Spent a wonderful nights stay here, just wish we had been staying for longer... Received a very warm welcome from Laurence and Helene, gorgeous room with glorious views of the garden, real bed linen and lovely touches everywhere, breakfast in beautifully decorated dining room with home made jams and selection of fresh bread, croissants etc.... Nothing could have been bettered.... More

We arrived early but were welcomed in by the owners daughter who bought us a tray of tea and biscuits on the lawn. Helene is a wonderful host and truly cares about her guests. She welcomed us back with hugs on our second stay with her. Her home is a huge manor house that is beautifully decorated. Set in beautiful gardens and close to Giverny the Manoir de Notre-Dame made an ideal base to explore the area. The Manoir de Notre Dame de la Mer was a wonderful experience in every respect. It is very conveniently situated for Monet's garden at Giverny, about 10 minutes drive away. The Manoir is absolutely charming, and only exceeded by the reception and hospitality from the Hostess Helene & her family. The location is excellent for visiting Giverny, and Monet's garden. This is the nicest BB we have ever stayed. It is the most beautiful house in a beautiful area of France. Very close to Monets Garden, Rouen etc. The rooms are beautifully clean, decorated in the most beautiful colours in typical french style.
