Enjoyed a nine day stay here - comfortable room, excellent housekeeping. Breakfast buffet very good and plenty of it, (even when those typical pesky sunbed baggers demolished the breakfast buffet, took over the breakfast area and then took even more food for their packed lunch) - the buffet was generously replenished by staff for the rest of us. The Hotel retains its Greek charm. Would return.

I've just return from a three day business trip from Kos.I choose MARITINA a nice cheap city hotel at the middle of town.We were a team of three persons and we reserve a nice room with three beds at the second floor at the backyard of the building(No 219).Nice decorated, good dimensions, with a nice flat tv a safe deposit box(without charge)and a mini refrigerator. At the lobby area there is a bar and also an internet corner .There is a small parking zone at the front of the hotel(the space is very limited only for three cars.Of course there is a small problem with the doors of the rooms. You must take care to close carefully. There a pool bar with a small pool at the upper floor of the hotel,Nice to have some relaxing time over there. The prices at the bar are logical. All the stuff are very helpful and polite. The breakfast area located next to lobby. It was nice but I expected more. There is free wifi at all the area of the hotel.I read some reviews about the A/C at the rooms but ours was functionalThe only negative was the small balcony and without view. Thanks a lot all the staff.

My boyfriend and I have been staying for 2 weeks - everything was fine, and the hotel is located close to the harbour and all the stores. The cleaning everyday was nice. But we had some ants is our bathroom every Day.. We also really liked the rooftop with the nice pool and the sweet bartenders. Something we are not pleased about is that the reception was not very welcoming with a Hello when entered the hotel - only one guy at Night. The breakfast is OK, but the hotel is very busy during the summertime. Sometimes you needed to wait for the cups etc. But overall the hotel is fine and we had 2 great weeks in beautiful Kos City.

We have spend in Maritina hotel for 12 days. Rooms are okay, everything you need. Clean rooms (everyday) For us the room is not very important. However the rooms are a bit noisy. We were next to the elevator and you can hear everything. Breakfast is descent, not special but normal breakfast buffet, we ate there a lot. Location of the hotel is good, most of the things is 5 to 10 minutes walking. The pool is nice! Temperature great for cooling down. During our stay it was not very crowded. The food by the swimmingpool is good. The same as a lot of lunchcafes but cheaper. Special mention for the Poolbar guy Dimitris. He is a very kind an honest man. Gave us a lot of tips on what to do in Kos-town. You never have to doubt the checks because they are always right. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel!

This would be quite a half decent town hotel if the staff were not so miserable. The reception staff are unpleasant and one individual bordering on rude. They seem to have the attitude that tourists are a problem and are too much trouble. The only exception was the young lady behind the bar on the terrace pool.
