The resort, in the middle of the Zafferano mountains nestled among the beauties of Etna. Fresh structure and excellently kept in order. The spa is clean and complete with everything you need for relaxation. The food, if you decide to stop, is something incredible, chef Sorbello is the guarantee of this. An experience to be repeated for sure. Ps. The friendliness of the staff is out of the ordinary, the property is present and very operational. We were welcomed by the owner who was always ready to satisfy our every request, a very kind and polite lady, easy-going despite her very important role in the structure. Chef Sorbello (the owner's son) literally made us dream. Very low prices if we consider that we are talking about a 5 star rating (all deserved). We will be back 🫶

They gave us a disabled room, motivation "they were fully booked" but we had booked a month before and still on the site the same day of arrival there were rooms available. In the bathroom there were no bathrobes and we were told that they did not have any, towels 1 each and without linen change or afternoon room rack (provided by the 5 stars). Magnifying mirror: there was only the base, probably detached previously and never put back. Dirty coat hangers, plastic and one different from the other and not even a bag for dirty laundry. Holes in the curtains, sockets detached from the wall. Dust everywhere. Dirty and crowded spa with malfunctioning showers and creepy breakfast! Plastic cups, paper towels, industrial cookies put in jars to pass them off as artisanal, by 8.30am almost everything was already finished. Nonexistent service, not even the suitcases brought us. I stayed in the Suite with sea view and was able to enjoy the Spa program and breakfast.

Stunning rooms, new and modern. The corridors and the spa, especially the changing rooms, are not very clean. Breakfast a little sparse for a 5 star hotel to be revisited perhaps with some traditional Sicilian desserts to make it different from the usual breakfasts with croissants. Very kind staff.

I would start by removing at least 2 of the 5 elusive stars. The rooms are sufficiently clean, but the corridors and spa are not as clean. With dirty doors and openings. Very kind and friendly staff.
