I guess these older hotels in Scotland don't come with elevators. So be forewarned when trying to lug all your luggage up the stairs. Room is cute but bathroom had an electric shower which was very hard to regulate - water was either ice cold or scalding. Food was the best part of this hotel - the breakfast was standard...

I treated my parents and in laws to Sunday Dinner. I must say it was absolutely spot on. The food was very well presented and cooked to perfection. There were 8 of us in total and we had many different dishes from the menu. Everything was great, from starters right through to sweets. The service was really friendly and the...

Basic but clean room. Very functional and all that's needed for a one night stay, although beds need upgraded as very soft mattresses in my opinion. The food was out of this world and all home made ☺️ A lovely glass of Merlot accompanied my meal too. Excellent value for money 👍🏼

From minute I walked in door till I left , staff and management could not be more helpful. Food was really good quality with huge portions and menu was most varied. Waiting staff were in attendance and most attentive! Looking forward to be back there again next week

Good location, everything is within walking distance. It is an old building so don't expect a new-construction-chain-place. It's clean, breakfast excellent. There is a bar on the property and a second bar/lounge as well. Staff multi-tasks but eventually you get what you asked for - and with a smile!
