beautiful, and the home cooked meals were... More

We stayed here in May 2015 an amazing colonial house with beautiful ensuite rooms. Our hosts were very lovely people, so warm and caring it felt like I was staying with my Cuban mum and dad (or grandparents for those younger travellers). They helped us organise taxis to Cayo Coco (return taxis were very reasonable). The food was brilliant and... More

We were delighted to stay at Casa Carmen while on our way from Playa Pilar. The place is beautiful with tasteful decorations and lovely hosts. The breakfast was organic and tasty, with fruits from the garden where we had it. Would recommend to anyone!
