We stayed for one night in a superior room (Gabare) in the Chateau. The room itself was large, airy, bright and very comfortable with an enormous bed. A large seating area with sofa, two chairs and coffee table made the stay much more comfortable. I concur with other reviews that the bathrooms are in need of an update to bring...

Had high hopes for this 3 night break, when we booked in we were given only basic info and pointed in the direction of an annex where our rooms were, to find it was a inter hotel chain attached to the chateau, no complimentary water and basket as described on hotel web or shown in pictures, hotel was extremely noisy,...

Weren't sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised by the enormous well-furnished room with three exposures. Expansive grounds, park-like setting, accommodating staff, immaculately clean (management might consider regrouting the bathroom floor). Extensive breakfast buffet, very reliable WiFi.

We spent two nights at this lovely hotel, for my husbands birthday. On arrival, the reception was welcome and friendly, she spoke excellent English and was happy to listen to us fumble around our French. We stayed in the Orangery, which had a lift to the upper floors. The room was plenty big enough, though rather warm, I can see...

Room (in the castle Classic) / clean, big enough with a huge bathroom. Swimmingpool : big enoug but freezing. Good WIFI reception Summary : nice stay...

We had originally booked a night in a very expensive and well regarded hotel in Brantome, but on checking our booking, I noticed that our room was going to be in an annexe about 300 metres from the main hotel. found Chateau des Reynats and transferred our booking to a deluxe room in the main chateau building for about half...

We spent 2 nights in this great residence and we loved it : very well positioned (5 minutes to Périgueux), very typical inside and...with a fantastic restaurant 1 star Michelin, "L'Oison", where we had dinner twice, with full satisfaction. The room is well decorated in a mix between the "fairy tale" and modern colors, the bathroom is big and traditional,...

I stayed at this hotel for more than 3 weeks for business and my only complaint was the noise. We didn't stay in the main "castle" but rather the 3 story building on site. The walls were paper thin - I could hear everyone next to me and even those across the hall. Since we were traveling in a large...

The food was so good, great value and the service impeccable. It is a lovely and relaxed atmosphere, we pretty much tried everything on the menu, the owners obviously value their customers and want them to come back, I highly recommend a visit.

My husband and I booked a 3 night stay for a romantic weekend. The website is really attractive with beatutiful pictures and there was a good deal on offer too. Be warned, it is completely misleading !! The "castle" is situated in the suburb of Perigueux, next to a commercial zone. It has no garden anymore, the park has been...
