During all stay there was no one day when it was possible to have a good sleep. Since 9am the noise from room service, guests etc, and the doors are so thin so you will hear every sound outside. It is very overpriced for current old design and having no basic facilities like refrigerator and drier. Food is quite simple... More

Very basic and old hotel which I already knew when we booked. However I was concerned about the lack of provision of sun umbrellas, sunbeds, chairs etc. If you wanted to carry an old fashioned wooden chair on to the beach from a store room in the basement of the hotel that was fine - nobody seemed to be in... This hotel is well situated close to the sea, and has a private beach. We had a room with a balcony and superb views of Cullera bay. The furniture in the room was traditional Spanish, and there was plenty of free parking, plus a swimming pool. From the moment you arrive in reception you get the feeling of a bright,... More

This Hotel needs a complete refurb. The rooms are exceptionally tired with bathroom mirrors needing replacement, amongst other things. The locality of the hotel is stunning! The reception staff are lovely but the bar staff could do with a little help on how to handle their job. Cullera is a great spot to chill out and if you visit you... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night and had a blast ! The decoration is so completely outdated it becomes vintage. What makes it worth the while is the location right on the beach for a very reasonable price. Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. The rooms are very clean and the ones facing the sea have a balcony... More

The Hotel Sicania recieves high marks following our stay there in Cullera. While it is not a high-end nor high-priced state-of-the-art hotel, the excellent staff and comfortable ambiance substitute well for the lack of amenities and sophistication. As one of the first hotels bulit on the beach in Cullera, once upon a time it was surrounded by fruit trees. Now... More

We stayed at this hotel in November for the MotoGP in Valencia. Well worth staying further away from Valencia ( hotels too expensive there) as it is a lovely hotel situated right on the beach. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel for the same reason. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but well worth paying a... More

We were visiting Valencia but could not get a room during the Grand Prix weekend. I found this hotel about 30 km south of Valencia that boasts an ocean view room at half the price of Valencia. The room has been updated since it was built in the 1960's but sparsely decorated. What this hotel offers is a hotel right... More

Picked this hotel for a 3 day break on the beach in the middle of a motorcycle tour of Spain, mainly based on Tripadvisor reviews. Hotel Sicania is located on the beach, and although originally built on its own amongst olive groves it is now dwarfed by apartment blocks (mostly empty when we visited in June). From the moment we... More
