Good for a stop-over, close to the Chanel crossings. Good for access to fuel and provisions at adjacent supermarket. Clean and comfortable, more space and comfort than most budget hotels. Good enough breakfast in the continental style. Poor availability of reception desk. Need a special reservation number for access outside the limited reception hours. Not obvious how to get this.

We were travelling through France for two weeks. Our first night was to stay at Les Iris Hotel, P'tit dej. The room was basic, clean ish and had a good hot shower.and break fast was really nice. The receptionist spoke a little English and was very pleasant . This is a budget very basic hotel and you get what you...

This is an awful hotel, and we didn't even get as far as seeing the rooms! We booked for 1 night on Booking.com, requesting a ground floor room and got a confirmation email and booking reference number. When we came to book in (on our 2nd to last night of a long holiday around France), the desk was closed and...

Arrived after a long drive. Checked into a room which only can be described as a hovel. The room absolutely stunk! The bunk beds were broken and dangerous and the furniture was all broken. Went down to reception to demand refund, lady who claimed not to speak any English refused to refund so we had to get booking.com involved. Disgusting...

We booked to stay in this hotel for one night on our drive to Spain and thought it would be a ideal location. On arrival at checkin we encountered a problem with the receptionist not speaking any English and with my French being poor but we finally got there. Our room was only on the first floor at the end...

Cheap budget hotel, room reasonably clean but cigarette smoke smell nauseous despite it being non smoking throughout, find this common in French hotels and take a spray in case!. Very clean shower room, wifi supplied but slow and unable to get emails (not just me, others complaining at reception about this service). No BBC or CNN news, usually available in...

A cheap hotel that provided good value for money. The supermarket and petrol station do not intrude and our room was small but quiet, clean and comfortable. Not somewhere for a holiday but a good stopover if you arrive at Calais or Boulogne and want to travel south. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was 6.50 euros and was quite...

Advertised as "set in quiet residential area" actually in a hypermarket car park opposite 24hr petrol station! Paid over the odds (cheaper direct!) for a cramped room for 3 (bunk over double) poor decoration & facilities, needs a desperate overhall, secure parking & handy for Carrefour & McDonalds otherwise don't bother!

We stayed in a family room for one night after a long trip from the south of France. This is no means a luxury hotel but it is very reasonably priced, was clean and our family room had a double bed and bunks for our two children. The bathroom was adequate but was definitely in need of a refurb! The...

“Our room was on the second floor at the front, it was interesting in the morning to watch all the traffic and to and froing of the locals. Parking is probably safest at the rear of the hotel as other rooms look over it as does the breakfast room. You must get a free wifi code from the staff when arriving, we were late and had to do without”
