Clean room, nice decor, the room is it too big, but cozy. Very centrally located in Altea, 5 mins walk to the beach and old town. Nice home made bread at breakfast. The restaurent with a Michelin star has extremelly small portions, i went out hungry after lunch and i have ordered a full menu.

My partner and I booked this hotel for two nights and we were not impressed. I was 'greeted'very rudely by an arrogant man and frankly felt as if I was a nuisance, The photographs on the Web site had obviously been airbrushed and the reality of the hotel both inside and out bore no resemblance to these. The bedroom was sparse...

We live locally and chose La Serena to celebrate our anniversary. We opted for the tasting menu for our meal. The food was excellent and the presentation was superb. Every dish was a creation and really played to the senses, a real culinary delight. The menu priced at 50 euro per head was total value for money. Te setting is...

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, I only went a second time as my friends were staying there again. Last year we had dinner there and it took about an hour between courses! If we asked for a drink we were met with a tut and rolling of eyes. There were never many staff around...

Dear guest, We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We are a very familiar and small hotel and yours, it´s the last impression that we want any guest to have. We do NOT have fridge or phones or TVs in the room on purpose, because our philosophy of relax: we want to be as much as we can,...

We ate in the outdoor terrace on Friday 5th August. There is a choice of a short or long tasting menu. We opted for the long menu which consisted of about 12 small delectable dishes. I love to eat food I couldn't possibly cook myself. The flavours were intense I loved the cuttle fish a la plancha with tempura tentacles...

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel La Serena in Altea! The first impression was very good, we were warmly greated at arrival. We stayed at a Bellaguarda...

We found this small hotel online whilst on a driving trip in June 2016.
