It's hard to find words to describe such an enchanting place. Annalise and Nino Franco have provided the perfect oasis for a quiet vacation in the beautiful area of Valdobiadene. My friends and I were welcomed with a bottle of chilled Prosecco and fresh fruit to begin our visit here. An elaborate breakfast in the dining room began each day.... More

Villa Barbarina, with its incredible pool, grounds, antique furnishings, chilled prosecco upon arrival, ample breakfasts, and good beds would be a find in and of itself. But the true magic of the place is created by Annalisa Franco and her husband Primo. They are both warm, gracious hosts. It seemed as if nothing was too much to ask of Annalisa.... More

We were welcomed by Annalise (Owner) and Asan (house Manager) who were unbelievably helpful during our stay, making sure that we made the best out of our short time in the Valdobbiadene region and providing a courtesy bottle of Nino Franco on arrival. The Villa here is stunningly beautiful and we had our own suite on the 1st floor, the... More

Our family of three stayed for 2 nights in Villa Barberina. This is our 2nd time visiting the prosecco hills. The previous time we stayed in the Salis room in Agriculturisimo Due Carpini, right in the midst of the vineyard. This time the Salis rooms were sold out, and we got to stay in Villa Barberina, which we are very... More

My friends and I stayed only two nights here with Primo and Annalisa, and wished we had planned for a longer stay. The entire estate is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, and the Francos are more than gracious hosts. They had many suggestions for us, including local tours. The breakfast was wonderful and included figs from the property and homemade jams... More

This is the PERFECT villa in the heart of Italy's Prosecco region! Beautiful historic estate, lovely grounds, stunning views and the very best Prosecco! Hosts Annalisa Franco, husband and staff were gracious hosts and catered to our every need from the moment we arrived with a Nino Franco Spumanti toast until the moment of departure. Villa Barberina is a dream to stay at. It is like living in a museum. Beautiful old villa which has been renovated with great care, wonderful hostess and personell. Not to mention the good prosecco. We really felt like kings here. A very special place!

We spent 3 nights at this little piece of heaven in the Veneto Prosecco region and it was just marvellous. We were treated like VIPs and had heavenly breakfasts, wonderful drives in this beautiful region (you can even get to Venice quite easily by car or train from Castelfranco from here if you really wish). The owners are delightful and... More

The pictures cannot capture the beauty of this beautiful villa. I wishes we had book some more nights here as it is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was immaculate in an old worldly way. No minimalism here, but beautiful artifacts, rugs, furniture and hospitality. We felt like we were... More
