My husband and I have just returned from a one night stay here. We love the area and trying to find somewhere that we could stay for just one night was proving a tad difficult as most places seem to be a minimum two night stay. Helen and Paul are a lovely couple who run this establishment, which is spotlessly... More

The rooms are all cabins at the back of the main pub building. The rooms themselves are tiny and look lovely - well-decorated in black, white and green. Staying there for longer than five minutes lets you find out the shortcomings; hardly any shelf space and a minuscule rickety cupboard with tiny delicate hangers to put clothes on. We put... More

Fantastic value B&B accommodation. Rooms are lovely, well presented and clean, with en suite shower room. They are set behind the main building with private car parking, I think they are converted hay stores or something like that from when the place was a coaching inn way back when so as a result they're like mini chalets with their own... Accomodation consists of small but clean, well-decorated and comfortable 'motel' style rooms in converted stables at the back of the pub which allows you to come and go as you please. Small but well functioning shower with good water pressure. Our double bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast did not leave us hungry: cereal, toast and full... More

I really want to be fair in my review of this inn, but it's difficult to know just where to begin. I suppose that the main problem is that I don't know what the old stagecoach is trying to be. Is it a hotel? (no, not really) Is it a pub? (no, not really) Then surely it must be a... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in June, using it as a base to explore Dorset and Somerset. Paul and Helen are friendly and run the inn very efficiently. The bar has some good ales and Helen produces some very tasty, reasonably-priced meals from a good menu . The chalet-style rooms are in a peaceful location behind the inn and... More

I stayed here with my partner and my sister and husband, we had two rooms, both very similar, very spacious they both had double beds and a single bed but still lots of room to move around. Ample parking and friendly staff. I did walk down to crewkerne in the morning so yes it is doable. We would stay there... More

I thought this Inn was value for money. This is not a rowdy pub and was peaceful when we stayed there. Our room was comfortable and very clean but lacked a mini fridge and hairdryer. Great parking area. Breakfast was filling and delicious and the management were very friendly and helpful.

I was staying at The Old Stagecoach Inn on business and opted for a room without breakfast at £34 a night. The entire experience was fantastic! Upon arrival I was met by the very friendly owner who was most helpful (he even let me use the wireless internet at no extra charge). Having got my key I was very gratified... More

Echoing previous reviewers, what you take away most from the Old Stagecoach Inn is how friendly the staff are - ever accommodating and great at making you feel welcome. The rooms themselves are clean and well looked after. The pub has a good selection of ales and does an excellent steak and kidney pudding, from a well stocked menu. Breakfast... More
