Amazing place, great staff. Everything for a perfect holiday. Ali, the manager was really helpful. The animators, Rodger and Oman are awsome. The cooks made the perfect foods! The waiters, and waitresses are kind, and heplful. We spoke a lot of with them. There was a guy, Shaban. He wait for us on every meal. He makes our stay very comfortable, and lovable. The maasai guards are also wery kind! Everyone is kind. Always smiling, and say some nice words. I think THIS IS THE HOLIDAY! Best of my life.

It is a priceless experience. Located in the east coast of Zanzibar, Palumbo Resort is the perfect spot to enjoy the tides and for visiting the island. Indeed it takes one hour to do all the excursions such as Prison Island, Nakupenda, Monkey Forest, Safari Blu, swimming with the dolphins, The Rock and so on... We recommend to book the excursions directly in the resort: they are really well organized by the local staff (that is a plus) in every detail, and because of the cost, much cheaper compared to online websites. Apart from that, This resort is one of its own. You really feel being in Africa (not in a touristic place) but still in a resort with all the comforts. the stuff is African, always polite and smiling but not intrusive.. You even have Masai (African Tribe) hired by the resort to secure the place 24 hours. You fell safe all the time. Indeed you could leave everything anywhere because nobody would have touched it. As Italians, we need to say that the food was extraordinary from the breakfast to the dinner. Big congrats to the team and the Chef who we had the pleasure to meet. He is an international chef overlooking the menu of the other Palumbo Resort in Zanzibar. located in the north coast, as well. You always have different dishes and local food such as fruits, tuna, octupus and so on. and all Ingredients are really fresh. In a nutshell, we highly recommend this place or the Palumbo being in the north coast. We would like to thank the owners Carolina, Pablo and Vladik once more for creating this little paradise. Great hotel, lovely staff, delicious food, did enjoy our stay in the hotel, but €100 excursion trip was very unprofessionally handled by hotel guides, felt like the english and international guests get prioritized second after the Italian guests.

Colors, smiles, the spirit of Zanzibar, the big hearts of Africa, friends and memories for a lifetime - this is what Palumbo and Samaki will give you and you will want to return there again and again, you will want to share this place with your most loved people. What makes this place so special? Since I travel a lot as a group leader, I have seen many expensively made hotels that have been ruined by bad management. In this combined complex of Samaki and Palumboreef, there is a spirit of partnership and mutual respect between the people of the whole team who manage the hotels and the people of the staff. The first thing that will strike you is the artistic style of the hotel, the open spaces and the amazing gardens. Everything is clean and everything has the spirit of Africa. The staff is prepared to welcome you and awaits you, simplifying your check-in procedure as much as possible. You receive a refreshing welcome drink and a short briefing to help you make the best choice for your stay. What will surely win your hearts is the feeling of personal attention and care not only upon your arrival but also throughout your stay. Every request or comment we had was met with attention and people immediately went out of their way to fix the problem. One of the ladies in our group forgot her expensive sunglasses in a van we were traveling in on our day trip. Thanks to the quick response of front office manager Muhammad Ali, after only 20 minutes the glasses were not only found, but a member of staff personally took them to the lady's room. She said "I'm delighted!" My recommendation to hotel guests is if they want to explore Zanzibar and experience unforgettable adventures on the island, trust the hotel entertainer Roger and Samaki manager Ali Mohammed. I assure you that they will not only give you the best advice on how to combine your excursions, but the price you will get will be very good. I had the opportunity to compare the prices with those offered by other hotels, so me and the people in my group made sure not only of the good price, but also of the high quality of tourist services in Palumbo and Samaki. I advise you - do not fall for the "tempting offers" that the players on the shore will offer you. This can cost you a lot more! Special thanks to Ali for his caring attitude towards our group. Every evening he came to our table to listen to people's impressions of the previous day, to hear their recommendations and questions, to help us organize our adventures for the next day in the best possible way. What's more - with his help, the kitchen team organized a special surprise for our last evening - a cake with an inscription in Bulgarian, served in their hearty and attractive way with song and dance. We will never forget this place and for sure I would go back there with many new friends. I highly recommend that you don't miss out on enjoying the talent of the team of professional massage therapists at Samaki Spa. These people do wonders with their hands. We spent a fantastic time in Palumbo Samaki. The soul of this resort is definitely the management team and all the staff They were so kind with us, taking care of any details and make us feel like home. This hotel is very nice, almost empty (January 2022 - 30%) no russian people, no children 3 swimmingpools we were there alone, maybe 2-3 people. Food was very nice, personal as well. Management can play voleybal!!! :) Not our last visit, thank you!!!

What an awesome place!! Me and my wife we’ve spent 2 nights there, and everything was perfect!! They toke care about all the details, the food was very good and they have an amazing selection of cocktails!! All the staff was very friendly!! We highly recommend! I spent a week in he Resort and I must say - it was the perfect time! The pictures of the resort don't reflect those amazing views, wonderful surroundings, the whole hotel infrastructure. The food was delicious, served in a very elegant way. The staff always ready to help, always smiling and very kind. The rooms were cleaned every day and it was really clean. I highly recommend Palumboreef Reef Beach Resort as a perfect hotel to stay.
