Spent 2 nights in an old 18th century bakery that is nowadays turned into a hotel with a soul and charm. From here to the historic part of the city 'Casco antiguo' (with amazing views and multitude of restaurants and shops) is only 5 minutes walk up the stairs of steep streets of Altea. There are only 8 rooms or...

We began our short stay in style by arriving about 2:30 am due to snowfall at LGW and major flight delays. We were very concerned about arriving so late as we knew this is a small family run hotel and it meant someone having little sleep that night. However we arrived to a warm welcome and even the candles were...

In a narrow street close to the church we found this little gem of a hotel. It has beautiful rooms - all decorated in different ways, the hotel serves delicious breakfast & has a very nice staff. Very close to center of old town, still quiet. Must be the best place to stay in Altea!

From the moment of our arrival, when we were greeted with a glass of cava, until the moment we left nothing could have been better. The hotel is delightful and full of charm, with each room a different decor. The location is ideal, within walking distance of both the old town and the beach. Adelina and the staff at the...

There were a total of 10 of us in our group and the hotel and staff were fantastic. It was very clean, well situated for the old town and the sea front and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it.

Let's be honest, this is really more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel. You just don't get the kind of service and attention at a hotel that you get at Abaco. The owners, Adelina and Thomas, and their small staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. And they speak perfect English! Adelina recommended restaurants and made reservations for us....

We had very pleasant stay at Hotel Abaco. Excellent location, at the heart of Altea: the old town just around the corner, 5 minutes walking to the promenade and the beach, surrounded by many shops and great restaurants. The hotel is located on the tiny street, so it bit hard to find at the first time ,so use your navigator....
