Unfortunately our holiday was cut short due to the Corona 19 virus so the information is really only based on our arrival at the hotel Friday 13th March we should have been staying for two weeks but had to leave on the following Monday 23rd .Good area to be based at for either walking or buses into Bridgetown or St Lawrence's Gap. The beach at the hotel was as people have already said rocky with a large amount of seaweed which the hotel staff did clear as much as possible.Unfortunately a number of the things we had wonted to see didn't happen due to the virus .We had a large bedroom with a balcony which over looked the lazy river. Everywhere was very clean .Bathroom could have done with updating shower mainly. Clean towels both bath & beach changed regularly Re the staff I would say a number went out of their way to help and be-friendly some wouldn't even look at you or speak to you even when you said hello etc.Never experienced this in the couple of times we have been to Barbados before . Not sure if some of the problems due to the fact that the hotel was up for sale or because of the virus at that stage it was hard to tell .Some of the restaurant where not always available as they had closed them due to moving people home. The following day no beach beds where put out more shut downs. So very difficult to give a full review as we may have not see the hotel and staff at their best.Need to give a shout out to Danielle on reception who was very helpful on our last day .

Dear Gamckean, Thank you for sharing your review with us! We trust that you and your family are staying safe during this time. It is with regret your holiday was cut short resulting in you being unable to have a memorable two week holiday experience with us. The onset of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic brought about many global changes. In short course, several adjustments had to be made, all in an attempt to ensure the health and safety of all individuals. We are delighted to know that during your time with us, you were satisfied with the size of your room, the cleanliness of our property and our ideal location. We sincerely hope that we will have another opportunity to host a full holiday for you under some level of normalcy in the not too distant future. We sincerely hope that you and your family continue to stay safe until we can meet again!

Just back from a week before the jets stopped flying. Sadly our week marred by discussions about what was going on at home. That said, we could not fault the hotel in terms of location, staff, cleanliness and of course the weather (the staff supplied that too?). Cat - cooks am amazing omelette and was always smiling or laughing. Great to chat with you Cat. Richard at Drifters bar high on life. Infectious attitude. He's been in the hospitality industry for thirty years from Torquay to Barbados and it shows. Jackie at Drifters. Nothing too much trouble. All of the staff without exception seemed to have one aim and that was to make gusts stay as good as they could. Plenty of choice on the menus at three eating places. Well kept grounds with accomodation surrounding a lovely pool and gardens. It youncould award five stars for staff attitude this place would get them hands down.

A lovely hotel with excellent caring staff, however, it’s badly let down by the poor beach and lack of smooth sea space. The coral takes 90% of beach space leaving a small piece where you can walk. Swimming is not possible, you have to walk to adjacent beaches to paddle or swim. If you have difficulty with steps this hotel will not be for you. Food and drinks are of a good quality very well served by lovely friendly staff.

Dear Peter M, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate you highlighting your satisfaction with our friendly staff and food and beverage options. One of the unique advantages of our hotel is its coral beach which serves as home to several species of marine life. It is also a safe haven and nesting ground for the hawksbill turtle. If you are staying with us during turtle hatching season you can experience the hatching of thousands of beautiful baby turtles and watch as they scurry into the ocean for the first time. We definitely look forward to seeing you back with us for yet another enjoyable holiday with us.

The hotel is a gem. The staff really make this place so lovely. Especially Jackie & Kimesha. Cindy on reception was a star helping me change room. The rooms are comfortable and clean with spacious balconies. We had a 1st floor pool access perfect for popping for a quick dip, and the food is yummy.Hotel in great location for exploring the island. Hope the place doesn't change. It is perfect the way it is. We miss the place dearly and hope all the staff are well.

Having read quite a few reviews, we were a little apprehensive. You must never read the reviews! It was great! The room was spacious and incredibly clean, as was the whole resort. The staff were fantastic and very friendly.. big shout out to Jackie and Tyrone, always smiling and friendly. We even had beach service which was a real treat. Thank you selwyn. The food was good, and fresh, we aren’t talking ‘haute cuisine’, but every night there was something on offer that was tasty. The Boardwalk, away from hotel, was a great way to ‘do some steps’ with some lovely restaurants and coffee shops along the way. Thank you Savannah Hotel for a great holiday.
