Stayed here again, as part of the Le Calabash cooking class package. Laurence and her husband Noel are incredibly caring and make sure that your stay is perfect. YOu feel right at home. The chateau is absolutely lovely and comfortable, the rooms airy, light and tastefully decorated. It is only minutes walking from the village. Can't wait to return here...

I stayed here while doing a weeklong cookery course at Le Calabash... I had seen pictures but it didn't become real until we pulled into the gate and I laid eyes ona beautiful château.... It is as beautiful inside as it is outside... My bedroom was nice and cozy, the bathroom very modern and the view was great... Each night...

Just spent 3 nights at Chateau Valcreuse and it was a truly lovely experience. Alexender and Caroline are the most wonderful hosts and as soon as we entered the chateau they made us feel very welcome and at home. The chateau is an absolutely beautiful building with fabulously tasteful furnishings and fittings - stylist but extremely comfortable and has such...

We were not to know that our hearts were about to be lost to Caroline, Alexander, Florence and Arnaud and their magnificent home Chateau Valcreuse when we booked our April culinary adventure at Le Calabash through The International Kitchen. Our research to find an excellent cooking program gave a brief description of the accommodations - such an understatement! From our...

I usually do not expected that in a B&B, but this little paradise appears to have a staff with a professional hospitality and restaurant background. The food, service and decor exceeded all expectations. Due to the local topography, the area has a micro-climate which is sunnier than the broader region, which worked out great for playing some golf on one...

A visit to Alexander's and Caroline's Chateau Valcreuse will change your life. It is as simple as that. Typically, we are not given to making sweeping statements such as this for fear that other readers will interpret it as hyperbole; however, we write this with all honesty and meaning. Despite being a gorgeous boutique B&B in a superb setting with...

Stayed here as part of the Le Calabash cooking school trip, and I can't say enough nice things about it. Beautiful place with elegant and very comfortable rooms. Laurence and Noel, the caretakers of the place, are so very friendly and made me feel very welcome and safe (I was the only guest, as it was off-season). I can't wait...
