Had such a great time paddle rafting the thompson river! My husband and I were first time rafters and very hesitant. The staff and guides at Kumsheen were first class from the very start and made us feel comfortable- and excited. From check in, to the bus ride out, to the raft to dinner was some of the friendliest, efficient and professional service we've received. Our guide, was professional and knowledgeable and ensured our saftey at all times. It allowed us to relax and just let loose and enjoy the rafting. The rapids were exciting and intense! The quieter part of the river was filled with fun stories and tidbits from our experienced guide. We were a group of 4 among 100 highschool students, and they handled the 'private' groups/people really well. You can tell they've done this many times and were well organised. Breakfast, dinner, busses were all separated. We never felt out of place, not "important" or among a million highschool kids. Dinner was great, and the tee pees we stayed in were perfect. It was a stormy, lightening filled evening which made it more exciting. Thanks for the great experience and hospitality Kumsheen!

I’ve been rafting in eastern Washington and in Oregon and this makes those rapids seem like ripples on a pond. This was my 3rd time and I’ve had an excellent guide each time. the buffet lunch has been amazing each time and the rafting equiptment has always been in good condition. And to top off your day they have a hot tub you can relax in after your done!!!

My daughters and I stayed 2 nights in the canvas cabin. It was very comfortable and the washrooms were perfectly clean. The surroundings are beautiful! There are lots of activities and games to keep you occupied. if you're sensitive to noise, there is a highway and 2 railways running past the resort. Not a big deal for us. The full day rafting trip was amazing!!! 18 rapids!! Where else would you get that?? Would do it again in a heartbeat. Dakota, our guide, was an entertaining and competent guy!
