I spent a week in he Resort and I must say - it was the perfect time! The pictures of the resort don't reflect those amazing views, wonderful surroundings, the whole hotel infrastructure. The food was delicious, served in a very elegant way. The staff always ready to help, always smiling and very kind. The rooms were cleaned every day and it was really clean. I highly recommend Palumboreef Reef Beach Resort as a perfect hotel to stay.

Me and my family spent half of our vacation in Zanzibar at Palumboreef. We had a wonderful stay, amazing variety of food and the staff was always very helpful and friendly. They organized a tour for us and we were very satisfied ! Great entertainment during the day at the pool for adults and kids and great shows at night ! The beach is very quite, you can go for long walks there and the water was absolutely perfect! We will definitely go back !

We were at the Palumboreef beach resort for 10 nights. We took an official taxi from the airport (45€ for 1 hour drive) The resort is really beautiful, you can find many tourist videos on YouTube. We had a clean room with aircondition and a big bed with mosquito net (to our surprise there was not a single mosquito in this area). The room had a balcony with a beautiful view on the jungle/garden area. WiFi is only in the lobby but sometimes you get a little signal in the room. But the internet is not the fastest. The whole staff in the resort was nice and helpful all the time. The food was good and the drinks were good and cheap :) There are two pools, one is quiet and a little hidden, the other big one is at the bar with music and animation. You can play darts, table soccer, beach volleyball, beach soccer and Boccia if you get bored. The best part of the resort was the beach! The resort beach area is separated from the beach by a small stone wall because of the tide. This was great because there you have a big secure area where you can leave everything and go swimming without worrying about your stuff. We had such a lovely time and we will definitely come back :)

Actually, a good hotel, with the exception of the behavior of some employees of the service. I wanted to order 2 glasses of red wine, but the wine from the open bottle was already weak and tasteless. I asked for a bartender to open a new bottle, but here I intervened by Joy. She stated in gross form that the wine from the new bottle costs 4 €, and not 2 € per glass. She was very rude and unfriendly , as if I was guilty before her. I think she wouldn't contacted to the guests. Otherwise, the hotel is recommended for visiting. It is clean and good VFM.

Sadly this is my worst vacation, staff lack hospitality, racism from the black staff towards blacks(note we were the only blacks in the hotel a group of 28), they were very rude to us but weirdly enough they really treated the other white people well, food was limited to one cultural and sometimes they recycled food from the previous day some of us had food poisoning on day two the experience was just one that I would love to forget despite the money used. The hotel is still undergoing construction, WiFi is a mess. Pull up your game as a hotel and check the few rotten staff in your hotel staff since they are really selling your hotel short

The resort exceded our expectations. The check-in and advice by guest relations was professional, helpful and all round friendly. The room and bathroom was very clean. The bedroom was uncluttered and comfortably furnished. The little washing line on the balcony added comfort to the stay as we could hang our wet costumes up. The restaurant, pool and entertainment area are excellently laid out. As much as this resort is mostly frequented by Italians, it also caters to the South African guest.

You can find that hotel as two star hotel but please believe me that it's much better. Location is fantastic: beautiful garden with lots of flowers, singing birds, and palms on the beach as you can see on the picture enclosed to that hotel. On the beach you find free sunbeds and mattresses. From time to time stuff serve fresh fruits. You will also find a "timetable" of the sea (high tides) so you can plan your bath. ;-) Sometimes you have 500 m wide beach, the other time the sea touches steps of the hotel. If the sea is not enough for you you have a nice swimming pool. Of course you will find showers with fresh water. Near swimming pool there is a bar in which you can order drinks, beer, coffee. Service is very good: helpful, kind and quick. Rooms are large with king size beds and functional bathrooms (shower, basin, WC, bidet). In the room there are cupboards, bedside cabinets and stand for suitcases, large balcony. The rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed every two days. If you leave a small bribe you can find fresh flowers on your bed and in the bathroom. Meals are very tasty and variable. There are always a few dishes (with every day pastas and pizza - italian hotel). You can have tea, coffee, mineral water, fresh fruits, salads and desserts. During dinner local groups play relaxing music and sing. Hotel is guarded by Masays equipped with slings, heavy clubs and machetes. When you walk along the beach you are attacked by shop-keepers trying to sell you anything. ;-) When you are suntanned and your face becomes known to them they stop the proceeding. People at the reception desk are helpful and nice. They can give you also an information about diving centers (there is no one at the hotel).
